  1. About a quarter way through Travellng Soul, a biography on Curtis Mayfield by Todd Mayfield. Dipping into Jimmys Blues, a small volume of Baldwins poetry. A lovely gift from my daughter.
  2. thank you Troy, I will check out this interview, may have some good info to share at the workshops. all is well here, writing, organizing next book, doing some editing on the side (trying to find that side hustle so i can live off my retirement). looking forward to 2021 with a bunch of lit programs to plan. but all is well here in pittsburgh. checked out some of the Black Writer Weekend last week, inspiring.
  3. AALBC Bestselling Book for July and August 2020. White Fragility by Robin Diangelo out sold all other books this period.
  4. Around 15 pages from the end of The Crisis of the Negro Intellectual. Phew..... longest book I've read in a while at about 520 pages. Anyway, next up is this which I'm dieing for.
