  1. Man you ain't choppin' up SHIT if you go over to a woman NOW a days talking about "cuttin' a rug"....LMBAO. That's even more old school than Troy's going up to women taking a bow and holding out his hand talking about "may I have this dance?" Them kid'll RUN your ass out the club...lol. I was out the other day and heard an older brutha talk about how he used love to "step out" with lady and go "shake his legs" at the cabaret....lol.
  2. Chev I work with some people from Ethiopia and they lovingly refer to their land as Habesha. Interesting how you talk about the association between the Habesha people of Ethiopia/Eritrea and those of India. I also find it interesting that of all of the Africans, it appears that the ones from that region tend to look the most similar to 1. Black Americans 2. East Indians I believe that many of the Habesha migrated over to India during the expansion of the Islamic Empire. But after the Roman empire times, the idols were made to be other different colors just like Saint Nicholas. During the Etruscan times, St. Nicholas was made to be Chola, Cholchian, or Cole black. But after Rome became an empire, the image changed to being made in different colors It's funny timing that you said this. I was listening to Tariq Nasheed the other day and he mentioned how St.Nicholas was originally a Black man but they changed him to White. Ofcourse St. Nicholas is where we get the legends of "St.Nick" and Santa Claus from. And just like the origins of the Cholchians We discussed their origins before but I don't think we came to an agreement on it. I said that these Colchians who resided mostly in the Black Sea and Caucasus Mountains region were the remnants of the Black soldiers who were sent up from Africa/Middle East to keep the wild White tribes contained. The so-called "Watchers" of ancient scriptures. Who were they sent down to "watch"? They were dispatched to watch the wild White folks who were banished into the mountains and keep them contained.
  3. @Pioneer1 I have publicly said this myself, in this very forum, many times. The only things i can add that I have't said before are: 1. I can't recall any black person , very popular or highly active in the government, promoting a black party of governance... meaning whether back people advocate the elephants or the donkeys or independent none say black party of governance so... what unite these three groups who tend to speak ill of each other but are all assured in no black party of governance. Black independents talk about voting issue by issue, cycle by cycle, but never a black party. Black elephants even when the party of abraham lincoln does clearly anti black things never thinks to break off. Black donkeys even when the party of andrew jackson does clearly anti black things never thinks to break off. so... conspiracy maybe, but clearly something unites those three groups all of whom tend to be financially of the most wealthy black folks 2. I think I haven't seen one quality attempt at a third party in the usa, and i think two things have to be said. First the donkeys + elephants will work together to stop a consistent third party from forming. Too fe admit this, like the elephants or donkeys want another player, they don't. Second, I do think the structure/design/demographic strategy of a third party, any third party has to be more respected. I recall the reform party. It had two problems at the end. It became too beholden to the elephants. and second, it realize how to focus on the places its won and simply be content. I do think the infatuation with the presidency and third parties is a problem overall. The black populace of the usa isn't demographically even everywhere so any functional party of governance for black people in the usa can't be a federal wide party. I jus tthink that is a simple truth that gets lost or not admitted enough. So accepting these things, a black party of governance can't be shaped/structured/designed like the elephants or donkeys. And I think that is part of the problem.
  4. I can see why Black folk would want to leave for this very reason. They don't see this voting system as an alternative. And, for so many, i have to agree. I do applaud the ones that make the effort to try for change though because I don't believe that everyone has that opportunity to leave captivity and fare good in other countries. So I appreciate the Black Americans that do fight this American system to try and bring some relief. You're right!
  5. I kind of figured you may have been posting information about them, but probably in another thread. However the set-up for that joke was so perfect; with the 9 year gap between posts and all.....lol.
  6. I couldn't be further from home. That would be an understatement. Why Does Black America Keep Voting for its own Self Destruction? You're are assuming that there is an alternative. Black people never had the rights of citizens. Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. The Native people of America fared worse than Blacks. A brief look at history and the news. Would or rather should clarify the issue.
