Not quite. A business cannot if there is no competition or threat of it. Government agencies. Not businesses. They don't produce and/or sell anything in competition with free market. The US military provides security services around the world but it doesn't sell anything for profit. The government prints money and spreads it throughout the economy. Absolutely. One has to do whatever it takes in order to survive. 😎

A monopoly keeps other businesses from getting off the ground. It runs counter to a free market system. Microsoft had become a monopoly until the government got involved. The government (state, local and federal) provides jobs and housing and other benefits but it doesn't start businesses. IOW, government doesn't produce and sell products, goods and services. It buys from the free market like everybody else. I try to keep the monopolies from using my posts to generate revenue. 😁 Black businesses face a number of hurdles in order to succeed. Black folks always have to better than their competitors. That's why it's important that Black folks become more self-sufficient and vertically integrate in order to lift each other especially in order to build generational wealth. 😎

Don't become gun shy now.🤣 For the most part, nobody's trying to drag Black folks into giving an opinion one way or another on this conflict. We've been on code in staying neutral and silent. Not our fight. However, a branch of Black Lives Matter caught some flak for supporting the Palestinians.😎

Yep. I've heard the same thing about from people who know him too. It shows in his prolific body of work musically. He also wrote for other artists too. I think former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson's facial tattoo started a trend especially among Hip-Hop folks.

The US was built on capitalism which has its good and bad. The US government doesn't start businesses to compete with a free market system. That's why there's no universal healthcare. Affirmative Action helped a lot. Despite being publicly traded, it's still a privately-owned company. They don't have to hire anyone. Case in point...these college kids protesting that conflict in Israel could end up not getting a job if it can be proven that they went against the grain. There's a difference between a publicly traded corporation (stock exchange) and a public entity. Shareholders have a say but not the average person. G88gle is still privately-owned. The local library is publicly owned. Citizens have a right to sit in the library all day without paying as much as attention. Asians and Latinos have entire enclaves of businesses that belong to them. Chinatown is a great example of it. There are a handful of Asians in high tech companies but they aren't deep in white corporations. Latinos mostly work in the labor sector. Black folks don't have to self-segregate in order to be self-sufficient. Many of our people have been dependent on the system of racism white supremacy for so long that they wouldn't know how fish if it was a video on their smartphone. 🤣 Black folks have been trading their labor and intellectual capital to enrich others for way too long. Too many of our people are still slaves to wages.😎

Dr. Tyson has a really nice gig as an astrophysicist. Getting paid to talk about the solar system. I can imagine why he isn't willing to offer any wagers.😁😎

I believe the *winners* in those particular situations definitely consider it acceptable. Look no further than colonization here in the US and Australia. Entire groups of people wiped out for land.😎

White folks aren't going to let that happen. In fact, White folks don't seek out employment in Black businesses to promote their own folks or straighten it out. If anything, white folks will work in a Black business long enough to figure out what makes it successful. Those same White folks will quit that job and start their own version of the same business. Black folks would be better off investing in our smartest people to come up with an alternative to Google. Black folks need to get out of the business of begging white folks for jobs, promotions and fairness and providing every crumb of their daily bread. It's Just a matter of time before white folks pull the rip cord. Black folks do not have an infrastructure of self-sufficiency in place. We need it badly.😎

Lil Wayne must see himself as a canvas and he's never met a tattoo artist he didn't like. There's no good explanation for tattooing a whole face. I don't care how it looks in the before pictures. People don't realize how unsightly those tattoos will be if/when they make it to old age.😎

As an FBA/ADOS, I'm neutral on this matter. Nobody lifts a finger to help us. But, I'll write this... The US gov't could ask Israel to cease-fire and spare Palestinians. Instead, the US is in the process of sending $14.5 billion in military aid to Israel. That's confirmation of which side of the conflict they've taken. Palestinians had to know these days were coming when they allowed Hamas to make Gaza their base of operations. The best thing Palestinians can do is leave before Israel levels the whole place. Israel isn't interested in prisoners or hostages or refugees. No two-state solution. They want the whole thing now. 😎

If you've noticed, I do not get into what Black tribes and leaders of the past should have done. History cannot be rewritten. However, we can use history to redress America's original sin of slavery as it relates to our AfroAmerican ancestors who suffered as slaves and to collect the debt America owes us. The system of racism white supremacy is a by-product of slavery. It needs to be dismantled too. 😎

No surprise that Google has a monopoly on the market. Microsoft laid the groundwork back in the 1980s. Consumers allow these companies to grow into behemoths. Altruistically, it would be awesome if the monsters played nicely with the "little guys". Everything is about 1) making money and 2) anti-Black social engineering/messaging. The question to ask is why is Google allowed to be free-range.😎

Black tribes in the USA have a unique history. There is a common root cause of division among them. It begins and ends with Black tribes 1) acknowledging/agreeing the system of racism white supremacy exists and 2) figuring out how to dismantle it. Regardless of where Black folks are on the planet, until they deal with the cancer that is racism white supremacy, everything else will be a source of consternation and confusion.😎

Regardless of the tribe to which Black folks directly or indirectly belong, hate among them is an unnecessary impediment to progress. Especially when all Black tribes are subject to hate externally regardless of whether or not they believe and/or accept it. 😎

As it sometimes happens, we're in agreement. My main concern has always been my tribe...folks who think along similar lines as it relates to ADOS/FBA and with regard to dismantling the system of racism white supremacy. 😎

PBT brilliantly explained how white folks will continue to get away with this sh8t. Black folks in every aspect of law enforcement wouldn't make a difference in these situations either. Again, the laws do not apply to White folks. Not to the same extent as non-white folks and especially Black folks.😎

Now, I have wonder if this is that situation where folks see and hear things at the end of their lives. The obvious answer is that a Higher Power clearly doesn't give a sh8t about AfroAmericans as a group. It's only been 400 years and counting.😎
