These type of Facebook posts just work my nerves! They usually are right at the top of my wall when I login to Facebook to check my messages, so I can't avoid seeing them. I know I'm jaded because I saw The Black Code below and wanted to laugh. One would think it unnecessary to have to write down rules that we should not go around killing and robbing each other but it is seemingly so far from the what we observe, that is it indeed laughable, and sad. Naturally, there are voices out there condemning the "black lives matter" movement for triggering the unprovoked execution of the policeman in Texas by a black shooter. Actually, the scapegoat should be mentally disturbed sociopaths who come in all colors, and anybody with an ax to grind and a gun to shoot can surface in the atmosphere of resentment and polarization that is smoldering in America. I just published a review of the new film War Room. It was the #1 grossing film this Friday, and was #2 behinding the HEAVILY promoted NWA flick for the weekend. What, never heard of War Room? Anyone who knows me knows I've been singing this tune for years. I also believe all of the issues described in this video adversely impact Black people more than any other culture in America. I know part of the problem is that I rarely hear Black folks discussing social media in this way, and I think for the most part we are largely ignorant of these issues, and don't really care to think deeply about them.
