ProfD In Africa, *most* of them hold AfroAmericans in the same regard as and consider us white poeple. Funny you said that.... I presume you know that Muzungu is a White person in Swahili or some sort of East African language. I go back and forth with a lady in my apartment complex from Kenya. I jokingly accuse her of loving and sleeping with the "muzungu" men (she doesn't by the way). She calls ME a "muzungu -something" I forget the exact word...which means you're not quite White but means someone CLOSE to being a muzungu....lol. I asked her was it because I'm light skinned and she said no, she said they call MOST Black Americans that despite their complexion because of their behavior and proximity to White folks

I have a conspiracy theory about it. I think that when the racists saw how much the world LOVED Black America and our music and our voices and when Black men would go around the world and the women would almost worship them for how well they could sing and dance....the racists got jealous. It doesn't fit the "narrative" that the people are apes and subhumans....but have so much style, grace, such beautiful voices and so much rhythm and control and can move and sway a crowd so well. So they set out to do several things.... 1. Make fun of R&B and promote GANGSTA Rap, basically attempting to codify criminal behavior in AfroAmerican youth and send THAT image around the world 2. Silence that golden voice that people around the world feel in love with when they heard our people sing. Infact..... Before Autotunes...there was no competition...Black Americans had the best voices hands down. Nobody could compete. Thanks to Autotunes...everybody pretty much sounds the same.

ProfD Well, if it's true...no matter how extreme it might seem or sound, it can be valid and verified. As I said to Troy "90%" seems too "well rounded" of a figure to be accurate. If you asked a person for an accurate statistic on how many Black men are unemployed in their city and they looked at you with their eyes bucked and lips poked out and said, "Half of them! 50%" Even if you knew the unemployment rate was high, wouldn't you be a little suspicious of THAT figure? Aside from the figure itself....... To assign a number that high makes it look like you're embellishing it instead of being scientific about it. For example, American men own more guns and commit far more crimes than women by huge percentage. If someone quantified it at 90% or higher, very few people would bat an eyelash. If you said American men owned 90% of the gats; although that 90% number is a little too rounded off...I'd be inclined to agree given the almost natural relationship between men and weapons. If you said American men committed 90% of the crime....I'd have the same issue that I have with the pedo accusation. It's an extreme labeling that suggests embellishment. Infact, I wouldn't say that American men commit more OR less crime in general than American women. I really can't say WHO commits the most because men and women often commit DIFFERENT crimes in different ways.

ProfD Now, you're on some patriarchal sh8t in suggesting how someone else should *quantify* their statistics. Read 90% as *most* and keep it moving You can't because it's not the same. As I said, one is more EXTREME than the other. It's one thing to call D.C. "chocolate city" because MOST of it's residents are Black; but to claim 90% of it's residents are Black would be erroneous. As I said before, nobody is arguing that men....whether it's because of reporting and documentation or as an absolute fact...commit more acts of pedo than women. MOST MORE MAJORITY Like Nicky Barnes said in American Gangster -I like THESE terms better than "don't let me catch you" or "I insist"....lol....but they are simple yet accurate. 90% is an extraordinarily high number. When you say "all" or "the vast majority" or "90%", it's more "extreme" and suggests pathology for the group in question. Outside of the act itself being pathological...when you say 90% of a given crime occurs among ANY particular group (in this case being men) it makes THAT GROUP look pathological themselves.

ProfD True, but WE aren't White, Arab, or Chinese.....lol. They often have the complexion for the protection. When Africans see another Black men from the West, they often get jealous and angry and dislike you MORE than the Whites, Arabs, or Chinese because they wonder why and how did YOU get into that position. It's kind of like the hood where they'll let an Arab or Indian open up a store and sell their products all day long but if YOU open up one they'll be demanding all types of discounts and if you don't give it to them they're ready to shut it down and go somewhere else. But working with these governments WILL be necessary for any type of meaningful repatriation project.

But one is more "extreme" than the other. And to say "most" would pretty much be factual while assigning a particular percentage to it may be less accurate.

ProfD However, we should not allow mentally challenged people to reproduce. They should be sterilized. Damn.... However it depends on WHY they are mentally challenged and if it's acutally genetic. And depending on the severity of it we may have to look into WHO is having sex with and making babies WITH a person in that condition and whether or not they should be prosecuted. In this case, a benefit is a solution to a temporary condition. Again, public housing and welfare should not be a way of life. For some people, it HAS to be. They have no choice if they can't help themselves in any other way. Especially if they're too stupid to work or do a job correctly. The problem isntoo many people rely on it which makes them unproductive to society. While I agree, the problem is housing and welfare is NOT available to them...that will generate a host of OTHER problems. -more crime committed by more desperate people. -more homelessness because of lack of housing -increased incarceration rates for those who are lazy and/or desperate and WILL NOT work regardless of situation. I beleieve any able-bodied, able-minded man who cannot afford to take care of himself is better off dead. Man.....you cold blooded, lol.

