  1. "Until The Lion Tells The Story The Hunter Will Always Be The Hero" I write an African American Historical Fiction series called "The whileBlack Chronicles." "If Chicago Could Talk" features a unique plot and distinctive characters. The story unfolds as the Thomas family joins the Great Migration in 1919, migrating to Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood. With a new family leader, they challenge segregation, crooked politicians, and racist police, all while gangsters fight for control during Prohibition—a story about The Black Metropolis, Chicago, The Business of Racism, and the Power of Black Families. The book will be available for purchase in July.
  2. Right. The Dems have a few folks they could nominate i.e. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (MI), Gov. Gavin Newsom (CA), Gov. Josh Shapiro (PA), The three (3) of them are in the 50s age range. Watching the debate last night, my 1st thought flashed back to when Larry Holmes beat up Muhammad Ali. Even Holmes could see that Ali wasn't all there. Larry Holmes even tried to get the ref to stop the fight in order to save Ali. I'm waiting to see how long the Dems will keep up this charade of having POTUS PJB run for re-election. They need to take grandpa by the arm and tell him to tap out. POTUS PJB doesn't look like he can do another 4 months; certainly not another 4 years. Before November, I think Dems will find a way to get PPJB to step down.😎
  3. As Obama demonstrated to do otherwise would make you unelectable.
  4. Valerie Brown was the tambourinest for the premiere of Josie and the Pussy Cats a comic girl group and one of the best mystery solving crews, and trailblazing characters in comics. The first black female lead and first regular featured black character in morning cartoons, after the Harlem Globetrotters and a Hardy Boys character which was not voiced by a black person. Valerie was voiced by Barbra Pariot, another black actress, but owes her existence to Patrice Halloway who was related to Motown’s Brenda Halloway (her younger sister). With the launch of the show which was a tv made band (alá the partridges and monkeys) the music producer and writer Danny Jansen casted Halloway. He wanted a Jackson 5 pop sound and attributing her vocals was the magic that was needed in the group. Though pressure to maintain an all-white trio which had already been featured in the early Archie Comics Halloway’s vocals with support from cartoonist Valerie Brown was born. Halloway would sing lead on many tracks. Valerie would go on to be the smart, sensible, genius of the group. Other black cartoon characters would not come for years.
  5. Yeah, I watched most of the debate. I did not find it very useful. Trump did not answer most of the questions posed and just said anything. He wanted to say whether it was true or not. I agree it was not a good luck for Biden. There was a couple times where he looked like he was ceasing up Mitch McConnell’s style. I think Trump came across better. if you ignored the flagrant lying, he clearly won the debate. I understand that this is the most expensive presidentially election ever held. That is a clear reflection of the problem with our system. I guess at the end of the day, all mighty nations decline and fall.
  6. @richardmurray look at you using all these big words (Discord). I had to look it up, and I see that it's a space to colab. Works for me as long as it's free!
