  1. I would guide Majors to investors or a production company that's willing to give him a chance to headline a release and rebuild his image.
  2. BLM leadership still enjoying the money grifted in 2020. Maybe BLM will come back around whenever the next tragedy happens.
  3. intelligence is not partial to one side of the brain. That's why folks are considered functionally illiterate. While they may not read and write according to a standard, they find other ways to gather and retain information i.e. learn and live productively. Many artists can sing songs or rap lyrics without writing them down. Many highly proficient musicians cannot read sheet music. They're considered musically illiterate. Their natural talent tells a different story. Scientists came up with left and right brain qualities but there are plenty shades of gray (no pun intended) in the middle.
  4. True that. The algorithms definitely feeds the bases. Nowadays, it makes sense to read several sources for neutral news and information instead of spin and opinion. MSNBC and CNN are on the ropes while FOX and other right-wing news channels are taking victory laps. It will be interesting to see how liberal media covers the next 4 years especially with the FCC breathing down their necks.
  5. We would have to quantify the number of Black women falling in love with white men. It would be a good exercise to find out those numbers too. We really don't know that it flows in one direction. I've heard Black men can go to South America and Europe and be treated like kings. Running the numbers we may find that beyond culture women of all stripes are exploring their options. Native Americans have a cultural tie that binds them. Still, their women run away from the reservation too.
  6. Reminds me of Charlie Brown and Lucy and the football. Every time he tries to kick the ball, she snatches it away and he ends up on his azz. This election, both conservative and liberal Black folks got left holding an empty bag.
  7. Fight. Escape. Which many of them did. Anything can be used as a weapon. A few brave men could have easily murdered their slave master. Sure. Yet, there is no shortage of young people in militaries around the world. They have signed up to kill or be killed. There are young, healthy people all over the planet losing their lives in conflicts and wars they didn't even start. Millions of people have died in wars.
  8. Take off the cape. Clearly, they know better. Let them be deported. Maybe they will go back home and work to make their own countries better.
  9. @Pioneer1, answering that question is a key to providing ideas. It's OK if you don't want to list it here. Just something to think about. Whatever it is that you know how do, 1) find others who are already successful doing it and 2) study them and 3) copy that which makes them successful. Many people who find success online are some type of influencer.
  10. *I* have not personally seen or witnessed a higher form of intelligence on earth. #1 because for *me* it's about what one can *do* (physical) versus what one *thinks* (mental). In my mind, I can grow the most beautiful garden with every type of fruit and vegetable in it. But, it's not until I dig in the dirt, plant seeds and water it that I'll have a garden capable of producing fruits and vegetables for consumption. Stop streaming bro. Getting older also means it's time to start thinking about minimizing exposure to the grid. Technology can be a blessing and a curse.
  11. I wonder if the Statue of Liberty is going back to France. Maybe she's fleeing to Canada. In other cabinet news, POTUS OJ is considering Sen. Bill Hagerty, Kevin Warsh, Marc Rowan and Scott Bessent. The expected color candidates.
  12. Sure. The money would be inconsequential to aliens. Humans hiding information may have a financial incentive. Militaries usually train for human conflicts. Unless there is a special branch of military with access to alien technology, I doubt that will be ready for war against an alien invasion. Right. Since 2007, the US has created agencies, Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) and UAP Task Force (UAPTF) to investigate UFO/UAP related events. I wonder if these programs will be on the chopping block once DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) is stood up under the new POTUS administration. My intention was not to elevate human beings from an arrogant perspective. Just recognizing humans as the highest life from what I know. Before I can believe anything, I have to *see* it for a myself. Even as an old man, I have to rely on the senses I have left. Considering the amount of time I have remaining on the planet, it really doesn't matter one way or another. The younger folks can handle whatever shows up.
  13. Well, some thought all human beings descend from a life form that crashed landed on earth by way of cosmic debris. Then, some believe spirits take on new bodies when death occurs. IMO, the ability to think, reason, create and fantasize put human beings at the apex of creation. I'll continue believing human beings are the most advanced life form until a higher former of intelligence makes itself known as @Pioneer1 mentioned.
