Can you give a reason?
A commitment to the military will pay for that child's college education. The parents end up saving money. ๐๐

Biden Continues Move To Turn Government Into Drug Dealers with free Crack Pipes
I'm in agreement with that approach as long as it's fair across the board. ๐

The Negro Problem Revisited
First, it isn't my style to insult or attack anyone on a forum, therefore I have not stated that anybody is inferior. Nor am I suggesting that I've made a discovery that others do not understand. However, as a victim of the system of white supremacy, I'm qualified to state that it does exist. It doesn't require a whole lot of digging to unearth it.๐

Biden Continues Move To Turn Government Into Drug Dealers with free Crack Pipes
My solution is to eliminate mandatory minimum and other sentencing guidelines that disproportionately affect AfroAmericans. Provide AfroAmerican offenders with the same alternatives to prison as afforded to whites. ๐

That false equivalence still does not address the disparate treatment AfroAmericans receive compared to whites for the same offenses.๐

The Negro Problem Revisited
Unlike the fairy tale that religion promotes, the system of white supremacy is on full display. There are many people who either fail to understand what it is and how it works or they choose to bury their heads in the sand and/or walk around wearing rose-colored glasses.๐

Biden Continues Move To Turn Government Into Drug Dealers with free Crack Pipes
I know a helluva lot more about it than I can share on a public forum. The disproportionate number of AfroAmericans stretched out for non-violent drug offenses, triple strikes and RICOs is ridiculous. Again, AfroAmericans do not own the boats, planes, ships, trucks and other forms of transportation responsible for bringing drugs into the US. Yet, AfroAmericans are responsible for taking all of the charges that comes with distribution and usage. American Presidents starting with Richard Nixon through Bill Clinton insured that drugs would destroy the AfroAmerican community. ๐

The Negro Problem Revisited
False. I'm a huge proponent of black self-sufficiency, excellence, pride and awareness. In the same way that Jews will never let anyone forget about the holocaust and/or come at them sideways, I don't believe black folks should ever believe white supremacy does not exist. ๐

Biden Continues Move To Turn Government Into Drug Dealers with free Crack Pipes
Reads like a deflection from the disparate punishment for blacks versus whites for similar offenses. Rome doesn't have anything to do with AfroAmericans in the US. Black mules are not responsible for bringing 98% of the drugs into the US. ๐

Did the Bible Sanction Slavery?
I do not believe a God would sanction slavery but rhetorically, I do wonder why it would be allowed to exist among the supposedly highest form of intelligence. ๐

Biden Continues Move To Turn Government Into Drug Dealers with free Crack Pipes
AfroAmericans are incarcerated in state prisons across the country at nearly five times the rate of whites. AfroAmericans do not have the resources to bring drugs into the US. Yet, we are disproportionately incarcerated for it. SInce the late 1970s, the US prison industrial complex has grown exponentially; built on warehousing AfroAmericans for mostly non-violent offenses. ๐

The Negro Problem Revisited
No doubt. There is a common denominator of all non-white people on this planet. Culture, religion, status, class and other distractions keep folks from dealing with it.๐

What type of leaders do we need?
There is no shortage of smart, successful and hardworking Black men and women in various areas of human activity who could be leaders. If those individuals are willing to be beacons of light, inspiration and motivation to the masses, they should be given a platform to shine. Young black people especially need to see positive black role models everywhere they turn starting with their parents and extended family, in their communities, on TV and beyond. Technologically, Black folks have the tools to broadcast positive leadership. Again, we need to stop wasting so much bandwidth on negative images, materialism and consumerism.๐

Police Crackdown on Peaceful Ottawa Anti-Mandate Protesters: Is Black America Not Getting The Real Message Here?
The peaceful Ottawa protests were anti-mandate. The truckers didn't like having their freedom infringed. The police were called in to get that money rolling again. ๐ On top of the same issues that affect whites, black folks have to deal with a totally different level of azz kicking.๐

Why Are Some High-Profile Blacks Now Committing Suicide At An Increasingly Alarming Rate?
Regardless of his motives, Rev. Al Sharpton has taken on a leadership role and has been showing up on behalf of AfroAmericans for many decades. ๐

What type of leaders do we need?
@Delano, great question my brotha. Athletes, entertainers and gangsters have become defacto role models for many AfroAmericans. Yet, very few of them use their platforms in a constructive manner. We need to pay more attention to ordinary people doing extraordinary things in business, education, politics and making a difference in their communities. We need to stop wasting bandwidth on celebrities and other n8gglets doing dysfunctional sh8t. ๐

Professional Black Sports Figures | Can Anyone Find The Smart In This?
Unfortunately, many black folks are afflicted with the disease of materialism. Gross consumerism is the opiate that boosts self-esteem and makes them feel better about themselves. OBJ is just one of many rich AfroAmericans giving the money back instead of investing it towards building generational wealth. OTOH, there wouldnโt be any poor or starving people in the world if human greed didn't have a stranglehold on it.๐

The Negro Problem Revisited
The cultural differences between black folks do not make it impossible to find a basis in unity. However, it has to be taken into account because culture and experience do shape how people deal with each other. I'm working through it in my own family. Some of the older Africans have to be reprogrammed in how they view AfroAmericans. The Americanized Africans not so much. ๐๐

Is it hard for black people to find hobbies?
Read and travel to gain exposure to different ideas and places. Take a class. Try something new. Still being a relatively young person, there are plenty possibilities. Open your mind and a passion might pop up. ๐

The Negro Problem Revisited
The phrase people of color is not offensive because it encompassses folks from all over the planet. IMO, AfroAmericans need to build better connections among themselves before reaching out to other groups of people. Africans have a whole continent and still have problems getting along among themselves. ๐

Black. Woman. Uses. Skin. Bleaching. Cream. ???
Black folks artificially lightening their skin has been ongoing for many decades now. Unfortunately, whether being light enough to pass for white and/or getting close to it has always been a road some black folks have been willing to travel in order to gain acceptance. It does not help that some black men prefer lighter-skinned and/or white women too. Sistas aren't blind. So, they have been lightening up their skin and straightening their hair too. As an AfroAmerican man unapologetically content in his own blackness, every chance I get, I complement my sistas who embrace their shade of chocolate and natural beauty too. ๐
