  1. Troy I ABSOLUTELY NEED HELP! I thought that went without saying....lol. I've needed help for YEARS and I STILL need it and will probably need it for years to come! I need mental, physical, spiritual, financial, ect....help. But I must have REAL help. ...not ceremonial procedures and timewasting sessions that this society offers but don't really lead to constructive and long lasting improvements! Like Neely Fuller Jr. said, we as people of color in this society are not in our right minds and need all the help we can get. Especially with what this society has done to us! I heard one African man during a speech at a university tell an audience of AfroAmericans that when he first came to the United States and saw AfroAmericans he wondered why they were so lazy, unambitious, and seemed to act so crazy.....but after spending 10 years here and seeing what was done to our people in just that short amount of time (he worked in a hospital) he said he was suprised that nearly ALL of them weren't crazy...lol. Yes, real Native Americans do exist. I didn't say they didn't. I used to live in Arizona and saw quite a few Hopis and others. But they are slowing being "watered down" over time to where the true darker ones are being regulated to reservations and out of the media while the mixed up and Caucasian ones CLAIMING Native American status are taking much of the limelight. The racially ambiguous people come from Black and white people since these people are all considered Black your reasoning is nkt logical for it is white people who "lose" with race mixing. Not exactly sure what you're saying, you may want to make your statement a little more clear but....... I DO NOT consider those who are mixed between Black and White "Black"....I consider them mixed. And my point IS that those last group of pictures of people CALLING themselves Native Americans were actually NOT Native Americans but more accurately Caucasians with only trace amounts of Native American ancestry......and that they are attempting to do the same thing with AfroAmericans. They are attempting to "water down" the AfroAmerican population to the point that in 2 or 3 generations you'll have blonde haired blue eyed pale skinned people running around in high-top fades and dredlocks CLAIMING to be "African Americans". You see a little bit of it already with the "Kardashian" phenomena. I even caught @Chevdove calling Kim Kardashian an "African American" a few times! Others have done this too! When you take race and regulate it to "culture", you get this type of confusion.
  2. I'm not saying this about ALL or even MOST AfroAmericans. I don't think it's even half or even 40% of AfroAmericans. But there IS a significant portion of our people who are psycho or socio-pathic to the point that they are disrupting the progress of the collective. Also, understand that psycho or socio-pathic doesn't necessarily mean wild or crazy or even criminal. It means you no longer have empathy and DO NOT CARE about your fellow man/woman/child. You are only concerned with yourself and how you feel. Yes, there are plenty of psychopathic Caucasians. You have one leading the nation right now, I believe. And there are plenty of Caucasians who ignore the poor and misfortunate among themselve, but even most of THESE Caucasians will support their own families and children even if they don't care for the rest of society! Man, you just mentioned Greenwood, OK, so how can you make this statement? I wasn't there to know EXACTLY what happened, however historically speaking when masses of AfroAmericans are killed like that it was usually because of LACK of unity! One group wants to fight back and defend themselves, the other group wants to go to church an "pray" the threat away, run off and leave, and beg Caucasians for mercy. Look at Haiti for example......... When the Haitians REJECTED Christianity and asked for their ancestral Deities for help they were successful and defeated the French, English, and other European powers who came against them. But Haiti is a mess today (based on what I've seen in the media and heard from those who've been there) because SOME of them still practice their ancestral religions and worship their ancestral Deities while MOST of them believe in and practice Christianity. They are divided and confused and it led to their society collapsing after victory.
  3. They did the same thing with the Native American population..................... Look at some pictures of the original Native Americans: Now look at who are calling themselves "Native American" today: Lol..... If you don't think there's some sort of AGENDA going on, you're crazy as hell.
  4. I actually AGREE with this statement, but I would add that those who CAUSE that criminal element to exists must also be removed from society. You don't just deal with the SYMPTOMS but you must also deal with the disease itself as well as what caused it.
