  1. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/05/20/bleach-blonde-bad-built-butch-body-crockett-trademark/73770813007/ While it could be viewed as a scene from a Mean Girls movie, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX) delivered the insult of the year at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) (GA). Rep. MTG made a comment about Rep. Crockett's eyelashes getting in the way of her ability to read. A few minutes later, Rep. Crockett crushed it when she asked a question that included the alliterative bleach blonde bad built butch body in reference to Rep. MTG.🤣 As someone who has a strong appreciation for comedy in general and the ghetto version of it (Jonin' (DC slang) or dozens), Rep. Crockett delivered a perfect 10 if it was insult gymnastics. Surely, our elected officials should be doing more than hurling insults at each other but if someone decides to go there, don't half step. Word is Rep. Crockett has already trademarked the zinger and ordered swag containing it. I approve the move. 👏🏿😎
  2. If the committee chair recognized Rep. Crockett, she could ask questions or seek clarification about Oversight Chairman James Comer's ruling regarding Marjorie Taylor Greene's behavior. "I'm just curious, just to better understand your ruling," Crockett said. "If someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody's bleach blond, bad-built butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?" She asked a question about committee members' behavior while being as descriptive as possible to avoid confusion. Rep Jasmine Crockett never resorted to name-calling as MTG did when stating that Representative Sullivan's “I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”. MTG was the only one out of place with that personal attack. #RobertRulesofOrder. Sometimes, you have to use the rules to get clarification. Bravo Rep Crockett!!! The House Oversight and Judiciary Committee still voted to advance resolutions that would hold AG Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for allegedly failing to comply with a subpoena to turn over audio recordings related to the classified documents cast against President Biden.
  3. Rep. Crockett soared like an eagle in her response to stupid azz Rep. MTG. 🤣 I respect former FLOTUS Obama's statement in general. Black folks do enough of that already. However, Black folks cannot continue the non-violent and silent treatment every time racists come for us. We have to clap back. Only way bullies will learn.😎
  4. Interestingly, the shooting was caught on nearby cameras. The shooter made incriminating statements during talk with a crisis negotiator before police got him out of his barricaded house. Yet, the article writer insisted on using allegedly when referring to the man's actions. Meanwhile, down in Florida, a sheriff responding to a disturbance call ends up shooting and killing a Black man. Granted, the young man was holding a legally-owned gun at his side. But, he didn't really know who was banging on his door. Nonetheless, the Black man opens the door, officer sees a gun and starts shooting. Everything happened in a matter of seconds. No negotiation. The sad reality is that these hateful white folks don't see Blacks as humans. They see a threat that needs to be neutralized. Black folks have several reasons for which they can hate white folks. History proves it. OTOH, I cannot think of anything Black folks have done to make white folks hate us. The only thing Black folks have done is made it through slavery and found a way to thrive. Otherwise, Black folks haven't done much of anything directly to white folks to cause their hatred of us. I believe white hatred of Black folks is rooted in guilt and fear that one day they will be made to atone for their sins against us. That judgment day is coming.😎
  5. Since everybody is technically descended from Africa, then nationality is irrelevent to the esoteric knowledge which the human brain siphons from the omniscient realm of the universe. But the same brain is also inhabited by the ego, which craves acclaim, so mankind quibbles about who should get credit for that which was just waiting to be channeled. Incidentally, the above was just a thought which my brain drained from somewhere. This has been happening to me a lot lately. It's like what my psyche would be doing if I was smoking weed. I compulsively write things. Anybody got a theory as to why, at age 90, I am experiencing this automatic writing phenomenon which usually overtakes me in the wee small hours of the night. I wonder if the keyboard on my phone is like an Ouija board... 🙄 And does anyone know anything about the African tribe who plays checkers - or maybe chess real fast because they can instantly visualize what the outcome will be if they make a certain move? Here's a picture of me standing under a tree, waiting for an acorn to hit me on the head and trigger a brainstorm, ala Chicken Little.
  6. We lived through one Trump presidency. I'm not very concerned about another. Based upon my gut, a second Trump presidency seems unlikely. The media's collective opinion, based upon years of experience is no better than mine... I called the first Trump presidency. The only wild card is that I have no clue what the impact of the gerrymandering over the past 4 years will be. Can Trump loose the popular vote by 3, 4, or 5 million votes and still win the office? I was talking about people of all races. But you know the trope; when white American catches a cold... We have a great many things to be concerned with that transcend race. Abortion laws hit poor people the hardest. The impact on education as a result of the Covid Pandenic can begin to be calculated (those chickens will come home to roost) -- again poor people hit the hardest here too. Inflation despite what the numbers and talking heads say is WAY up in every city I've visited and lived in. The cost of living in suburban Tampa has increased dramatically since I purchased a home here everything is noticeably more expensive. We have TikTok and inexpensive strong weed, so the masses are largely placated. I don't think it is a "perception" on every measure the matters the comparison is apropos. I have faith that our government will not allow Trump to become the dictator of America. Pence was just one example. Trump picked Pence for a reason and Pence stood firm when it mattered most and so did many other republicans. I think Pence deserved a medal and Trump should have been tried for treason. @aka Contrarian we live in different information silos. I suspect you are exposed to far more Trump hysteria than I am, so you are much more of an alarmist on him than I. We should be more concerned about so many guns in the hands of the public, the wealthy people (and corps) who don't come close to paying their fair share of taxes, and out impact on climate change to start.
