richardmurray Yes, I suspect this is where much of the confusion comes from. Things that I consider problematic...you may not. And vice versa. What YOU may consider a serious problem in our community, may not bother me one bit. For example.... I have absolutely NO problem with a Black person who wants to call themselves a U.S. citizen and embrace that identity.

I've noticed this on the various jobs I've been on. When the jobs were mostly White people. You could take a lunch when you want, wear what you want, even leave the job and eat where you want. A wide range of freedom. As soon more White people quit and they start hiring more Black and Latino employees.....but especially Black....the more rules they start adding. -can't leave the job site for lunch anymore. -sick days are limited. -can't use your cell phone during company time -gotta have dress code -no more personal music at your desk. One rule after another.

Mel Yeah, I didn't ask you because I've asked so many Lucid Dreamers how they did it and tried different things but much of it didn't seem to work. Right now, I'm happy to know it's real and that others experience it. That knowledge is enough to sustain me until I get my own experience. I'm not religious but as I get older and wiser the more and more I understand that scripture that says "blessed are those who believe without having to see". Based on what I've researched and just talking to people, my faith in the Spiritual World is so strong that I believe in it more than I believe in the existence of China. So perhaps an "experience" isn't necessary for me like it may be for others. But I feel deep sleep is for healing. Healing yourself AND others. I've read that during deep sleep, many people from this Reality practice healing and other Spiritual work in other Realities but wake up knowing nothing about it besides the feeling that they've been very busy during their sleep. ProfD Brush your teeth and tongue really well before bedtime. Do not let halitosis come between a lucid dream and a funky nightmare. Sounds like preparing for a WET dream...not a LUCID dream, lol. I've been trying to learn how to Lucid Dream for years. I know quite a few people who....like you...said it comes natural to them. One dude I know who is in his 60s says that he's been doing it since he was a kid. You describe the 1st stage of Lucid Dreaming which is being aware that you are dreaming but in more advanced stages you can actually manipulate the dream itself. Me and the other poster frankster agree that dreams often are gateways to other Realities. So Lucid Dreaming is a Spiritual gift.

I don't know whether to feel sorry for you or applaud your efforts! Probably both. Being a caregiver is one of the hardest jobs. Harder than raising children. .... because atleast with children you usually see progress as they age and it makes you feel proud of your work. I honestly don't know what to say besides thank you. 👏

ProfD That's against the law. Threatening to do physical harm to ANY innocent person should be illegal, not just public officials. And it may very well be, I'm no law expert. But if you go on social media, that's what you'll see all day...people threatening eachother and eachother's children and families. Law enforcement sees this. They pick and choose when to get involved. Those codes were written based on laws and statutes originated from that outdated document. Somewhat. The FDA and EPA have entire libraries of laws and codes that the authors of the U.S. Constitution hadn't even dreamed off, lol. Not that they are unnecessary. I like the fact that this nation supposedly insures a higher standard for our food, water, and air. Originally the U.S. was designed to be a "free" country with ONLY the Constitution as the law of the land. They supposedly wanted to see themselves separate from an overly oppressive and dictatorial Europe by having very few laws and limited government. These different penal codes and various law only came into effect AFTER the Civil War when our people were freed from Chattel Slavery. They wanted a free and independent state as long as the only ones who could enjoy that freedom were White men. When others started getting a taste of it....then came more rules and regulations.

Absolutely. The conditions in the hood ghetto (some hoods are nice....lol) are manufactured and designed to be oppressive and aggressive. A pressure valve allowed by the local governments to keep crime and violence contained instead of eliminated. However my point was that simply being willing to kill in mass numbers or even die to achieve wealth and power isn't the only reason White folks achieved power, because if that were the case a lot of AfroAmericans would have it too instead of being confined in a cell. You can be an extremely violent and criminal minded FOOL.

You and I 100% have a dissimilar opinion on the usa. The difference is my beliefs and actions line up and yours don't...lol. You complain about the USA and see little good in it ...yet continue to live here. ProfD That police officer has to follow rules which means limited power. ALL power in the hands of humans is "limited" power...lol. No human being has "unlimited" power. ProfD There is no "Freedom of speech". That's a myth. There are a whole lot of people IN AMERICA who are locked up over what they said. One person just went to jail the other day for threatening a judge. If you threaten someone or slander them you could be arrested or sued or both. You don't have freedom of assembly either. They've made all types of laws that keep felons from riding in the same car or walking together. The U.S. Constitution....for most practical purposes is out dated. The U.S. and State Penal codes run the show and is what most lawyers go by. I try to tell some of these "Sovereign Citizen" brothers this, but they don't believe me and think they can still drive around without a state issued driver's license.

Mel I took a puff when I was a teen - and never took another puff. Sounds about right. Just from our limited interactions I figured you weren't a weed smoker...lol. Honestly, except for a few people who have posted on this site in the past...nobody on here seems like typical weed smokers to me. You can't always tell on the internet, but offline I usually can EASILY tell those who smoke weed from those who don't. Not only that..... I can nail it down to whether they smoke weed that's home grown naturally or they like smoking the shit they get from the dispensaries....lol. Extremely accurate. You may not AGREE with the solutions I offer, and in some cases the problems I complain about may not even be considered problems to you and therein may lay some of the issue. But at any rate..... Let's not create conflict where they need not be any.

