ProfD Nowadays, it's hard to get the talented 10th in the same room. They've got platforms that allow them to do a whole lot of talking without solving any problems. I'm not going to drop names but you have an idea. If you read my posts you'll notice I constantly talk about the most intelligent AND decent Black people coming together to build. Because we have plenty of INTELLIGENT Black people in our community. Problem is many of them are IMMORAL and use that intelligence for evil and selfish purposes that do nothing to uplift the collective and in many cases help destroy the community for self enrichment. As soon as they get in the room with eachother, they start competing with eachother over who's the smartest, who has the most money, who should be the leader. Egos so big....like Biggie said...ya hat can't fit you. "When da' lime light hits ya......." Regardless of whether it's a country or a corporation, when it comes to leadership, a small percentage of folks leads the multitude. A Talented 10th doesn't absolve the role of the 90%. Every individual within the community has the responsibility of using their knowledge, skills and abilities to make life better as well. 💯 Beautifully stated! You can't have a society where EVERYBODY is in charge and doing what they want to do in their own direction. You need a society where you have clear, qualified leadership who are dedicated to moving the community in the right direction...progress. One of the problems with out community is you currently have too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Daniel Trump of course. Elitism is part of human nature. You'll always have a minority of leaders and a majority of followers. It’s not even about the White Community, it’s about the relationship to the other 90% that’s the problem. True And vice versa The Black masses also have a problem respecting it's leaders! When the Chinese or Japanese leader tells the people what to do, the put their head down and shuffle off to do it. Try telling a nigga what to do....even if you are CLEARLY more qualified than him. I'm beginning to think the same thing about MSNBC too. Half of the Black men on THAT channel are gay. They are just taking gay Black men and putting robes over them, putting flowers in their hands, tossing rose petals all over them and worshipping them like Prom Queen or something.

Most dealers and thieves do arithmetic. Big time dealers and successful thieves have high IQs and CAN do advanced arithmetic. Their brains helped get them where they are in the first place But most pushers and crooks don't. Most have normal to below normal IQs and struggle with it. These workers aren’t mentally incompetent. When they change their focus their conditions will change. That's wishful and unrealistic thinking. You can preach that "feel good" talk all day because YOU don't have the responsibility of taking care of these people and making jobs for them. The fact is SOME people are mentally incompetent and nothing outside of a Miracle will change this. So it's best to produce good paying jobs suitable for them instead of trying to FORCE them to be smarter and get more education to improve their finances.

Well first of all the entire criminal justice system needs an overhaul. Most of the laws on the books be they federal, state, or local....don't work well for AfroAmericans. They are either too harsh, too easy, or irrelevant and shouldn't exist at all. Infact, I'd go as far as to say over 90% of the laws on the books shouldn't exist. Further, like we've touched on earlier....there aren't enough mental hospitals to house people and give them treatment...which isn't by accident. They DEISNGED it this way so as to save money on spending and helping people. But the punishments need to change too...... Most people who are locked up shouldn't have been locked up for the crimes they've committed. Most of them should have gotten either a fine or CORPORAL punishment (i.e. "flogging"....) I totally support some people getting their ass whipped as punishment for certain crimes instead of locked up in a cage for 10 or 15 years.

A house divided cannot stand. However is this house really divided...or is it ROLE PLAYING that's really taking place? There is something that great and wonderful Elder Mr. Neely Fuller Jr. said that actually I had been seeing since my teens. I would watch White boys PRETEND to fight around Black boys. I wasn't sure if they were doing it to be cool or what but it was obviously fake and would rarely escalate to getting physical. And if it did, it would be a few slaps and shoves. I knew White dudes could do more than that to eachother and often did when they were TRULY angry. I saw this more and more on jobs and other places where White men would do almost like a "role play" where they would pretend to hate eachother or fight with eachother specifically around us, but didn't QUITE understand why they were doing it other than they wanted us to see it. I wonder if the same thing might be going on here. I wonder how serious the leaders of BOTH sides of the debate really are in their positions and how much of it is just role playing to pretend they're really fighting with eachother to give the illusion that they are divided.

Mzuri You shouldn't have been living so close to the border to BEGIN with...lol I've been to the Mexican borders of both Texas and California. I used to go to Juarez. All kinds of characters hang around that border area looking crazy begging and getting into mischief.

Even for skilled labor jobs.... To go to school for 4 or 5 years and learn the math and other skills it takes to be a journeyman is too much for the average poor/working class person. You really do need to be ATLEAST average IQ or a little higher. This is why most people don't get skilled trades. They can't get past the math. The tangents and degrees throw them off....lol

The problem with unionization is that it usually takes too much intelligence, skill, planning and subversive behavior for it to get off the ground and be effective and MOST poor and workingclass people don't have enough people in their ranks to pull that off. Or atleast....don't have as many as wealthier people. At my now FORMER job, in the 8 years I've been there people have tried to unionize it atleast 5 times and it collapsed because not enough people were interested. Most poor and workingclass people are of average to below average intelligence. Not all...but most. They aren't interested in reading and staying late or meeting off the work site to organize. They just want to put their little 8 hours in, clock out....and go get drunk, high, have sex, and enjoy themselves and their families. The solutions for most poor and working class people must be SIMPLE so that the masses of them can participate.

