Since Mel and Zaji have made themselves scarce, i'm going on hiatus, too. You boys can discuss amongst yourselves and exude your testosterone. Time for me to shift into the astral zone and expand my mind...
  2. I worked with a guy whose village in India sponsored his education. Or you can ask Black people to not watch movies for a year and donate that money. Factoring waste you should collect upwards of a billion. That could be the endowment. invest the proceeds. Half of te income gets reinvested the other half would go to scholarships. Fund advance degrees. Then every 10 years fund the next lowest degrees. In 30 years you should see some improvements .

He is humorous I neither know or care about Pioneer's sexual preference , orientation or behaviour. I have little common ground with K2 or K1
  4. Aw man there will not be an apocalypse. Sure they'll bomb the heck out of a small defenselessly nation, but neither will risk mutual annihilation.
  5. @Troy, very interesting, and it make sense. That Africa (Egypt) is origins of the Freemasons established in the middle ages. This goes to my argument with (European feature) White Jews, who claim to be the original Israelites. Builders of Egypt, experts with tools, and masonry. Black-skinned folks. Not White. The fraternity I almost joined Alpha Epsilon Phi, or something like that, was discouraged because the pledge involved drinking blood and pledges an allegiance to some other crap. Homosexuality, drug abuse, and female abuse was rampant. Then, the turn around and sell Black folks a privilege they stole with all the perks.

  7. I am taking a class on multielectromagnetic wave observation. Which means functionally deciphering images made from telescopes viewing electromagnetic emissions about the earth. I have already learned the important to electronic based observation. In time keeping as well as existence. In many way, the key today is not that people know but that people have tools that allow observations having a width in types, a speed in retrieving, that it allows for many things to be known. I am in a very creative mode. Skylight: More Than Meets the Eye December 2017 [The Museum’s logo appears] [RAVEL’S BOLERO PLAYS] [Clear dark sky with stars, rotating from left to right throughout video.] Under a dark sky, the human eye sees thousands of stars, and the glow of the Milky Way.] [Cloudy patches of Milky Way come into view.] Our sight is limited to the visible spectrum, but many telescopes detect light beyond that narrow range. [Vertical spectrum appears on far left, with gamma rays at top, radio at bottom. An arrow indicates the part of the spectrum currently shown: visible. Arrows moves down to infrared as sky transitions to infrared view. The band of the galaxy is brightest, with wispy features filling the rest of the sky.] The dark dust lanes along the Milky Way are transparent to infrared. Stars don’t shine brightly at all wavelengths, but we’ll show the visible stars for reference. Infrared demonstrates that the Milky Way is more than just a narrow band of light in the sky. We also see gas in nearby galaxies, such as Andromeda. [Circle marks position of Andromeda galaxy. View shifts through microwave to radio light. Circles mark both Andromeda and Triangulum galaxies, which appear as pink spots against otherwise blue-green wisps.] A different wavelength shows the gases within the Andromeda and the Triangulum galaxies, as well as our own. High concentrations of gas and dust fuel the formation of stars in the Milky Way. [Band of Milky Way rotates through view again. Shift to microwave light.] Outside the plane of the galaxy, we see the Cosmic Microwave Background. This “baby picture” of the universe shows the earliest light after the Big Bang. [Shift from microwave, through infrared, visible, and x-ray, to gamma ray light. Band of Milky Way is brightest, with bright points appears away from the band.] Gamma rays show light from high-energy pulsars and black holes in our galaxy… … as well as the luminous cores of galaxies far, far away. [Spectrum and arrow fade out. Six panels simultaneously show sky in radio, microwave, infrared, visible, x-ray and gamma ray light. The constellation Orion moves across all six, sequentially.] By examining the entire spectrum, astronomers are able to probe distinct aspects of the cosmos. We need space telescopes to see those parts of the spectrum blocked by Earth’s atmosphere. [Visible sky extends to full screen.] We see only a sliver of the spectrum— there’s much more to the sky than meets the eye. 8. Troy was actually asking to see if she was available. I need a passive woman who will do what I say, keep the house clean, cook, take care of my needs, and not give me any lip; you know a traditional woman Seriously, I did not think her personality was suited to being in a marriage -- at least not one she was not being walked all over. Is she cute? Actually........ No lie bro, she's FINE AS HELL ! Imagine Erykah Badu with shorter hair......lol. Even as a kid she was fine and slim. Normal height but very petite and "delicate" in the bones. But what makes her even more attractive in MY OPINION is her nervous like behavior which makes her seem even MORE delicate. The way she'll shy away from conflict and act nervous makes men (or me atleast) want to PROTECT her...which is attractive. I don't know if she's be a "traditional" wife but she knows how to act. I believe she was doing the paralegal thing for a long time and she knows how to act around professional people in professional situations. She grew up in the ghetto but she's not hoodish so she wouldn't EMBARASS you if you took her somewhere. I said she was divorced but I actually haven't spoken to her in years so I'm not sure if she's even back with anyone right now, but yeah.....I think you'd like her, lol. See man, THIS is why I can't "cross wires"....lol. For 40+ years she's had no idea her own cousin felt this way about her and if she came on this site she'd find out and knowing HER scared ass she'd probably avoid me from now on out of embarassment.....lol.
