  1. It remains to be seen what Rep. Jeffries will do when he gets behind the wheel. My gut feeling from hearing him speak is that Rep. Jeffries will be busy towing the party line and working on behalf of all Americans. Rep. Jeffries won't have time to focus on Black issues especially considering there's no agenda (reparations). Often times, Black folks think politicians can solve their problems. That's not what they do. Politicians manage government resources and they come up laws and legislation to make life easier for citizens. Black folks need to put something on the table. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  2. Very Cool. Either brotha Troy didn't mention anything about sitting on that WSJ panel or I missed it while clowning about big forehead Ethiopians. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  3. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries is stepping up to the plate to become Democratic Minority Leader in January 2023. House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi will be stepping down as Democratic leader. The GOP will take over the House in January 2023 which more than likely means Rep. Kevin McCarthy will become House Speaker. Otherwise, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries would be the 1st Black person to hold the Democratic Minority Leader position. At 52 years old, Rep. Jeffries would also mark at generational shift in Democratic leadership. Right now, octogenarians run the show...House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (82), Democratic Majority Leader Rep. Steny Hoyer (83) and Democratic Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (82). Of course, the POTUS will officially become an octogenarian this weekend (November 20). He will need all the help he can get when it comes to fulfilling his agenda. Under Rep. Jeffries, hopefully, younger leadership in Congress will have fresh ideas and be able to reach across the aisle and get more things done. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. Oh, I know as AfroAmericans we haven't demanded anything of the Democratic party. Just loyally going along with their program. Reparations should definitely be a top 3 agenda items for AfroAmericans. That would let AfroAmericans know where we stand both with the Democratic Party and within the system of white supremacy. That victim mentality definitely leaves AfroAmericans afraid to demand or ask for anything from the Democrats because they really don't want to hear the "h8ll no, we're not going to entertain those issues." But, AfroAmericans cannot remain loyal to a political party that has little or no incentive to do anything on their behalf. Osmosis and wishing doesn't work either.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  5. That's why I often type that both parties are two sides of the same coin especially when it comes to AfroAmericans. The GOP flat out doesn't doesn't give a f8ck about AfroAmericans and the Democrats treat us with benign neglect. The Democrats beg for AfroAmerican votes during election time. Then, they skeet on the sheet and fish-tail out of the parking lot after the deed is done. They've been f8cking AfroAmericans for a long time. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  6. H8ll, AfroAmericans would do well to pay closer to attention. Unfortunately, Dave's comedic genius goes completely over the heads of folks who would rather listen to Kevin Hart.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  7. @Pioneer1, you're right. The day n8gglets clean up and act right, the beneficiaries and stakeholders of white supremacy would lose their minds. Jaywalking, littering and smiling would become criminal offenses for AfroAmericans. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. True. Sadly, AfroAmerican news anchors get on TV and report from their POV. Of course, their media paymasters won't let them report anything different. Then, there's the Uncle Tom n8gglets like Charles Barkley and Shaq to name two who get on TV and snuggle up to and cosign the same BS white supremacist POV. They threw Kyrie Irving under the bus before the engine started. Too many lost n8gglets. No code whatsoever. You may be right in closing the doors and pulling off without them.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. My problem with Democrats is that they don't put up a fight for much of anything even when they are the party in power.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  10. Hilarious that people with the biggest foreheads on the planet have a nerve to be prejudiced against their fellow Africans.๐Ÿคฃ You'd think they could put their heads together and solve some problems. Nope. Too busy showing off because they have lighter skin.๐Ÿ˜ Amazingly, western media does not provide these African and Caribbean conflicts with the same coverage as Ukraine.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  11. Brotha Tariq Nasheed keeps it a buck both in breaking down the compromised Black folks (pawns) and wayward n8gglets (dusties and hoodrats). ๐Ÿคฃ Yet, we have to give Mayor-Elect Bass a chance to lead. Until there's a mass exodus out of LA and/or we groom better representatives, she's all we got over there right now. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  12. Separation and benign neglect would be the easiest way to deal with the wayward negative element. However, since I don't give up too easily, I believe it would only take a few good men to corral the wayward. There's always intelligent dudes with street credibility who knuckleheads respect. Just a matter of incentivizing them to wrangle up the rest. Not very different from what the Nation of Islam did. They cleaned up a bunch of wayward brothas and sistas and gave them a sense of belonging and purpose.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  13. I was glad when she got the job. She's excellent in it too. Dealing with the press and spinning some of the BS narratives coming from the White House is not as easy as she makes it look and sound. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  14. That's why I try to binge watch The Chappelle Show collection at least once a year. Comedic genius. Oh yeah...he's also from Washington DC too.