ProfD Dr. Boyce Watkins was doing an entire show about this very subject a few minutes ago. This might seem a little disappointing, but I really don't have that much of a problem with the cover to be honest. This is a very interesting subject that probably deserves it's own thread. Let me know if you want me to throw up another canvass for you to paint on until Troy straightens out your account. I personally don't have a problem with it for several reasons: 1. I'm no longer religious so I don't find nudity and using women for sex wrong, as long as they aren't being forced into it. I know you don't need to be religious to have morals...and I have morals...but they don't revolve around sexual activity. So I personally don't find it offensive. I know I'm not a Black woman so I can't answer for them but as a Black man I LOVE seeing the body of Black women. 2.I think too many of our sisters have picked up the "any appreciation of the female body is offensive" vibe from a lot of the White feminists they went to college with. So now any attempt to portray Black women in a sexual light is seen as offensive. The fact is MOST WOMEN....of all races...are sexualized...not just Black women. 3. We can't have it both ways. We can't say don't sexualize the Black woman....but when a Black man says ok and then goes after the White woman who doesn't have ANY problem getting naked and being as freaky as she wants to be...then get mad at him for chasing after White women. We tell the brother stop disrespecting the sister and lusting after her....so he stops and goes after the White woman. We tell him to stop lusting after the White woman....so he stops and starts lusting after OTHER Black men...LOL We tell him NO BROTHER...stop lusting after other dudes....... Now the poor brother don't know WHO he's allowed to lust after. And starts lusting after HIMSELF to be on the safe-side. "Can a brutha catch a break???" So, for me....as long as it's between consenting men and women...it's all good. Can't make too many rules and restrictions. But that's just MY opinion after so many experiences and observations of Black man/female relations.

CRT is a big DISTRACTION Something they put up to get Black folks worked up over and get people to fighting over WHILE they're enacting laws and codes that are REALLY harmful. Black folks should be building our own schools and teaching our own children anyway. Not running around arguing with White folks and trying to force THEM to teach our children about racism....if that's the goal of CRT. And if the goal is to teach White folks about racism.....that's like teaching a criminal about crime. "You THINK you know how to jack somebody But let me tell ya....you don't know JACK!" What the HELL sense does it make for some Black man in dreadlocks and glasses to stand there call himself lecturing a group of White college kids on racism in America??? " Ok guys...this class is about racism. In case you didn't know how racism operates, I'm gonna teach you all about it" NICCA THEY KNOW MORE ABOUT IT THAN YOU!! MY idea of Critical Race Theory wouldn't be Black folks lecturing White racists about racism. MY idea of Critical Race Theory would be the other way around!!!!! It would consist of WHITE FOLKS who go around telling Black students how racism is practiced both overtly and covertly and exposing all the tricks and lies they use. Not some dried up nicca with veins running through his arms standing infront of a class full of racist White folks grinning at his silly ass as he tries to teach them how "hard" it is for Black people in the U.S.....as if the folks who MADE it that way don't already know.

I HOPE the fighting and division continues to escalate. I hope the nation ends up shutting down again. As far as it being a 1st Amendment issue..... Since WHEN was the 1sth Amendment respected??? The people never were free to say what they want or express themselves how they wished since the founding of this country. That's mere cheap talk. They are PRIVILEDGES...not rights. And anytime the government or law wants to take them away from most people, they just DO so. You don't have a "right" not to wear as mask any more than do you have a right NOT to wear clothes when you walk out the house.

I've repeatedly said for over 10 years now that Black folks need a SOLID AGENDA. But what I've been saying for about 3 years specifically is that INTELLIGENT and DECENT Black folks need to get together and formulate this agenda because you'll never unite ALL Black folks on everything. Unfortunately, some of our people are just plain too STUPID to know what's in their best interests. They'll sell-out for a pack of Black-N-Milds and 12 piece party pack of Popeyes chicken. You can't discuss anything of importance with them. They won't understand if and many of those who manage to....will just screw your plans. "Reparations???? NIgga this IS the Reparations! Da' fuck you thank???" INTELLIGENT and DECENT Black folks need to organized and form an agenda. I've discovered that INTELLIGENT Black people...meaning Black people with an IQ of atleast over 95..actually tend to think quite similar. We notice the same things in society and actually notice the same problems. When intelligent Black men get together...and leave the dope and alcohol alone while we meet...we usually come up with VIABLE solutions to our problems pretty quickly. It's usually White folks who come into the meeting interfering with the discussion or Black FOOLS who waste time talking loud and making threats that hinder progress. And don't let a bunch of Black fools AND some White folks be at the same meeting...they'll REALLY act up!!! Start showing out and competing with eachother over who the White folks agree with the most. "Now wait a minute now... Shhhhhh...be quiet yall, I got sum' to say. Now hold on yall... I thank...I thank dat we should all show a dep of gratitude to Massa Trump fa takin' time out his busy schedule to come sit down wit' us." Just don't let THEM butter biscuit eating fools in our meetings and we'll be alright. Let them wait outside in the drive way next to the cars until we're finished talking businesses. Then they can drive us back home...or to the closest Popeye's chicken to celebrate our success...lol

I don't blame them at all for leaving....I think more should. I'm a little disappointed more people haven't just given up on this society. It there's any justification for why we need a "Welfare State" it's this current Pandemic crisis where it's dangerous for most people to go back to work and they SHOULD be paid to stay home. But few people are talking about that right now. Too many people are "satisfied" and content with barely scraping by, leaving on pennies, hustling and scrapping like an animal, and living on people's couches. They've been doing it for so long...hustling like an animal is all they know. If poor and destitute people stuck together and refused to work unless conditions were safe and paid much more, they would have no choice but to give the people what they demand. But too many are willing to work for scraps to feed their little drug and alcohol addictions