  7. I’ve been stopped countless times for speeding over the years but much less in recent years. My Florida state drivers license actually says “safe driver,” but there was a time I was in a high-risk pool and my insurance was higher that my car. The last speeding ticket I got I was doing 74 and a 55. The ticket was $700, it was in some shitty town in the middle of nowhere in South Carolina. the officer said he could throw me in jail and actually would not let me drive the car away. Fortunately, my ex-wife was with me and she drove the car. this past weekend in Palm Coast, Florida I was stopped for doing 52 and a 35. I didn’t realize I was speeding. I was in the flow of traffic. The officer asked me when the last time I was stopped for speeding. I said I didn’t know, she asked was it last month last year? I said no it’s been years. I was carrying out of date registration documents, but the car is registered and everything else was fine. The office came back told me the expired registration was $160 and the speeding ticket was 250 but she said she would give me a warning this time and sent me on my way. Like I said, I’ve been pulled over a lot sometimes I’m completely innocent and I’ve been treated badly and the other times I was completely wrong and was treated with respect and kindness. I relate countless stories. From my perspective driving while Black is really a thing. But what I can say is that does not seem to be a correlation between the north and the south offices are individuals and behave as such. My only advice would be to comply. Don’t curse. at an officer of the law maintain your composure. telling a trooper “get out my damn way” is not gonna work. It is just stupid to do that. as far as the question at hand, I think the future for Black people is relatively good again this is relative to prior years. However, I think the country as a whole poor and middle-class people in general will be worse off. We are in the midst of a new Gilded Age. The only difference is that the poorest of the poor today are far better off than they were 100 years ago.
  8. @Stefanl've retired from telling Black folks what they need to do. Since there is no collective black consciousness, giving any such advice is an exercise in futility. I'm just a spectator, seated in the peanut gallery. For 50 years, I have somehow managed to stay under the radar. Having thus far failed in your mission to reform white folks, feel free to join me. @Delano It's hard for Idealists to accept the reality of Life not being fair.
  9. American politics has become a reality TV show. Grab your popcorn and candy and favorite beverage. Sit back and watch the sh8tshow.🤣😎
  10. @StefanAll the examples you mention, along with the cat fight between Marjorie Taylor Greene, Georgia's Congressional Representative for white trash and 2 of her black female colleagues, are a sad commentary on what America has come to. During the course of an exchange of insults in the midst of a Congressional committee hearing, one of the sistas unleashed a barrage of adjectives describing MTG as a "bleached blond," with a "bad built butch body" after the Georgia cracker questioned whether her adversary's false eyelashes would interfere with her reading a report. Of course all hell broke loose within the hallowed halls of the U.S. House of Representatives! The Supreme Court is so tarnished by its bribed traitorous conservative Republican Justices that it has lost all credibility. Elsewhere, in a show of support for their disgraced presidential candidate (who's leading in the polls,) Retrumpican officials show up at his trial for using illegal funds to pay hush money to a porn star. Meanwhile, the dates have been set for Presidential debates between 2 doddering old has-beens to determine who can - best finish a sentence. This once proud nation has become a global laughing stock! Maybe Puffy should run for president and select "good ol girl" Beyonce as his running mate. Could things get any worse? God Bless America? I don't think the good Lord got the memo. 😳
  11. @Delanoyour feedback was very on point and relevant. I did get very creative with the crystals I encircled my little pyramid with because I wanted to align them with the energy pyramids supposedly radiate. Also, I chose the screen names "Cynique" and "Contrarian" for a reason. I have always had a compulsive tendency to take the opposite and often unpopular view during discussions because I fancy myself an iconoclast. Maybe it is more to it than that. As you speculate, my unorthodox views might stem from meditation during which Ive gotten into the habit of thinking on another level. And, yes, I was excited after I got my Canon desktop word processor way back in the '90s, wĥen I purchased it on a whim after I had just acquired an OfficeMax credit card! I knew zilch about this device but gradually through trial and error I mastered it, becoming very attached to it, loving how it enabled and facilitated my book writing aspirations. It was almost like an alter ego... You have always been my Guru, Del, the "teacher who appears when the student is ready", and I thank you! 👍🫶
  12. I have said this before, you are an unconscious Magician. I am pretty sure that you arranged the crystals until it felt like they had the correct pattern or shape. Even if you hadn't thought about it in advance. I knew a wizard that did psychic healings in a room full of crystals. What you are saying is outside of most peoples concept of reality. In the Vedas it says if you devote yourself to Astrology, it will grant you powers. The same is said about meditation. I believe this is true of any task that is your devotion In your case it may be phrases. Were you excited to get your first typewriter or word processor?
