THE KENOSHA/RITTENHOUSE TRIAL
It might start a conversation about gun control, but it will not amount to anything in places like MI. I’m surprised the parents tried to run. It makes them look as guilty as hell.

I also think many New Yorkers remember when crime was terrible and the current uptick in crime is not the direction people want to head.

Black Admixture in Non Black People Groups
I don't think anyone will live that long, it is not in our DNA. Whenever different groups of us get together we always end up killing each other and taking their resources. We can't help ourselves. The best we can do is carve our a community for ourselves in which life is tolerable, and occasional pleasurable 😉 Perhaps in 100 millennia, homo spaiens will evolve to a point where there is indeed balance and harmony across the entire species. I think the asteroid has a non-zero change of actually hitting us, we just don't want to cause a panic. Whatever came of those aliens that we filmed flying around here recently?

Black Admixture in Non Black People Groups
Abso-feaking-lutely. You don't even have to leave Detroit to see Black people who, phenotypically, are all over the map. They are still so called Black people. This become even more confusing and scientifically unfounded when you introduce the notion of "race" into the picture. There is one human race. It is best to talk about humans in terms of culture or ethnicity, these matter much more than what people look like.

OK @ProfD that was just a sanity check. There is no history between me an Stefan (that I'm aware of). His commentary, from my perspective, is coming out of left field.

Black. Female. Speed. Skater. Wins. Race
I may have to check the flick out. I bet all of us could think of at least three, non-trivial, African American "firsts." Probably worth starting another threat 🙂

Michigan Secretary of State Candidate
Please explain how I attacked you personally. Actually if you don't mind, just copy and paste the words you construed as "ad hominem." I definitely do not know what you are talking about with regard to "...former nemesis who returned to haunt you." The only former nemesis was not a true forum participant they were straight up trolls. I do not not think, nor did I ever suggest, you were in this class. I asked you why you think your memes are not wanted when I said that the exact opposite is true. Why are you so sensitive? Oh please, you clearly don't know what you are talking about, and because it is so absurd it is not worth the effort to explain it to you. Again, anyone who as paid attention to this forum, for more than 5 minutes, knows how ridiculous what you wrote above is. Which one? @ProfD, you've been here more than 5 minutes, based upon what you know is the anything that would leave you to believe that I would removed anything that Stefan has posted? If you decline to answer I'll understand, but I simply do not know where Stefan is getting these ideas. I'm inclined not to believe he is even serious. ----------------- Speaking of tech @Stefan did you know @Mel Hopkins went there?

$250 Billion Lawsuit for using Henrietta Lacks' Cells filed in Baltimore
Guest OKZ the book is now available for sale directly on AALBC: https://aalbc.com/books/bookinfo.php?isbn13=9781098307424 Henrietta Lacks the Untold Story by Ron Lacks "To hear and read constantly that Henrietta Lacks was a poor black farmer is hard to accept. Anyone that looks at her picture can tell that Henrietta and her husband David Lacks weren’t poor black farmers - they enjoyed the finer things in life. They moved from Clover to Baltimore, not out of poverty but, because they felt their children would get a better education here."

Stefan, this is the second time that I've read a post of yours implying that your memes are not welcomed here. Am I mis reading you? If not why do you feel that way? First you have to accept the fact the without a strong Black news platform you really don't know what Black people are screaming about. White corporate media loves to cover outrage over police killings and they should, but they rarely coverage Black outrage over Black crimes. Maybe they want to come across as "woke." Where crime is bad there are always Black people expressing outrage, they are just not gonna trend on Twitter or make the evening news.

THE KENOSHA/RITTENHOUSE TRIAL
Of course I do, color has nothing to do with it. Rittenhouse should have kept his butt at home and not placed himself in a dangerous situation. Age has nothing to do with the content. So you you are not familiar with "tabloid" used in the content that I used it, so I will ask you this question, are you at all familiar with the NY Post? Have you ever seen the print version of the newspaper? Again sources matter. I don't treat Twitter or Facebook as a news source, so personally I do not care that they filter news. Actually, I do care because so many people use Facebook's websites and I care about how the population is informed, as misinformed people directly impacts my life. @Mzuri, I looked at the first link you posted and the article said, "Primarily, the platform vowed to crack down on tweets that represent a 'denial of expert guidance.'" I actually don't see anything wrong with doing that. In the early days of the pandemic someone who posted here regularly, started sharing all types of misinformation that directly conflicted the science -- it was classic conspiracy rife with links to all types of sites exposing mis information and lies -- even saying Black people were immune to covid. Now I did not ban him but I challenged every lie he posted. He ultimately left removing all of his posts. Now Twitter has far too many trolls to deal with on an individual basis, so I would not blame them for reacting the way that they did. But again, we should not be seeking important information from Twitter @Stefan I just ran a search on "Kyle Rittenhouse" on Facebook and I got results.

Interesting Reaction to The 1619 Project: Born on the Water Picture Book
I just read the book. While it is a picture books, the text and subject matter are more appropriate, in my opinion, for a middle grade reader. The "born of the water" is a reference to the water we crossed to get to America. I don't think the notion is "absurd," but folks can certainly disagree on whether that was the best metaphor.

THE KENOSHA/RITTENHOUSE TRIAL
As much distain I have for Rittenhouse, If the Post's reporting about Facebook is true -- that is crazy! I would never take the word of the NY Post (or the Daily Mail) and other tabloids at face value. If I had the time, I would probe a bit deeper to find a primary source (like Facebook own words) to determine if the Post's headline is actually accurate. I think this is an important subject, but something tells me it is just typical tabloid sensationalism. #sourcesmatter

So are they racist? Is their racism our biggest problem, or it’s of something else?

THE KENOSHA/RITTENHOUSE TRIAL
I guess it depends on how one defines “all hell breaking loose.” Check out the stats associated with the graph. Also do you see a correlation between firearm homicides rates (which the graph shows) and gun laws? https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/firearm_mortality/firearm.htm

Michigan Secretary of State Candidate
We have move two parties, but not enough people choose those candidates. would it matter anyway? lobbyists would just buy out those politicians too. The system, as it is set up, is completely broken. OK and TX were gerrymandered, eliminating any influence from non-republicans.

Happy Thanksgiving 2021
- THE KENOSHA/RITTENHOUSE TRIAL
Yeah realistically we are not gonna take away the guns already legally purchased, but we can restrict where they can be carried. we helped save lives by restricting where people can smoke. we can do the same with guns- Michigan Secretary of State Candidate
I agree. I don’t believe being a Republican automatically means you are a racist, regardless of your skin color. There are plenty of people in both parties who marginalize Black people and their businesses.- Michigan Secretary of State Candidate
So, if you are white and republicans you are a racist, and if you are Black and republican you are a soulless sellout? Does that sound right?- THE KENOSHA/RITTENHOUSE TRIAL
Impossible? No we can not get ALL the guns off the street but we can get most of them off the street and reduce the number of murders. Racism will be eradicated over time. Indeed it is disappearing as we speak. It will only last a small portion of of time on this Earth in a hundred years we will look back on the concept of racism the same way we look look at blood letting as a medical practice a flat Earth. - THE KENOSHA/RITTENHOUSE TRIAL