When they get a little power, they USE that power to benefit themselves as individuals and collectively. Many of our people....when they get a little bit of power....they use it on EACHOTHER. Look at the average Black police officer. He has a gat. A badge with the right to arrest and detain random people. Can even use his weapon to KILL somebody and have the law back him up in many cases. He's got power! Does he use that power to go after racists and drug dealers who are poisoning his community? Or does he just stand by and look stupid while another White cop with the same power USES it to harass Black motorists??? They aren't powerless. They got power. They CHOOSE not to use it on their real enemy (the Racists) and CHOOSE to use it on eachother because of jealousy and greed. I keep telling you these Negroes aren't powerless, they have PLENTY of power.....it's the GOOD SENSE to use it, that's lacking. Now..... Are the Black folks in those positions AS powerful as the White folks running the world? Probably not....although many would argue that we potentially have FAR more power that White folks but are just asleep to those powers; but they aren't powerless. YOU end up pissing one of them off and see how "powerless" they are....lol. Mess with their money or one of their skeezers they spend money on and see if they have enough power to harass you and right you tickets and try to get you investigated.

Actually, he did incite them.....and is guilty. They just refused to find him guilty of it.....simple as that. Just like he incited people in his rallies to attack protestors who were present. They simply refused to even prosecute him for it. I tend to be very analytical in what I observe so that I can pin point where the problems are. If the police were present and witnessed him inciting the crowd, why didn't THEY arrest him? If the local prosecutor got wind of it...why didn't THEY send a warrant for his arrest? All the way up to the Obama Administration and the Justice Department. This let's you know how real CONSPIRACIES are. Law enforcement and those in the legal system were TOLD to stand down....for a reason. So he could end up President.

You didn't say it, however your language, questions, and commentary suggests this is how you feel. Unnecessarily defensive about your activities on AALBC and what your intentions are, when no one has questioned them. Well, to others who post positively plus supportively I don't ask. You are one of the few people I have asked this online. The one thing you have in common to others I have asked is your style of judgements to other black people. This is a DISCUSSION FORUM. Troy knows the real reason he established this forum, however I'm going to PRESUME that the purpose for it is to DISCUSS...not necessarily agree, "speak positively", say ONLY nice and sweet things, or things that everyone agrees with. You may have a problem with my judging other Black folks. Somebody may have a problem with YOU calling Black folks "tribes", or referring to our community as a "village". Every thought of that? I don't. But some may. We're all here together to express ourselves in peace. Where we agree...we acknowledge those agreements. Where we disagree...we should either peacefully express those disagreements or ignore them and move on. In another thread I just got through explaining how so many people....especially women....would rather deal with heavily moderated social media platforms like facebook rather than an open discussion forum such as this one. Why? Because they can snitch on other posters, get them banned, their comments deleted, etc. Can't just IGNORE the other person and focus on doing THEM...no...they have to "punish" the people saying things they don't like or want to hear. Time out for that juvenile shit. If another brother or sister is saying something you don't like or agree with....express it civilly and then move on if need be. No need to challenge or confront them or make them an "op".

If they ARE in a position of power and authority, then their very CONSCIENCE would or atleast should force them to make sure that these men are properly treated. And to a lesser extent, their sense of loyalty and comradery to Black America "should" force them to. Believe it or not, most Black Americans DO have a sense of loyalty to eachother to various degrees. From my reading of the law, once in they can act as they want as long as it is legal and in the usa, the umbrella of legality tends to be quite wide Exactly. Which is why I question why they AREN'T acting. Or maybe they are...but the crimes of these men have been so egregious...some of which we in the public knows little or nothing about but only those working directly on the case will know in great detail...that their very conscience won't LET them defend these men, regardless of them being fellow AfroAmericans. No. But you brought it up as a point so it suggests that you were tying those actions together as if one led to the other. But cosby would had more black supporters if his actions weren't so foul to some other black people over the years. Perhaps. I've heard rumors circulating for decades that those who know Bill Cosby in real life say that he was a grumpy dude with an asshole-ish attitude. Even so. I don't think being an asshole or grumpy, in and of itself is enough to warrant a person being incarcerated. Especially if they are old, disabled, and can barely walk let alone defend themselves. This is the U.S.....live and let live. If somebody around you have a bad attitude, stay the hell away from them. But fuck being grumpy or firing Lisa Bonet....... Bill and Camille Cosby have given MILLIONS of dollars to Black causes around the nation and especially to HBCUs! You'd think some of these Black lawyers and prosecutors and judges who've went to school on Bill's money would PHYSICALLY step in if they had to and stop the cuffs from being put on him or stop him from being shoved in that damn cell. The crimes that Trump committed were LIVE and on camera in 2015 and 2016.....while the Obama Administration was still in office and holding power. And they were BROUGHT to his attention many times. You don't need a "Congressional Hearing" to determine whether or not a man who tells a crowd to grab and assault a man, is a crime.