Although I understand the reasoning behind it, I can already see the various problems that would come from telling a corrupt or unstable government how much money YOU have and have access to upon entering their nation.

It's the same thing with hearing a beautiful human voice LIVE. You can listen to somebody on vinyl for years, but something about listening to those sound waves emanating from their throats live and in person. Man..... Jodeci...LIVE and in person...lol. It also means that males and society in general often TOLERATE and RE-INTEPRET sexual contact from women differently than sexual contact from men. You talk about a PATRIARCHY.... But what do you call a society that not only PROSECUTES males more for sexual crimes but also SHAMES males into not reporting being sexually victimized? And information. After reading over some of the comments in this thread, I was thinking that some of the back-n-forth between us over how much time Black property owners are willing to invest in doing their own household work may come from our different REGIONAL perspectives. Let me explain.... Most of you being from the Eastcoast (New York and D.C.) most of the Black property owners YALL knew were probably highly educated professionals with jobs in Universities, corporations, or in the government. I'm from the Midwest (Detroit); and most of the Black property owners I knew were actually working class people who scraped up enough money to buy old houses and raggedy buildings to fix up and rent out for cheap rent or Section 8. My parents actually bought property a few times but it became too costly trying to keep it up and deal with the city and deal with crazy drug addicted tenants. But here...most of the Black property owners I knew...and I mean the VAST majority...would fix things on their own house as well as the buildings they owned THEMSELVES FIRST before hiring others. Paying out of pocket usually was a last resort. ProfD Some folks can afford to pay others and spend frivolously. This is true. But it makes me wonder how long will they KEEP it with that mentality...lol. Troy They used to have music too when I was in junior high school I played a different instrument every year. Got to take it home too. Yeah, I remember you telling a story about some cat snatching your instrument and running off with it and when you caught him he grinned and claimed he was just "playing"...LOL. But man......you bring back memories. I played the trumpet in elementary school...and like you I got to take it home and practice. I was getting GOOD at that shit too! But by middle school they had canceled the programs ALL OVER the city. Same with swimming. They used to teach all the students how to swim but by the late 80s all of the highschools had huge Olympic sized swimming pools filled up with garbage and graffiti because they were no longer in use. I was watching this PBS special on funk music. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible one of the reasons cited so many bands being around is that kids got to learn how to play instrument in school when music was taken out of schools. Kids started sampling music playing records, which led to the rise of hip-hop. That's WHY they took music out of schools...as well as work-shop and home economics. Too many Black children were learning how to make money and learning how to make music and getting rich. Most Motown artists learned how to play the actual instruments in school but used their own creativity to get famous and rich off of it. White folks saw it and said, "We'll fix that". Gut the programs! Speaking of household work. It used to be back in the 70s and earl 80s, if a woman needed her stove fixed or door repaired she could go to an alley and find any wino and pay HIM (or buy him a bottle...lol) to fix it for her. If you asked him where he learned to do that, he'll tell you he learned it IN SCHOOL. They used to teach BARBERING and DOING HAIR in schools too. Took that out. Depressing..... They knew exactly what they were doing. It’s a shame, though listening to a live band is so much better than listening to some cat spinning records Maybe the good @ProfD can explain the psychology behind it but there's something about the VIBRATION from the actual instruments when you hear them live. It hit differently than when it's electronic. The horns, the drums, the piano....that sound hits you and moves your body when you're listening to them LIVE. You have no choice BUT to react to them...lol.

"And I got some family (that's what I was waiting to hear) out there I can stay with until I get on my feet" or "My boy is out there and I'm go prolly chill with him until I get on my feet" He don't want to go somewhere where he DOESN'T know anybody and has to get a job and work and make his own way. He doesn't want to actually get a job or build a business...because he could do that HERE where he is. He wants to go somewhere where he has FAMILY or FRIENDS where he can lay up on the couch, smoke weed, and mooch off of them like Snoop Dog in Baby Boy. Niggaz just running from one place to the next MOOCHING off of eachother. Looking for something already established so they don't have to do the work themselves. That's why I stopped encouraging most Black Americans to go back to African nations, because I know many of them would be doing the same thing over there as they're going over here. ....walking around in sagging sweat pants, playing on the celly, and MOOCHING off of whoever they can. Looking for somebody else to take care of the business.

ProfD A mental problem needs to be evaluated and treated properly. When I say able-minded. I'm not talking about mental illnesses like bipolar or schizophrenia; I'm talking about a man being slow, stupid, low intellect. I'm not sure how much treatment you CAN give a man who is too dumb or too stupid to provide daily bread for himself besides staying out of his way OR giving him a low skilled job that he can easily do and contribute to the community while providing food FOR him. Depends on perspective of the individual. Some folks would see roach infested housing projects, homelessness and sleeping behind garbage cans as the same thing True. Personally, I'd rather live OUTSIDE than in a roach infested home. The rhetorical question is why are people relying on public housing and welfare. Many reasons..... However we should be glad it EXISTS in this nation for those who need and want it. Public housing and welfare aren't benefits. You don't believe so? What's your idea of a benefit? FDR wasn't at fault for creating poverty but he certainly knew who was hoarding wealth. Yep...and he went after a lot of them. Among a lot of the wealthy and elite circles, Roosevelt was known as a "traitor to his class". There is actually a book out about it: The system of public housing and welfare as we know it became a thing later. It was not intended to be a way of life. I understand and I agree; however I think we should be glad and grateful that it DOES exist for those who need it. It's better than NO system at all like they have in a lot of countries where people who are destitute and can't provide for themselves basically crawl off into the woods and die alone.