  9. I still find people interesting. But racism in America is an iceberg. Even whites who are against racism are against the redistribution of wealth. So the effect and purpose of institutional racism is seperate I n their minds. The thinking is as follows slavery ended and do did racism. We are all equal.
  10. I think I know what you mean Del. It is why I suggested that Harry consider stop railing against evil ministers it won't make a difference and negativity just brings you down. I'm actually trying to approach things from a positive perspective myself. Rather than focus on Black folks who would support Black business and bitching about that. I talk abut the folks that do support their own businesses. Rather than lament that fact that we give money to Amazon rather than our own business I simply work with those that get it. So you will not see be calling for a boycott of Amazon any more. I'll just work to uplift the Black owned bookstore that exist. You won't find me trying to explain to people why they need to get off Facebook. I just deactivated my account and will work with those that get it. It is much healthier, more fun, and productive to be positive rather than walking around complaining about what is wrong all the time. I like the interaction with other Black people too. @Pioneer1 is your cousin married?
  11. HELLO, CHRYSTALFLANDERS. THANKS FOR COMMENTING. IT'S EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO SUPPORT NEW AND SELF-PUBLISHED AUTHORS, AS WELL AS THOSE PUBLISHED AT INDEPENDENT COMPANIES. THEY'RE CONSIDERED THE UNDERDOGS TO THE WELL-KNOWN WRITERS WHO USUALLY GAIN MORE RECOGNITION THAN SAID MENTIONED. YET, I'M VERY AGGRESSIVE IN MY APPROACH TO ADVERTISING, MARKETING AND PROMOTION, SO I ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO GET NOTICED, TASTEFULLY: HENCE NO PUBLICIST SINCE I STEPPED ON THE SCENE IN 2003. WHEN I'M EDITING (I EDIT ALL TITLES I PUBLISH) OR CREATING URBAN AND/OR STREET-LIT WORKS (THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO), I MAKE SURE TO USE SLANG, AND EBONICS, AS YOU WANT THE CHARACTER'S VOICE AND PERSONA TO BE AUTHENTIC AND TRUE TO NATURE. THE NARRATION WILL BE IN PROPER ENGLISH, BUT IF THE CHARACTER IS HARDCORE, THEN IT SHOULD TRULY REFLECT. EDITING ACTUALLY EXHAUSTS ME, AS I NOT ONLY BECOME EVERY CHARACTER WITHIN THE STORYLINE, I EMERGE SO DEEPLY WITHIN IT THAT I BECOME EVERY ASPECT OF THE TALE, DOWN TO EVERY DETAIL AND DESCRIPTION. IT DRAINS ME, BUT I ALWAYS LOVE THE END RESULT. MOST THINK EDITING IS SOLELY ABOUT CORRECTING THE GRAMMAR, BUT IT'S BEYOND THAT: YOU HAVE TO BUILD THE STORY AND CHARACTERS, WAY BEFORE MAKING GRAMMATICAL CORRECTIONS. THIS IS THE PART I LOVE THE MOST, ENHANCING STORYLINES AND GIVING LIFE TO CHARACTERS, AND MAKING THE VISION OF THE AUTHOR'S WORK, BIGGER AND BETTER. IT'S A GUILTY PLEASURE OF MINE....
  12. I find that I am accustomed to reading a certain type of literature and even though I am not a fan of most fiction or romance, I tend to still buy it to support a writer. I put myself in their shoes. It is a work of their heart, their ingenius way of putting words on paper in their own way. I tend to write in "slang" initially when I'm trying to get my story down on paper but then when I go back and edit I will make what's typically known as "grammatically correct" edits. Instead of using "don't" I'll say do not. Instead of saying "can't" I'll say cannot. I recently purchased a book that I knew would not be my genre, but wanted to get an idea of another authors writing style and most of the writing was slang and street language which I am familiar with because I've lived that type of lifestyle in the past. I could barely finish reading the first page but I got through it. I'm still working on the book but it is very hard. I have been accustomed to reading instructional books and business books so this type of nonfiction drama is really painful for me. I know there is a story to read and it may take me long but the support of the author was my goal and not necessarily that I was interested in the contents.