  13. All of you are correct. For years this nasty White man exhibited his hatred. Oh, I did come back to post an update. Here is one: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/illinois-man-allegedly-shot-neighbor-white-woman-black-sons-charged-ha-rcna151637?cid=referral_taboolafeed
  14. @DelanoI agree with what you said about me drifting into other realms. There are just too many otherworldly things that happen to me at night, and in "dreams". And then there are the different versions of a single event that exist in my memory of the event. I wonder if I opened up some kind of a "portal when a couple of years ago I surrounded the tiny pyramid I had on my night stand with several crystals, mistakenly thinking this arrangement might create some good vibes. I just recently removed this dispIay when I began to suspect it might be dangerous. Am I crazy - or what ??? (When I re read what I just recently posted on other threads, what I was saying didn't make a lot of sense in this realm) 😵‍💫
  15. Most magic is done at night because that's when then the gap between worlds is the thinnest. @aka Contrarian there is the conscious and the unconscious, the rational and the irrational. They aren't opposite rather they are polarities that belled into one another. I think you are less tethered to the earth which means you drift into other realms.
  16. I don't known about writing phenomenon but my theory is that you're in that percentile of folks who get to exceed life expectancy in a very good and healthy way. Reminds me of my grandmother who will be 94 years old next month. Her mind and wit is still very sharp. No ailments. No medication routine. She still lives independently. Only stopped driving because she doesn't have too. I cook and host several family functions. My grandma shows up at everything and talks trash and eats and cuts up better than people half her age. @aka Contrarian , you're playing with house money at this point in the game and looking great while doing it. Enjoy. Both you and my grandma are living miracles especially compared to those seniors who who think Ronald Reagan was the last POTUS.🤣😎
  17. @Troy, of course, we know why that book would never be in every American home. True Black history would rollback and turn upside down the world as we know it. 😁 IMO, that's why it's important for Black folks to get their heads out of religion which has brainwashed and learn their true history. Knowledge of self is the real key to freedom and salvation.😎
  18. Chevdove, Black people never did count for much in the eyes of the Likud Party.
  19. Stolen Legacy: Greek Philosophy Is Stolen Egyptian Philosophy by George G. M. James It should be in every American’s home library
  20. Enjoy exploring AI. I'll let you all know when it's time to come outside and do some real work.🤣😎
  21. Check out Stolen Legacy | Greek Philosophy is Stolen Egyptian Philosophy by George G.M. James. Here's an excerpt from Chapter 1. "1. The Teachings of the Egyptian Mysteries reached other lands many centuries before it reached Athens. According to history, Pythagoras, after receiving his [23 years] training in Egypt, returned to his native island, Samos, where he established his order for a short time, after which he migrated to Croton (540 B.C.) in Southern Italy, where his order grew to enormous proportions, until his final expulsion from that country."
  22. You are most welcome! I don't have anyone to bounce off my wild ideas and questions, so I enjoy creating Chat GPT prompts. It also helps me clarify my thinking.
  23. @Chevdove Artificial Intelligence's Large Language Model can operate as a search engine (kind of), but its primary function, for now, is more of a tool to assist you in tertiary tasks. (for now 👀) "AI LLM, or Artificial Intelligence Large Language Models, are advanced AI systems trained to understand and generate human-like text based on the input they receive. They function by processing large amounts of text data and learning patterns and relationships within that data. Overall, both tools (LLM and search engines) are valuable for information retrieval and processing, but they serve different purposes and are designed with different capabilities in mind. AI LLMs offer more interactive and creative capabilities, while search engines excel at locating specific, up-to-date information on the web." As @Troy mentioned, it has made him a better coder. AI can write software code. I've had it code a brand-new website for me. Guess what? I don't know how to code. Depending on your interests, you'll prepare prompts to communicate with AI - much like the questions you would pose to yourself in deep research. For example, you would prepare a thesis statement and ask AI to share findings. For instance, I know nothing about the Chaldeans or their practices, but I started the fact-finding. Here's a link to my session. https://chat.openai.com/share/9a6b1c0a-930a-47d8-acdd-7059aff6eac6 (It's public) You can start with your primary question as a prompt. Define AI, then compare and contrast the differences between Chat GPT and an online search engine. This link contains my prompt where I ask Chat GPT to compare and contrast AI LLM and Online Search engines. Note: Like in any conversation, the best prompts get the best results. https://chat.openai.com/share/049c4047-83c0-4918-9b2d-3b4a64eba7a9 (It's public too) Also, AI will replace jobs because it works at varying levels, such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning. The latter function as artificial neural networks, which means machine learning, especially deep learning, operates like a human brain but is much faster. You didn't ask me, but I don't want any of us left behind in this next phase of emerging technology. ❤️