  5. Troy you make it sound like Black are different than any other group. We ARE different ! Man, what time it iz....lol. White folks have already stopped marching. And those who are STILL marching are dropping the "Black Live Matter" facade and showing their true colors by using the energy of the moment to promote THEIR OWN agendas (anti-government, LGBT rights, marijuana laws, ect....) . How can I get mad at them for caring about THEIR OWN people and agendas to the point that 60 days later Caucasian kids in Portland are STILL raising hell.....while negroes did a little marching and then "got tired" and went home to get drunk or go to sleep while the brutality continues. You're talking about humanity in general. I can't speak on humanity in general because my travels on this planet are probably not as extensive as yours (yet) so I can't speak on their condition. I'm talking SPECIFICALLY about AfroAmericans and the condition so many of our people find themselves in. It's not so much a matter of hopelessness (although that element does exist) it is a matter of NOT CARING to begin with. Do you understand what I'm saying? I'm saying a large number of our people NEVER CARED....about their community or even their own children. In other words, the PRIORITIES of so many of our people are warped (in my opinion....but perhaps their indifference is actually normal and part of their natural genetic make-up to be psychopathic and not care about society or even their own children and I was just ASSUMING they should because I and many other AfroAmericans do) to the point that they care more about their cars, their hair, and getting drunk and high BECAUSE IT'S FUN AND THEY LIKE IT....than they do about their own families, children, and community. Go to the 'hood where YOU live and look at the expression on the faces of many of the so-called "poor" AfroAmericans. You don't see most of them crying or looking sad or helpless or hopeless as if they have a problem and are worried about how to solve it. You see them laughing, cracking jokes, laid back chilling, and grinning. Despite their community being ravaged with drugs, police brutality, red-lining, children with autism, and now covid-19 in some parts.....many of them DO NOT CARE about those things but are focused on SELF (and I do mean "self) GRATIFICATION. Yes SOME are sad, hopeless, and want to get out of their situation......but a disturbing number DO NOT. Think about your childhood growing up...... Think very hard about some of the children and adults you saw committing crimes and violent acts and try to remember did they do it with "hopeless" and desperate looks on their faces as if they had no choice BUT to mistreat and harm another AfroAmerican? Or did they BRAG about it and LAUGH about how much harm they inflicted? The brothers who had children and couldn't take care of them....... Did MOST of themy sit down on the stoops and lean against the hallways with "hopeless" looks on their faces crying and wondering how they would be able to support and take care of their children and their baby mammas? Or did MOST of them spend what little money they DID have getting high, drunk, buying nice clothes and doing their best to duck and dodge their responsibilities before an authority caught up with them and FORCED them to pay something towards supporting their children? What is my point? My point is, a large (again....not sure how large) element of our community is cold and indifferent and are either socio-pathic or psycho-pathic and not only DO NOT CARE about the suffering and harm of fellow AfroAmericans but will even INFLICT suffering and harm on other AfroAmericans for their own PERSONAL gain. *I'm beginning to wonder if this "negative element" among our people is not the primary reason so many AfroAmerican communities are in such terrible and cannibalistic conditions right now more so than even White Supremacy. Because history shows that our unity actually DEFEATS White Supremacy! Every time we unite and put our minds to do something collectively Caucasians HAVE NOT, CAN NOT, and HAVE NEVER stopped us from achieving that goal whatever it was. Problem is, often times when we make plans and try to do something, that "negative element" in our community often disrupts that unity before it is even achieved.