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  15. Democrats would have done more to help Gillum if they really wanted him in the seat. They know how to spin stories and sweep dirt under the rug. I don't know what political aspirations the current Secretary of Transportation (SoT) has but if he decides to make another run for POTUS...the Democrats will embrace the fact that he's a member of the alphabet soup community and make it a non-issue. Interestingly, the media talks to the SoT more than any other Biden cabinet member with the exception of the Secretary of State. VP doesn't get too much media airtime.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  16. I wonder if you meant 2016 election. Democrats won in 2020. Otherwise, I see a pattern where massive fraud occurs every 20 years.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  17. The change has to start with AfroAmericans...Black men specifically. We already know the deck is stacked against us. It does not makes sense for some of our very own people to do more harm than good. When Black men do a better job as fathers, brothers, mentors, warriors, etc., we can bring about the change we wish to see throughout the entire AfroAmerican community. This is a very tall order because there are bunch of wayward, emotional n8gglets running around out in these streets who don't care about their own lives or anybody else's. We have to get them in check first.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  18. Judicial and law enforcement folks should be held to a higher standard because their actions or inactions do affect people's lives in many different ways. There needs to be better psychological evaluations and periodic checks and balances on judicial and law enforcement personnel who've been entrusted to protect and serve citizens. Regardless of her *excuse* for mistreating folks and racking up complaints, in addition to being removed from the bench, that judge should be forced to do 10 hours of community service for every legitimate complaint against her. The worst person to put in charge of people with problems and/or handling them is someone who has their own problems.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  19. @Chevdove, it's not about the racist who said it 100 or more years ago. More importantly, it's that the predicament of AfroAmericans remains relatively unchanged especially as white supremacy uses other groups of people in trying to keep us on the bottom. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  20. Right. It's not tyrannical. Nor does it make people want to work there. If the company isn't losing money, the employees must be working well from wherever they're located. It's a social media platform company. They're not making widgets. The product sells itself. Musk is just flexing and smelling himself unnecessarily. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  21. Looks like Rep Karen Bass will be the 1st female Mayor of Los Angeles. Her opponent spent $100 million of his own money in a losing effort. Hopefully, Mayor Bass will be able to make a difference in reducing crime, homelessness and unemployment in the city of angels. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  22. @richardmurray, the GOP field of candidates will probably also include folks like Larry Hogan (MD governor), Mike Pence (former VP) and Mike Pompeo ( former secretary of state) to name a few. Still, either dumb (DeSantis) or dumber (Agent Orange) will top the GOP ticket. Reality might refute my opinion but the internet will not disclaim my position.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  23. Post the mid-term elections, I believe Agent Orange may be losing some of his stranglehold on the GOP. Just the other day, Senator Mitt Romney called him an albatross around the neck of the GOP. Not having to rely on former POTUS 45s fund-raising machine and endorsement, the GOP may be looking for candidates who are more conservative than toxic. From the way he has governed Florida through the pandemic and everything else to handily winning re-election without an Orange endorsement, Ron DeSantis is catapulting himself to the top of the GOP party ticket in 2024. DeSantis is a more polished version of Agent Orange. He's smarter and less narcissistic which actually makes him even more dangerous as it relates to keeping the country divided. White nationalists will be happy with DeSantis. People of color will be treated with benign neglect. DeSantis has a better chance of beating Biden too. He's younger and sharper than POTUS PJB. DeSantis will be able to pull in white voters both Democrat and Independent as well. White folks flip from Liberal to Conservative and vice versa to their benefit. They are not as loyal to the same party as Black folks. White folks on both sides of the aisle really want their guns, stricter immigration laws, no abortion, no teaching Critical Race Theory in schools, etc. So far, DeSantis has put his foot down on all accounts. He's busing immigrants to other cities, upholding anti-abortion laws and hawking the educational system and making fun of Disney. As governor of Florida right now, DeSantis is auditioning in real-time for POTUS. White folks will continue to watch how he runs that state. As long as DeSantis ' governance mirrors their belief of a greater America, he will be at the top of the GOP ticket for POTUS and most likely to crush any Democratic candidate including the incumbent POTUS. Of course, everything I've written here is in my opinion. I'm not endorsing the guy at all. Just calling balls and strikes as I see them.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  24. In the latest news, Musk is demanding that Twitter employees "commit to extremely hardcore work" for the company or else they will be fired. He's also ended remote work. Reads like that dude is planning to run a cult or dictatorship.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  25. IMO, losing to Ron DeSantis in a primary is the best chance of keeping Agent Orange from becoming POTUS again.๐Ÿ˜Ž
