  1. A member of AALBC made the following post, it ask some good questions but one of the problems when people look at various governments is they forget the honest history of said governments.

For example, when the war between the states ended The states in the confederacy were totally destroyed through war. What does this mean? this was a time for rebooting. Years later the kerner commission in the lyndon b john son administration suggested a reboot of the entire bureaucracy of the usa, which is legal by the declaration of independence or the preamble to the constitution of the usa.

But the south wasn't rebooted. Instead the victorious union government put in place the former overseers on the simple condition of no secessionist zeal. The problem , all the southern slaveowners/elected officials or others who were part of the confederacy mechanism were put right back into their former positions with no change to the larger bureaucratic environment of the south.

And the rest is a bloody history of black people , especially Black descended of enslaved.

Now, when world war II ended, england france/germany /italy were all destroyed by war, but the usa federal government demanded adjustments to the governments of europe and some like degaulle in france used the opportunity to reboot france. new bureaucracies, new ways. Now this meant in europe many governments had an era of peace with their new organization plus prosperity with the usa funds. aAnd that foundation laid the basis for a modern europe that doesn't act like the imperial europe before world war I where protestors would had been beaten for these acts.

What is my point? Rebooting has value. Many in the usa seem to think the usa in particular can be slowly molded into something and that is cold comfort to those who continually are destroyed by the negativity in the usa.

So, if you want certain changes in culture, you need to destroy some of the old the old heritages. You can't out last them cause they are not  human, they are ideas and ideas never grow old.
