It amazes me that you guys still think Blacks have any power left to do or influence anything in America. With the Retrumpicans in control of EVERYTHING, the only thing any of the leaderless black tribes or the demoralized Democrats will be able to do is what the entrenched regime will allow them to do. Pioneer's delusion that America will be what Blacks make it become is beyond ludicrous. Do y'all really think those in power will concede elections to opponents if, indeed, elections are held any more. Do you really think Congress or the Senate backed up by the Supreme Court and Speaker of the House and, if necessary, the Military, not to mention the technology of the shadow dictator, Elon Musk, will pass any legislation that benefits anybody but those already in power? You dreamers seem to be totally oblivious to the reality that Retrumpicans, aided and abetted, by the Ameican Heritsge Foundation, which crafted Project 25, and also got out the vote for tRump, will take over the country. They are organized and they've got the numbers. It will take a revolution to overturn the new Reich. And revolutions take decades to get it together. Am I an alarmist? Time will tell.

After the 2024 Presidential election, many black people are using the platform to make plans for the next revolution. How the hell do you plan a revolution on a white-owned public platform that pays allegiance to white supremacists? Anyway, I wish AALBC was the premier microblogging site - Black people 44 Million strong in America; we still don't control or own a major communications platform. Sadly, going up against a Retrumpican Reich which will control all branches of the Government including the Supreme Court and the Armed Forces, will be a formidable task for the Liberal opposition. People need to understand the difference between a MOVEMENT and a CAMPAIGN Movements promote specific agendas with clearer goals (be they good or bad) than campaigns which pretty much parrot partisan rhetoric. Movements tend to be more grassroots oriented, wholistic, and longer lasting, than campaigns. While campaigns typically last less than 4 years, movements can span DECADES. Think.... CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT WOMEN'S MOVEMENT LABOR MOVEMENT While a campaign is designed to change the POLITICAL direction of a nation, a Movement is designed to and can change not only the entire political landscape but the entire CULTURE and FUTURE of a nation. Trump had...and still has...a MOVEMENT behind him! The MAGA Movement. Harris was merely running a campaign.

You're right...Black folks in America have no real power to leverage in a constructive and productive way. Hopefully, Black folks will learn from the last election that special and permanent interests motivate politicians. It's not about blind loyalty to a political party. I comprehend. You're right...without unity within tribes and strategic alliances between them and establishing goals, Blacks folks are powerless and spinning their wheels. Point taken with regard to stop telling tribes what to do as well. It's easy enough to retreat into cocoons and silos. We already do it across cultures. At last count, a little over 3 million votes separate them, and that's not by many votes since he'd been running for office since about 2014. Seriously, in the grand scheme of things, she beat his ass if you compare the time they spent campaigning. He got over 32 percent of the votes of registered voters, which isn't much since 36% of registered voters stayed home. Therefore, it appears you've found this man charismatic - More than 60 % of us did not. So, democracy is the loser here.

The OBE was different than my experience of cosmic consciousness. With cosmic consciousness I couldn't feel my body. I disappeared while awake I felt part of everything. In my mind I thought cool and then I was back in my body.

I'm not religious nor chauvinistic so I don't feel a woman has some sort of "place" behind men or shouldn't be in positions of power or ownership. However the fact that she chose to couple up with a wealthy White man and form a "power couple" is what I take issue with. And like you said, unlike those other billionaires' wives...the fact that she already had money before marrying him really says a lot about her state of mind by choosing him.

ProfD Feel free to elaborate on how AfroAmericans benefitted from USSR being a threat. In 2 regards: 1. Internationally, during the so-called "Cold War" between the U.S.A. and the U.S.S.R.; all of the nations...including Black and African nations...that aligned themselves respectively with those 2 sides benefited by getting money, weapons, and other forms of aid provided to them. Seeing images Black and African nations being more modernized with schools, militaries, and other assistance made us as AfroAmericans FEEL as if progress was really being made for our people globally. It improved our self esteem as an AfroAmerican community and made us want to connect with others of our people globally and improve our condition here in the U.S. 2. The threat of a war with such a powerful "enemy" such as Russia forced White America to atleast PRETEND to be fair and play nice with AfroAmericans and give us more rights and benefits because they couldn't afford for disgruntled AfroAmericans to push communist doctrine and collaborate with outside forces as some were starting to do. I don't see where the white male dominated system has been weakened. Case in point....last POTUS election. Like the moon, it's power waxes and wanes depending on the times. Back in the 60s and early 70s..it's power was weaker than it was in the mid 80s during the height of the Reagan Era. Then again it got weaker in the early to mid 90s. Still dominant, but weaker and stronger at times. Those "weaker" moments allows for more Black progresses.