  6. The following rant was taken from an earlier discussion I had with Troy about conspiracy theories and why so many Caucasians today are ready to believe in conspiracy theories while so many AfroAmericans today are NOT and are ready to dismiss them. I don't know the percentage...most, half, a minority...I'm not sure but I think a large number of our people simply DO NOT CARE about their community or even their own children. I mean they literally DO NOT CARE. They are not interested in things....true or false....that affect AfroAmerican community, only that which affects them PERSONALLY. As long as THEY have some money in THEIR pocket, a roof over their heads, and are sexually satisfied....as far as they are concerned EVERYTHING is alright and the economy is doing great. Who cares about the brother who just got threatened and shot at by Latino gang members, or that homeless sister talking to herself that you pass by on your way to work every day, or the hell so many other AfroAmericans in other cities around the nation are catching? Well, can't the same thing be said about Caucasians too? That THEY are selfish and only care about themselves? No. White people just don't care about YOU (people of color)....but they DO care about eachother, their children, and their future. Why do you think Trump wanted to be President and ran for it several times at 70 years old instead of chilling with his millions of dollars and enjoying the rest of his life? Because he cared about the FUTURE of his children and the other wealthy Caucasians he represents. White folks get rich and usually help OTHER White folks get rich. Not all Caucasians do this obvioiusly.....but enough do it to keep eachother in power and wealth. Negroes get rich and usually don't help anyone else INCLUDING their own children. Infact, many are STUPID enough to actually get rich and marry a Caucasians so that when they die their Caucasian spouse and their family ends up getting most of the wealth! 2-3 million AfroAmericans locked up in the jails and prisons of the United States. Many of them are guilty but many are innocent. Who is fighting to get them out? Many of them have so-called loved ones on the outside but may send them things and visit them but there is no real coordinated effort on the collective to pull them out of those dungeons. Hell, even most of those who were in and came out aren't trying to help the others who they left behind in there. Many come out only to get drunk, high, and into more trouble before being tossed back in. Many of us simply DO NOT CARE. Millions of AfroAmerican children diagnosed with Autism and other mental and behavioral disorders. White women out there fighting and raising hell over vaccinations and environmental toxins that are affecting THEIR children and THEIR communities. where are the AfroAmerican mothers..many of whom have Autistic children? In the nail salon? In the beauty salon? And the weed dispensary? Admit it...many of you don't care about those children. Everyone on this site knows atleast ONE AfroAmerican child who has autism, how many books have you written about it? It's not so much that you know what IS or IS NOT giving AfroAmerican children Autism. You simply DO NOT CARE what's giving them autism. It's not even on your radar of interests. Some story about 2 Black drag-queens who met eyes in a Starbucks and fell in love over a latte is more interesting. CNN could announce that a group of racist militias have began executing AfroAmericans in Phoenix Arizona and are planning to go to Los Angeles next and many of our people STILL wouldn't be interested in what was happening and would try their best to ignore the news unless they lived in L.A. or saw what was happening before their very eyes and were getting shot at THEMSELVES. Not that many of our people wouldn't believe it. ....they simply WOULD NOT CARE, unless it was happening to THEM. Although I saw signs of it when I was younger, I initially didn't want to accept this which is why I....like so many others.....made excuses for a lot of AfroAmericans who continued to sell drugs even after it was CONFIRED that the government was bringing it into South Central and other communities to target the AfroAmerican population. After talking to a lot of cats who still sold dope even afterwards, I realized that while a few of them didn't believe it was a conspiracy brought in to destroy them the VAST MAJORITY actually DID believe it was....but they STILL sold dope anyway! I said "EVEN THOSE WHO KNEW IT WAS A CONSPIRACY TO DESTROY THE COMMUNITY CONTINUED TO SELL IT" Why? It was very confusing, until I realized....they simply DID NOT CARE. They didn't care if drugs were being brought to the hood to destroy it; they were simply interested in making some money to buy "fresh shit" and enjoy themselves! Sometimes you don't want to blame the victim because you feel so sorry for them and you think the last thing they need is for someone to point the finger at them, but if you go to some of the cities where a lot of these protests are taking place you'll find the actual protests filled with Caucasians of all ages marching and shouting "Black Lives Matter" and you look around and ask where are all the Black people they are marching and fighting for- ....all you have to do is go out into the neighborhoods and you'll find many AfroAmericans piling in and out of liquor stores grinning, drinking, fighting with eachother, cussing loud, and smoking weed as if they don't have a care in the world DESPITE being targeted and killed by racists from coast to coast. We may not want to accept it but I really do think many of our people really DO NOT CARE about their community collectively or their own children. Seriously. Those of you who DO care please don't get offended, but you have to come to the realization that a large portion of our people for whatever reason simply DO NOT CARE about AfroAmerican children getting autism, locked up in prison, or shot down by the police or eachother. These are the "negative element" of our community that cause most of the problems that we constantly have to spend our time solving. They also take much of our time and energy away from fighting the BIGGEST problem which is White Supremacy. Understand me clearly..... It's not a matter of: They care but aren't sure what to do about their condition so they've given up hope and are confused. It's a matter of: They DON'T CARE and NEVER CARED....about their own family members, community, or even their own children. Those of us who DO care may have to accept this fact THIS YEAR....and figure out where WE should go from here. I'm wondering would it be wiser to....instead of focusing on exactly what caused them to be like this in the first place.....just remove ourselves from them to avoid more harm first. Perhaps when Donald Trump and his storm-troopers are finished....those of us who are still left WILL be the ones who actually cared.