  14. Follow the money. Gotcha. Hopefully the military won't spend too much time worrying about it. Even the Russians are hiding and keeping aliens under wraps too. I'd imagine it would take a level of cooperation between countries to keep those secrets.
  15. Some cabinet picks have already been made within the new administration. So far, it doesn't appear Sen. Tim Scott or Rep. Byron Donalds who spent a lot time kissing the ring will be selected for a cabinet level position. Those two dudes are not even being offered made up appointments like Secretary of Azz Kssing (SAK) or Ambassador of Housekeeping and Janitorial Services (AH&JS). Of course, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy have been appointed to a made up agwncy...DOGE Department of Government Efficiency). There's still time for POTUS OJ to bring In a few token Black folks as he did the 1st time around. Otherwise, it's beginning to look a lot like a white cabinet.
  16. Facts. Being well read can make people more knowledgeable, better in conversation and interesting instead of dull and boring. As I mentioned in another thread when this came up, it's even more amazing that R. Kelly became a successful artist, songwriter and music producer despite an real or perceived shortcomings in his literacy.
  17. Right. Human biology has not changed in terms of physical and s8xual attraction. Human beings are designed to procreate. Regardless of attraction, a fertile man and woman from anywhere on the planet can get busy and reproduce another human being if they so desire. I don't believe Black women are falling in love with white men all of sudden. Black women are exploring their options. Whatever it entails, the fact remains that a man has to be attractive in order to lock down a woman of any color. Maybe it would be worthwhile to 1) ask Black women what they find attractive about white men or 2) ask white men what they have that make them more attractive.
  18. AfroAmericans should not have to be forced into taking care of themselves. We should have the initiative and desire. We don't have to worry about racists if we're already powerful and standing on business. I hope that AfroAmericans will learn a lesson from the last election. Vote for politicians who are willing to put money in their pockets. No confusion. Being prepared for war is paramount. Fear doesn't win. There is no honor in being a coward. People who are afraid do not stand or fight for anything. They have to deal with whatever the enemy chooses to give or not. From other posts, you've alluded to living in prison with some benefits as a better alternative to death. That's your VGQ. Clearly, the folks in the Middle East do not share your position. Same goes for the Ukrainians and other groups of people who fight for their principles, beliefs and freedom. White folks look at war, death and destruction as the cost of doing business to maintain power.
  19. Not a good idea to get them stirred up. They might burn a building down.
  20. True that. Fair enough. In this thread, we'll stick to aliens as the most potentially clear and present danger. Despite their reluctance to spill the beans at congressional hearings, we should trust the miliary has the situation under control because all h8ll hasn't broken loose in a public location. Now, I'm wondering if the incoming administration will allow the GOP-led congress to continue the UAP/UFO hearings or redirect them elsewhere.
  21. i do not believe boring or slumber is the issue. The forum does include Economy in the title. However, in the time that I've taken up a seat in my easy chair here, I do not recall economy discussions to the degree above.
  22. Brotha @frankster, I appreciate you giving aliens credit for being advanced enough to travel across space and time and crash land on earth without being detected while also attributing the human element *but* sh8t happens. If such is the case, It is almost unfair to question folks believing in aliens, sky fairies, Santa Claus, unicorns, mermaids, etc.
  23. Neither political party is putting money into the pockets of Black men. An open racist definitely won't be offering tangible benefits. The question is what makes a racist an enemy and under what conditions or circumstances is there a declaration of war.
  24. That rationale is why some folks considered slavery a choice. Most groups of people are loyal to their tribe.
  25. Times change from one generation to another. Age, environment, technology, etc., are factors. Cable TV and the internet have shrunk the globe. People *see* things differently. There was a time when people never left the place they were born. They lived, married and raised their families within a small radius. Again, it helps to know the age range and maturity level of women to whom you're referring. I dont see too many mature women falling for that act or look from a man of any color.
