A way to cover the rest of the year, the remaining 337 days between each 28. Juneteenth represents the first major event for Black people in the USA. The reason it isn't independence day or the colonies or states is because during all those times Black people were enslaved to Whites. Whites enslaved Blacks in the lands that became the USA and during the USA itself, as a law of the land, from 1492 to 1865. So for Black people in the U.S.A. the birth of the USA didn't change the condition of Black people. Most of the Black people who fought for the independence of the colonies from the english empire were enslaved to whites in the usa after said independence. But, the end of the War Between The States, commonly called The Civil War , did represent a true change for Black people as legal enslavement, which was legal in the english colonies or the usa itself, became illegal for the first time. Lift Every Voice And Sing's lyrics was written by James Weldon Johnson while the musical accompaniment was made by his brother J. Rosamond Johnson in 1905. But I wanted to make my own personification of Juneteenth. SYMBOLISM The light in the night sky is not from a star but the planet Venus, the brightest night light in the sky, guiding the way, a symbol of Nature's protection or guidance. Juneteenth has a smiling face, happy to help her people and see them grow. Silver hair representing her elder nature. Slavery isn't bound to one moment in time, it is a timeless aspect of life. Sequentially, Juneteenth, representing the end of enslavement of Blacks to Whites isn't about one particular time. A yellow shirt representing the brightness of the soul of being free. The hands reflect the connection to the Sun, that touch all life. The bowl represents an eternal bucket full of hope, hope being invisible. Gold as the color of timeless. The symbol on it is a family: man, woman, child, fetus. Her sash is of two hands handshaking, representing Black unity Her dress represents the sea of journeys, where Black people, through all their names have found themselves oppressed, or enslaved, which supports Juneteenth with strength. Black in anglophone, Kalo in Indian subcontinent, Noir in francophone, Sakai in Southeast Asia, Preto in lusophone[Portuguese speaking] , negro in hispanosphere, abo in australia[ a slur for aborigines of australia], zwalt for dutch speaking world, abeed for Islamic speaking world. Her right hand is holding all the forebears, leading away from the bloody lands of the oppressors. The eternity symbol on the left foot of the oppressed represents the inclusion of all. The blood from the right foot of the oppressed represents all their blood which covers all the lands of oppression. The mountains in the background represent the oppressive lands of the non blacks: the Christian symbol representing all Christian countries, the White Skull representing white plus non Black lands in any continent where Blacks are oppressed, the Phrygian cap represents all European countries, the Crescent Moon represents all muslim countries. She stands on the new land, wherever it may be, leading the Blacks out of those lands. Her left hand is releasing hope to the future, invisible yet as potent as one's imagination plus will can make it.     From 1972 and 1973 , The one thing I will say about the knicks win is it showed the future of part of the united states of america. I witnessed in a city of over ten million people, more multiracial than any other city in the usa, fans of all : phenotypes[ complete grey haired with children who would be at school ] genders[ female or male] , religions [ women with hijabs on men with kippah or turbin ] wealthy level [those who are in bars with very expensive drinks to those walking in the street with a cheap beer] geographic distinctions [ asian descent, african descent, european descent ] A city where violence is not common while people keep their distance. All of the usa is not NYC. and will not be. Texas, mississippi, florida, louisiana, and all their fellow confederates will never be nyc. But, in the places like NYC in the USA a new identity is brewing.. And it is interesting how the NYPD has been fractious to these crowds. I think the law infatuated people need to figure out where they want to live. The goal of zero crime or zero illegality is impossible to achieve, but bringing down happiness with your crime complaint is very negative and i rather people infatuated with complgining about crime in a city over ten million people with only a thousand homicides, which means a hundredth of a percent of the populace in nyc. So, if you are black and feel crime is too much where you live, please leave. That is the best answer, let wherever city you live in be free of you. Don't worry , people will remember they are poor and unhappy soon enough, you don't need to bring hat sad reality into their joy. Congratulations to the NEw York Knicks. NY is the mecca of basketball, and because the Black populace of NYC made the modern game of basketball. I think the Brooklyn Nets need to change their local, Buffalo or Albany. IN AMENDMENT This post explains the true problem. The usa was never a we. Not before 1776 as white european colonies of war, killing indigenous people, notafter 1776 or before 1865 when black peoples enslavement to whites from 1492 didn't change, nor now with generations of waves of immigrants allowed in by the fisclal white rich and disallowed by said rich time and again, to weaken countries by allowing their populaces the chance to not risk war or violence and simply change settings with the caveat that wherever they came from will not be better with their immigration. The doors forced the Heroes to disperse and Diana, the Acrobat, was eaten into a desert land. This was three days ago. Now after wandering in the desert, seemingly alone, she comes face to face with a sparkling horse, absent a shadow. She approached it and the horse spoke. It called itself, Majikili . It said it had been eaten by a door many years ago and brought to this desert. It continued to explain. Said it traveled many miles for a very long time. Diana pondered how to escape when a horse had gone farther already and found no exit. She pondered and pondered and realized maybe the exit wasn't a location but a state of being. So, she talked with the Majikili , and it told her where it came from, treasures and lands she never knew existed. But Diana never asked to ride Majikili and MAjikili never offered. But when a sandstorm was approaching them from a clear distance. MAjikili offered to allow Diana to ride him and when he did, a path led away from the sandstorm to a hall inside the Maze of Doors. And Diana plus Majikili were overjoyed. Now back in the maze, with Majikili's speed and Diana's staff they fended off the few doors they met or evaded large groups of doors, till Diana reached the other Heroes, each who had gained a friend from a world through a door.