  7. This is why we need as AfroAmericans need "boots on the ground" reporters to ACCURATELY report what's going on not only in our community but in the world in general. I've learned a long time ago not to take what the mainstream (or any other) media says simply on face value just by what I would see growing up in my neighborhood. Something would happen and we were all there to witness it from start to finish. The news reporters would be there to do the report and interview witnesses. We would go home at night and rush to the television set to see the local news to see ourselves in the background or whatever...lol. And not only did they CHOP UP the interview to make the person look like they said something they didn't say...... But the story the news report gives is NOTHING like what really happened! They would even lie about the number of people involved and whether nor not it was a man or woman! They were more than mistakes but outright LIES. If this would happen only one or two times that's one thing, but when you begin to see a REPEATED pattern of this happening over the years you begin to realize that "fake news" has been around a long time. This is why we need our own media who get the stories from our own verified sources.
  8. Because of how Manhattan is structured, Harlem was too densely populated for them to simply tear down and built a freeway through. Which is probably one of the reasons it lasted so long while many other historically AfroAmerican neighorhoods (Bronzeville, Black Bottom, Hough, ect..) didn't. With Harlem they apparently decided to take the gentrification route and direct as many non-AfroAmericans toward it as possible. Not sure about New York but in the Midwest and Westcoast a key element in gentrification is the "Hipster" movement......lol. I remember as a teenager there were some neighborhoods that were so rough you couldn't DRIVE through after dark and even in the daytime you better stay on the avenue and NOT go down the block or as Fred Sanford would say, "When they get ready to bury you they'll have to take your HAT to the cemetery"....lol. But about 8 years ago I would drive past those SAME neighborhoods and would see a Caucasian woman in yoga pants jogging down the street with her golden retriever trotting along side her....and a few blocks down see some dumpy looking Caucasian man with a long red beard and earring in his nose walking around with a guitar! Nobody bothering them, they seem to be carrying on fearless and without any concern. I asked about them and found out they were called "Hipsters"....spoiled Caucasian children from upper class suburbs who were being paid to move to the ghetto.
  9. Troy Absolutely! He's absolutely trying to appeal to the so-called Conscious Community who respond strongly to the type of language he uses, understands why, and focuses more on the CONTENT and information he delivers. From my experience and observations around the nation this group is comprised mostly of those who are either working class with basic highschool education OR first generation college educated. This is the type of language THEY use most often, not on jobs or in the classroom....but with eachother. Because they tend to come from the Working class which is found BETWEEN the Destitute/Criminal class and the well educated Professional class, most people in the Conscious Community pull the strongest points from both of these classes as well. I've seen Tariq do dozens of interviews from local ghetto community spots to Russia Today (RT); he knows how to talk and conduct himself appropriately depending on the platform and audience. Not sure about Dr. Ben or Dr. Clarke but I've heard Minister Farrakhan say "nigga" on several occasions during his speeches. And just like Tariq, he tends to do it as a way to relate to the audience he's addressing. Also, this type of language is done strategically to cause "shock" and offense to those his talks are NOT meant for....namely Caucasians and non-Woke AfroAmericans. Telling them outright that they are not welcomed on his sites or that they should not listen because what he's saying isn't meant for them would obviously have the opposite effect. They would just stay around simply to criticize everything he says and does. So using language that is considered so silly and offensive that most Caucasians and non-Woke AfroAmericans would find him too ridiculous to even take seriously and waste time with does the job....lol. If you think HE'S bad....you should listen to a pretty prominent sister in the Conscious community known as Mechee X: https://youtu.be/vjZjd50tukM She is HIGHLY intelligent and offers a wealth of information but every other word is a cuss word and that's just a little TASTE of her typical presentation......LOL.
