  1. @TroyYes, i understand this, which is why I've always claimed that the black experience is different from person to person. i grew up in a small midwestern town, a suburb of Chicago in the 1930s during the Great Depression. My parents were among the first wave of the Great Migration, coming north seeking better lives for themselves. My wholesome formative years read like a black version of the comic book character Archie Andrews. I've always lived in interracial environments, all the schools I attended were integrated, never had a black teacher. Even during the Depression my parents owned their own home, had a car and steady jobs, my father as a Pullman porter, my mother as a maid for wealthy white people . And, as I have marveled at many times on this board, to the chagrin of some, in the early 1950s during the 2 years i spent at the University of Illinois, when the Civil Rights movement was coming into fruition spurred by the murder of Emmitt Till and Rosa Parks' refusal to give up her front seat on the bus, as a member of the matriculating Freshman class, i and a few other blacks integrated the women's dormitories at this Big 10 university. As a result, when blacks began their march for equality, I was living in a facility kept clean by white maids, eating in a dining room where i was served by a white wait staff. The AKA sorority house where i later lived was the only one in the entire country that existed on a white campus as, were the houses of The Kappas, Alphas, and Deltas. Yes, my upbringing was different - and possibly a lot more typical than others might think. Who has the credentials to speak for all black people?
  2. I'm a True Crime buff. I love reading about or watching re-creations of murder cases that dedicated detectives and dogged police work eventually solve. I tune into all of the TV staples on this subject: DATELINE, 20/20, 48 hours, Discovery ID, and last but not least, "Fatal Attraction", which is a black series that I watch on a regular basis. Like Maury's show, Fatal Attraction gives you a snap shot of the life styles of the black Section 8 sub culture or, in these cases, the death styles. The story lines on this show are very predictable because they all follow the same pattern. For all the black sistas out there, there are valuable lessons to be gained from watching this show. (1) if you are a vivacious, attractive, goal-oriented student whose smile lights up the room, beware of hunks with athletic scholarships in their future. When you fall for one and a week later you find yourself pregnant, forget about having the baby and graduating in an oversized cap and gown. Never mind that Big Mama and Motha Deah, are OK with the idea, and you've found an after school job to help pay for baby clothes. When your speedy running back boyfriend prefers that you bring an end to these plans, do it. Or you will be murdered. Either by him or his cousin who knows somebody who has a gun. Your body will be found in a deserted area and his other more vivacious, more attractive, more ambitious girlfriend will tell cops he was with her during the time the coroner says your murder occurred. Yes, the law may catch up with him on the campus where he's tearing up the grid iron, but it will be too late. You will be dead. (2) If you are a bright, vivacious, attractive twenty-something with plans to attend your community college to get a nursing assistant degree, and you meet this cool guy whose erection builds you up and a week later you are pregnant and, over the objections of your lover, you have the baby, beware! Don't find another guy and get on with your life, or your baby daddy will kill you. Never mind, that he has a wife and 3 kids. You his woman and no bitch walks away from him. (3)Or, - if you are a bright, vivacious, career woman who exudes confidence and you finally meet and marry Mr. Right, but 5 years later you're paying all the expenses for his extravagant lifestyle, don't tell him you've changed the beneficiary on that 6-figure insurance policy. He will try and kill you to collect on it but beat him to the draw. Slowly poison him with massive doses of Murine eyedrops, and cremate his ass. I don't like to be a killjoy. But, I'm just sayin...
  3. It's his fault: Inspired a bunch of n8gglets to look like they're from the Middle East or North Africa. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. Cynique That's right. Why waste your time? This guy is inflicted with the cognitive dissonance virus. NOTHING you say will change his mind. These anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorists are akin to cult members. And you should know a lot of anti-vaxxers look at YOU the same way. They see you as gullible "sheeple" who don't question anything but just blindly follow the rest of the herd. An equal waste of time. At this point people pretty much have their minds MADE UP as to whether they're gonna take it or not. The next step is for a national MANDATE to just FORCE people to take it against their will. And THEN things will get REALLY interesting...lol.
  5. IMO, it is impossible for China to invade America in the traditional sense. But, they have already been here for several decades in everything Americans consume. China has zero interest in invading America from a military perspective. The arrangement they have works just fine as long as both sides are getting the desired results in terms of products, services, money, power, etc. That goes for the smoke and mirror games being played on the entire planet. The person sitting in the White House is just a figure head representing America at the seat of the table in global affairs. They're not running the real show. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  6. ************************************************************************************ @ProfD We have been infiltrated by the CCP and at the rate we are going weโ€™ll probably be invaded by them in the near future. People who arenโ€™t paying attention are in for a rude awakening. Having a weak bumbling idiot in the White House is part of their plan. ************************************************************************************
  7. I find it interesting that China is used as the biggest labor force on the planet. Yet, the same paymasters are trying to make China a boogeyman too. It makes about as much sense as calling a woman a whore after sleeping with her. Now, I do believe China is prepared to protect itself if/when the paymasters decide they don't want to play fair. The Chinese wrote the book on art of war. Knowing that it would be suicide to go against the greatest military power on the planet using traditional military hardware and personnel, the Chinese are prepared to go for the jugular vein. Chemical, biological and technological weapons level the playing field. These agents can be deployed from anywhere at any time. Hacking into computer systems and spreading a virus are dry runs. The Chinese have shown how they can take down the planet if things get too far out of hand. Now, they've got folks scrambling around trying to figure out how to protect themselves from attacks they cannot see. The paymasters have the balancing act of making money and watching their backs while keeping the slaves, er, workers in check. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. It's all good. A seat belt is no fun. I prefer to ride suicide and fly by the seat of my pants.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. Lol...sounds spoiled to me.