If we don't like what Trump is doing we need to organize and run a better candidate for 2028 with clear goals and objectives. Straight up. This is concerning for many reasons..... It shows me that Kenyans apparently don't hold Black Americans to the same degree of respect and esteem that they hold White Americans or White Brits of White people in general. ....which is not surprising. Troy my brother, there is a price for everything. One thing I did learn an engineering school is that “there is no free lunch.” ignorance of the cost does not mean that there isn’t one. There are always trade-offs. The price/trade-off for the knowledge you gain on the internet is the GARBAGE and USELESS INFORMATION you also get with it that you often have to figure out how to separate. Don't even get me started on home-economics and work-shop classes and how they pretty much got rid of them by the time I got to highschool in the 80s. ....in Michigan atleast. I don't know about New York and other states.

ProfD AfroAmericans can live peacefully in certain African countries as long as they can afford it. Actually I prefer DUAL citizenship, just incase shit goes sideways in either nation...lol. As groups, we should be buying up land in Africa left and right and developing it and building industry on it. Not just to employ Africans but to employ OURSELVES too. Got a 19 year old nephew who can't find a job in America? Send his ass to our compound in Ghana or Zimbabwe and give him a job and room to stay in there.

Not sure of who US and WE'RE are but those programs were started here to benefit white folks. Black folks were not allowed into public housing and welfare until later. LOL...well shit may'on... CARS were invented to benefit White folks, should Black folks stop driving? MOVIE THEATERS were invented to benefit White folks, should Black folks stay out of them? Just because something was started with the intention of helping out and benefiting White folks, doesn't mean we can reap the benefits ourselves! Those programs were not intended to run through several generations. I know there are MANY factors to it. Factors beyond THEIR control. However if a mother spends most of HER life on welfare and raises her daughters and THEY choose to spend their lives on welfare and raise their children on it....who's fault is that? Is that the fault of Roosevelt who started it? Is it the fault of the Social Workers who investigate the cases? I think Kanye West's "Jesus Walks" song calls people on welfare "victims" as if somebody MADE them get on it and is FORCING them to collect benefits from it. Ok...then GET OFF and see what happens. Public housing and welfare are supposed to be temporary especially when it comes to men. It's my understanding that most men can't even get on welfare by the way. My Father used to say when he was younger men could get public housing and live in the projects; but that changed later and soon ONLY women with children could get a place.

Having worked with, lead, and organized Black Americans from different walks of life over the years, I know for an ABSOLUTE FACT that MOST FBA can be united. Not only can we be united mentally but we can be united PHYSICALLY in the same location. The key to uniting and effectively working with AfroAmericans is HONESTY....especially about one's intentions and goals. Cut out the self-righteous false-moral bullshit values that White folks have indoctrinated most of our people with either directly or indirectly. They tend to be moral hypocrites and have trained their slaves how to be moral hypocrites as well. You will NOT unite Black folks with "altruism" or "altruistic philosophy". You have to offer our people CONCRETE Benefits and deliver on them! Great Example Of What TO Do: Take the average Black man..... Sit him down.... Ask him does he want so much money and some pussy for a project feeding hungry people.... Let him know that it doesn't matter whether HE actually cares about them or not, as long as he shows up and does what he's told. If he agrees, it's as simple as that. Make sure you DELIVER on the promise you made to him and you'll have a friend FOR LIFE. Great Example of What NOT To Do: Take the average Black man.... Take his wife/girlfriend along with him.... TRY to sit them both down and talk to them (but to be real -SHE'S going to do all the talking if they're sitting together) Ask him does he want to help people, be a "good person", and do what "Jesus" would want him to do in the way of feeding the poor. Tell him that you'll pay him some money but that he'll also get a "blessing" for his good deeds He may not agree, but if he does he may not show up unless his woman MAKES him...and she can come with him. If BOTH of them show up, there's a thousand and one problems that their presence may generate and the project is likely to come to ruin. My point? There's a RIGHT way to do things and a WRONG way to do things. If you want to unite Black men, there are RIGHT and EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE ways to do it but you must do it THOSE ways. Not the ways that attract or motivate White men or Asians or Arabs or others. We're not them. We have OUR OWN nature and what motivates and moves us. You have to be honest and real. You also need to keep THEM honest and real too. ...but sitting in the corner with a sawed-off making sure the niggaz (I said "niggaz"....not Black folks) you got working for you don't steal money, fuck with the young sistaz, or otherwise get out of line is a different subject all together, lol.