  10. daniel On the Topic of Homosexuality, there is nothing that can be legally done to combat it's normalization in American Society so it is an Individual Choice to Accept it or Rejected. I have a felony. I have no empathy or sympathy for the criminal elements in our society. If you commit the crime you do your time. Once you get out you do your best to get pass the error of your ways. I understand what you're saying and you will get no argument from me over the issue; but my question is why is not this SAME laissez faire attitude most Conservatives are NOW taking towards homosexuality (after being so vocally against it for decades) NOT taken towards AfroAmericans having children out of wedlock or placing atleast SOME of the blame for AfroAmerican societal problems on systemic racism? These SAME Black Conservatives who are now silent on homosexuality and feminism use the BULL HORN when it comes to criticizing "Black on Black" crime, broken Black families, and poor academic performance in schools! I say that it's NOT because Black Conservatives all of a sudden found a new-found love for their homosexual brothers and sister but because they have received direct orders from their CAUCASIAN CONSERVATIVE LEADERS to keep their mouths shut and not criticize homosexuality or the feminist movement (in public atleast) because it will draw too much negative attention, affect their funding, and affect their election results. And instead of sticking to their ethics...almost all Black Conservatives have decided to TOW THE LINE and keep their mouths shut on the very immorality and social dysfunctions that they accused the Democrats of pushing....lol. As I said before, the Caucasian leaders in the Republican Party have made it crystal clear to Black Conservatives that the ONLY people they are allowed to criticize are OTHER AfroAmericans. But they had BETTER keep their mouths shut on the immorality of Caucasians. Finally note, if we don't deal with the criminal culture in our community the death toll will continue in our communities. I agree with you 100% Unfortunately the AfroAmerican community is currently NOT in the best position to deal with the cancerous criminal element because for the most part neither the law enforcement nor the criminal justice system are completely under our control. They are under the control of Caucasians who DON'T have a vested interest in keeping our communities safe or stable. Their objective seems to be to CONTAIN the criminal element of society within the AfroAmerican community instead of preventing it alltogther. Look at how Breonna Taylor was shot to pieces by a group of racists while she lay sleeping in her bed and those clowns are still out free walking around! If we were able to deal with the criminal element that is harassing our community as you rightly suggest -that would have never happened, but if it did those racists would be behind bars right now. So now........ Are you suggesting that AfroAmericans should disregard the current obviously ineffective Caucasian criminal justice system....take personal responsibility to protect our own community...and police ourselves? And if you are NOT suggesting this, how do you thing we should "deal" with the criminal culture you suggest? Encouraging self destructive habits won't help you build a strong society. Once again, I agree! Man, who would have thought an Black Conservative and AfroAmerican Liberal would find so much agreement...lol. Expecting Caucasians to give us freedom, justice, and equality as long a they are in control of this society is one of the BIGGEST self-destructive habits that our people must break! They repeatedly make the SAME mistake over and over of trusting and putting their love and faith in Caucasians only to be burned over and over again. I suspect the Black Church is the biggest source of this habit by teaching the slave based "love thine enemy" doctrine. The Black Church needs to STOP encouraging this self-destructive and foolish habit of telling their congregation they should "love" everyone or accept them as brothers and sisters. Look at where it got the poor brothers and sisters at the AME church in Charleston where they attempted to "love" and "welcome" Dylan Roof into their house of worship. Communist China has the Plurality of Asians. 6 billions plus are not under the mind control or love of the Caucasian. The purpose of the Cultural Revolution was to purge their society of Western Influence. Problem is....COMMUNISM ITSELF is a Western ideology; and religiously following and praising the Communist and Marxist doctrine started by Caucasian men will ultimately lead you back INTO the Caucasian mind-set that produced it. Which is exactly what happened after Mao died. As soon as Mao passed away the Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping came along delivered China RIGHT BACK into the arms of the West along with an apology for keeping them waiting so long. So now China...with 2 billion people....is simply one big slave labor source for Western corporations like Amazon and Google. If you want to see African/Black Society in action, look at Africa. Plain and simple. Dr. Jeffries has been working in Ghana for numerous years. Dr. Ben used to take numerous trips to Egypt virtually Annually. Oh come on now..... I would HARDLY describe a POST-COLONIAL Africa still struggling to heal herself from the dismantling of her original socio-economic systems and the imposition of European based feudalistic systems as an example of "Black society". That would be about as sympathetic and understanding as pointing to a disabled and disfigured woman laying in a hospital bed suffering from the Bubonic Plague and asking her husband why in the world would he had wanted to marry a woman in THAT condition?