  10. There's people who think Texas is part of Mexico, but all these people's thoughts are irrelevant. There's a thousand maps online that depict this same exact breakdown of the states.
  11. Yessir. This is awesome. It's the kinda thing that makes me proud of us. Literally paying it forward. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  12. I canโ€™t pursue this debate as you will introduce anything to make a point. As in reincarnated slave holders have taken over the scientific community to create a vaccine to kill Black people and millions more white people as collateral damage. i canโ€™tโ€ฆ. Also what is that website you shared? It is not The Guardian.
  13. Sure. Yet, no amount of comfort absolves the fact that they're still in prison. But, the idea of being comfortable while imprisoned is a case study in itself. More than likely, it runs in parallel with Stockholm syndrome. IMO, that is the greatest accomplishment of the system of racism. Folks believing they are free on a mental an/or physical level especially when buoyed by the illusion of class and/or status. Hopefully it never happens but when the police pull you over while driving a Bentley in the Hamptons and says, boy, get yo azz outta the car....class and/or status goes outta the window. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  14. Troy Many girls in my neighborhood had children in high school, Lol....were any of them YOUR children too?
  15. Cynique White Supremists can't wait to crush you like a roach. I see you've been keeping company with your NEW friends....since divorcing yourself from the Black race...lol. "Yall can't tell me nothing. My great great great grand daddy was a White slave owner from the South so this is MY heritage too!" ProfD Within a system of racism, class or status might make black folks feel better about themselves depending on where they reside within the structure until they come across racist(s) to whom none of it matters. They only see one thing. It kinda reminds me of n8gglets who come home and brag about running the prison But even in The Shawshank Redemption....Andy was able to secure some favors for himself by getting in good with the Warden and writing to the governor. Even in GREATER confinement...there are status levels that will dramatically increase one's comfort.
  16. Mzuri and after that you will go and stand in your corner of shame until Pioneer lets you come out. Sheeeyit If she's waiting for ME to let her out the corner...... She'll be waiting a MIGHTY long time, lol. ProfD I'm totally enjoying the comedy brewing in this thread Lol...Cynique ain't joking...not totally. Troy I remember when people dressed up to get on a plane. I remember when people used to dress up or dress their children up to go to the doctor's office or go to the hospital to visit a sick loved one.
  17. Fascinating @Cynique your conversation with @Pioneer1 on this subject reveals class differences between both of you. You come from a higher class than Pioneer. It is not a value judgment, just an observation. My experience growing up in the 'hood is that it is easier to end up in prison than college for a certain class of people. So, I have no problem understanding that finishing high school can be a challenge. The cool kids dropped out and hung out in the street where the action was. The kids who did well in school were teased, which stunts performance of these students, unless their is some other factor to counter it -- and their usually isn't. Our teachers expectation were low as they were not from, or had anyu investment in our community. My kids were reared in a higher class, than the one I was raised in. They did not have to do things like fight other kids, smart kids were admired, and virtually all of their peers had two parents at home. Many girls in my neighborhood had children in high school, I knew of one who gave birth in 6th grade... By the time I was an adult, some high schools provided day care for the student's children.

  19. Cynique I don't totally agree with you self-styled categorizations. Have you checked the definition of the word "aristocrat" - which is not a common designation in America. Aristocrat: A member of a ruling class or of the nobility. 2. A person having the tastes, manners, or other characteristics of the aristocracy. Definition of aristocracy: the highest social class in some countries : the people who have special titles (such as duke and duchess), Seems to me MY definition of Aristocrat lines up nicely with the definition you just provided. It's the wealthiest class of people in society. They are a member of the ruling class. The TRUE ruling class...not the figureheads you see on television. It just so happens that in Kingdoms, the Aristocrats are also the Nobility or part of the Royal Family since they control the money and wealth. Since we don't have an official "royal family" in the United States, it's divided among families like the Kennedy's, the Fords, the Rockafellars, the Koch's, ect... You're using money to define class. Money can't buy class. e.g. there's a difference between middleclass and middle income. Money isn't the ONLY factor that determines class in the United States...but it's the biggest factor. They have different value systems. There are plenty of families who aren't billionaires but whose members were born with "silver spoons in their mouths" and have inherited wealth and property, and have the "blue blood" running through their veins that qualifies them to be upper class. True. Did I say they weren't? There are 3 "upper classes" according to my Class Categorization. Aristocrat Rich Professional As of right now, a person doesn't have to be worth a billion to be considered rich in America.