  11. If I had the money AND the resources (both material and human) I would RE-BUILD many of the old all-AfroAmerican towns and neighborhoods that were established right after Re-Construction. Greenwood and Rosewood are just a couple of the famous ones, but there were HUNDREDS of thriving independant AfroAmerican communities scattered all over this nation back in the 19-teens. Different methods were used to destroy them in different time periods. Back during legal segregation they just outright destroyed them. But in the 50s and 60s they used the inter-state freeway system as an excuse to bulldoze and dismantle thriving AfroAmerican communities. Today "gentrification" is the excuse. They also systematically removed trade and skill programs from the public schools to prevent AfroAmericans from LEARNING how to physically build their own communities.
  12. Troy Well, he certainly doesn't NEED to do it. None of us do. But like myself, he probably just says it out of habit. I limit my use of it out of respect for your site, but along with "m...f.." I use it quite frequently in my normal vocabulary. I even use it in public speaking engagements depending on the audience....lol. Should he (or I)? Probably not. Despite the fact that "nigga" is now actually a different word from "ni**er", we do know the two are related coming out of the same origin (negro) and neither are generally used positively. It's a habit, and we all know habits are hard to break.
  13. Honestly, I don't know. I'm at an age now where I no longer simply judge the validity of a person or their ideas simply by how well they speak or how well their plans look on paper but by the success of their ACTIONS and what they've been able to ACCOMPLISH so far. A lot of people have a lot of beliefs and opinions but I don't know of any person who has come up with a plan that has WORKED to destroy systemic Caucasian domination and elevated AfroAmericans to a much higher level of civilization.....YET.
  14. daniel There's nothing to stop anyone of us from exceeding his performance if that is what we focus on. If you were to simply say anyone (actually "most" would be a more accurate term) of us could exceed his performance and left it right there, I wouldn't argue against your point. But to say "nothing is stopping" us is a direct denial of the powerful institutional injustices of this society. Take racism out of it.... Would you deny that there are THOUSANDS of men and women in prison right now who through drug distribution, gambling, and sex trafficking enterprises were on their way to exceeding the wealth of Jeff Bezos but were STOPPED by law enforcement and the criminal justice system from achieving this? Whether you agree with their methods or not, the fact was they WERE STOPPED from wealth accumulation by governmental forces while Jeff was allowed to continue. My point is there are plenty of outside forces that prevent the individual from achieving their goals. We are in a period which will dwarf the economic explosion of 1492 ?????? Troy Funny you should mention greenwood. I was there last week. "Bad" is a colossal understatement. What do you mean? Are you saying it's NOT bad at all, or is it SOOOO bad that a stronger word should be used? I thought it was declared a Historic Site, which are usually well maintained and protected.
  15. daniel When it comes to American Politics it always balls down to which Party is going to provide the most for you Community. But isn't THIS the mentality that most so-called "Black Conservatives" say they don't like about the Black Democrat philosophy of not taking personal responsibility and always depending on someone else? A truly "independant minded" community wouldn't sit around waiting for WHICH party is going to provide the most for them but would CREATE their own party for their own community and make that happen themselves! If not we will have a situation like after Reconstruction. The difference is the rulers will be Asian not White. White Domination of this planet has be a recent and short event. If you look at their history you will see that they can only go so far then fall back into Dark Ages. Perhaps Troy will agree with you on such a short time of Caucasian rulership but the history I've studied suggest that it goes back much further; anyway....... You bring up a good point about Asian rulership. However it must be understood that the vast majority of East Asians have been BRAINWASHED into Western (Caucasian) thinking and are almost parallel with them in terms of reasoning, morals, ethics, ect... If you pay close attention a lot of East Asians tend to "out white man the white man!" in terms of behavior! Most Caucasians are astonished at how well East Asians have been able to imitate and hold on to and maintain the basic values of Western civilization and religiously drill them into their offspring. I believe the plan has been for the past 70 years or so for the Caucasians to TRAIN East Asians to take the mantle of "White Supremacy" and continue it for them in their absence! Many East Asians have instinctively realized this and are cooperating.
  16. The elder brother lived a long and full life for his time and I hope he is resting in peace right now. However I don't know if his example is the best one for our people to follow. Is there honor is getting your ass whipped by racists? Is the picture of you on the ground with a bloody head holding up your hands to avoid being hit again by a racist with a baton (as opposed to taking his baton away and beating his ass with it) REALLY a picture worthy of honor? It seems to me that one of the reasons many of these Civil Rights icons are so beloved and praised in the main stream media is because it sends a message to AfroAmericans that you can call racism and fight for justice.....as long as you don't defend yourself or threaten Caucasians in doing so.
  17. You have a point in that people tend to FIND what they're LOOKING FOR. Most weren't interested in those brothers then, and aren't really interested in them now. But Detroit....like Atlanta and Chicago...back in the 80s had a lot of Afrocentric book stores and other venues where it was hard to AVOID "Black Consciousness". You would literally have to go out of your way, duck, and dodge to avoid Black power and Black awareness promotion. There were brothers on every other corner either in suits and bow-ties selling papers and pies, or brothers in flowing white robes and turbans with long tables set up selling oils and incense....lol.
  18. Troy I know more people who have stroked out and died during this pandemic that i know who have died from Covid19 and I believe stress had a lot to do with it... I remember you saying a while back that you lost about 5 people you knew personally to Covid19 (and that was a couple months ago so I'm not sure if that toll has risen) and now you're saying you lost even MORE people to other problems. On top of the stress this pandemic is causing, a lot of people are dying from serious medical conditions that are going untreated because either many doctor's offices have closed or many are afraid of going to the hospital. Some people may have cancer or heart conditions and have stopped going to get check-ups out of fear and have succumbed to the diseases for lack of care. I think that's one of the biggest scandals. How many people have died of OTHER causes because all of the attention is being given to Covid 19? But to your point about wealth accumulation..... *Keep this just between you and me....lol. The point is NOT to make the majority of the population wealthy, but to keep them relatively comfortable and content while they continue to work. If most people were wealthy they WOULD NOT WORK, and society would collapse for lack of an adequate labor force willing to perform the necessary duties to keep it going. Most people aren't PROFESSIONALS who love what they are doing regardless of the pay. Most service workers like hotel maids, garbage collectors, truck drivers, ect only show up to work because they HAVE TO to keep the money coming in and the bills paid. Many of them, as soon as they hit the lottery and come into a big sum of money usually QUIT their jobs (for a time atleast) to enjoy their money. Which tells me that if they were wealthy and had enough money to last them most would NEVER do these jobs again. The economic leaders of society have learned long ago that in order to keep society running you give people just enough to keep THEM running but constantly working to keep the money coming in....lol.
  19. Troy Man most southern Christians are about as socially conservative as you can get How so? . I used to live down South in several southern states from Louisiana to Georgia and I can honestly say that I've found them no more moral or even religious than anywhere else in the nation. The only difference I noticed was is the dominant religion of the region. On the East Coast, West Coast, and Southwest....the predominant religion is Catholicism where as in the Midwest and South it's Protestantism. But in both regions I ran into a pretty much EQUAL amount of criminals, dope smokers, alcoholics, people who cuss, people who go to church, people who don't, ect.... Also, most southern Christians are AfroAmerican.
  20. Troy The real secret to wealth, accessible to most Bkack people, as illustrated in Black Fortunes, is entrepreneurship. Collectively yes. Individually, this is not necessarily the case. I'm sure you've worked on enough jobs to assess people and realize that MOST aren't even qualified to be managers....let alone Owners of a business which initially takes more focus, discipline, and dedication to delivering service to the customers than management. It's been my observation that most people aren't "entrepreneur material". Most just want to put their little time in at work, get their check, and spend it on securing basic necessities and abusing whatever substance of their choosing. That option should be provided to them BY those relative minority of us who DO love dedicating our time and energy to keeping establishments operating and providing products and services.
  21. Troy I'm from the Midwest and have known about the late great Dr. Ben since being a teenager. He called himself a Jewish Puerto Rican and talked about how much he loved pork chops...lol. You mentioned Leonard Jeffries but did you know Dr. Tony Martin?
  22. daniel I would ask if you have heard of the Bronze Shields? They are an Black Police organization. No, but thank you for informing me on this organizations as well as the WEALTH of other information you just dropped in your post. It's going to take a little while for me to digest this!
  23. daniel Colin Powell is doing some wonderful work in the Bronx with minority youth. Is the General teaching them the art of warfare? How to protect their communities from the criminals within and the racists from outside? If not, he's wasting both HIS time and THEIRS. I can't speak for ALL AfroAmericans who have a problem with "Black Conservatives" because different people have their different reasonings for why they feel the way they feel. But MY issue with those AfroAmericans who CALL themselves "Black Conservatives" are very defined. For one thing, let's start with the term.... An AfroAmerican calling themselves a "Black Conservative" makes about as much sense as a Jewish person calling themselves a "German-Traditionalist". Conservative means to conserve or preserve the older traditions and values of a society or nation. The older traditions and values of the United States revolve around racism, sexism, and religious ignorance. Values that most Caucasian men love because THEY are instruments of OPPRESSION and usually used to keep targeted groups in a subservient position. But why a woman or an AfroAmerican would want to "conserve" THOSE traditions and values after fighting for a century GET OUT from under them is beyond me, lol. Now if those who CALL themselves "Black Conservatives" want to maintain morality in society, family stability, and promote business ownership in the AfroAmerican community......things I agree with....then they should STOP calling themselves "Conservatives" and choose another name. Maybe "Black Moralists" or something. But "conservative" is the wrong term. Futhermore....... So-called "Black Conservatives" should STOP pledging allegiance to the Republican Party and start their OWN political organization separate from both the racist Republicans and the AfroAmerican Democrats whom they may disagree with ideologically. I'd have far more respect for that, than for them hopping in bed with the racist right-wing party of the United States. I'm going to give you an example of what I mean...... If you notice, unlike 30 years ago, most so-called "Black Conservatives" today DO NOT speak out against homosexuality NOR do they preach that a woman's duty is to be at home with the kids instead of working and pursuing a career.....things they were VERY vocal about in the past. They have basically the same "it's all good" attitude towards homosexuality and feminism that their Caucasian Conservative counterparts have. And why don't they? Because the Caucasian led Republican Party no longer says this openly, so the "Black Conservatives" who take their orders FROM their Caucasian Republican leadership must ALSO keep silent on the very issues they CLAIMED they left the Democrat Party over! AfroAmerican Conservatives are NOT allowed to criticize feminism in public anymore. AfroAmerican Conservatives are NOT allowed to criticize homosexuality in public anymore. The ONLY thing AfroAmerican Conservatives are allowed to do in public is criticize Black criminality and Black family dysfunction....but leave the white homosexuals and feminists alone. So basically the "Black Conservative" movement isn't really about standing up for Conservative values SO MUCH as it's about doing whatever the leadership of the Republican Party demands in order to get money and benefits from them.....which is same thing the "Black Progressives" in the Democrat party are doing! Look brother...... Whether we call ourselves Conservative or Progressive, we as AfroAmericans will eventually have to set aside these labels that Caucasians came up with to manipulate and divide us and start deciding for OURSELVES hat type of society we want socially, economically, morally, ect....
  24. Not to get into the middle of the conversation but I had to say........ The second thing is to purchase vehicles for the purpose of increasing one's income. This is excellent advice! If you're going to spend thousands of dollars on something you should try to use it as an INVESTMENT. Instead of simply using it as a source to get to work and back, use it to HAUL MATERIAL, as a TAXI SERVICE, or as a MEDICAL TRANSPORT SERVICE.....something that will generate income. Too many of our people treat cars as STATUS symbols; objects purchased by people with low self esteem in hopes that they will increase their personal value in the eyes of others. If I lived on the East coast I probably wouldn't have a car UNLESS I had a business that demands one. It occurred to me years ago that CAR OWNERSHIP much like HOME OWNERSHIP was probably originally meant for RICH people who could afford to purchase and maintain them without financial hardship; but mortgages and car loans tricked middle class and poor people into trying to maintain an appearance of prosperity and ended up in a lot of debt and financial ruin. President Obama is guilty of this with his "Cash for clunkers" scheme that instead of giving people cash actually tricked a lot of AfroAmericans into getting into MORE debt. Whether it's a new car with an expensive car-note or a used car with thousands of dollars in repair bills.....on top of the thousands of dollars a year spent on gas and insurance....most vehicles are designed to EAT UP your income! It's just part of a the greater strategy that began 60 years ago with the closing down of the factories in the cities to try to turn AfroAmericans from PRODUCERS who were manufacturing and making a lot of money - to CONSUMERS who spend the little money they do have and end up going into debt purchasing a lot of what they don't need.
