https://www.newsweek.com/eric-adams-says-cooks-dishwashers-dont-have-academic-skills-sit-corner-office-1665609 The comment Mayor Eric Adams made in the linked article will make him look arrogant and condescending. Not the best way to gain the respect and trust of the workforce and people in the city he serves. He's still new to the job. I'd imagine his PR folks will polish him up a bit.

There is something wrong with a picture where educated folks have to leave their home country for better opportunities elsewhere. I thought the purpose of being educated was not only marketability but paying it forward and creating opportunities for the next generation. We need to do better of job in teaching our folks how to create employment instead of looking for it. Merely having a j-o-b often means being Just over broke. Now, I can type from a personal perspective that creating opportunities and getting my folks to take advantage of them is not an easy feat. Regardless of education, some n8gglets don't really want to work. Nonetheless, we should not allow hurdles and obstacles to kill our entrepreneurial drive nor force us to relocate to another plantation. There is no greener grass.

@Troy, vaccines have played a part in increased life expectancy along with other medications, better sanitation practices, food processing and storage capabilities and other technologies. Slow down...900k deaths out of a population of 335M people doesn't drop US life expectancy to any significant degree. Personally, I do not know of ONE person who has died of the achoo virus. I know many folks who have survived it though. In fact, millions of unvaccinated people have survived the virus. Not a knock against the vax whatsoever. Just stating the facts. When I wrote the virus and vax is a form of a population control, I wasn't referring to deaths. This current exercise is a form of population control from a mental and physical perspective. For many decades now, they have been controlling population through diseases, foods, medications, etc. Now, they are opening and closing businesses at will and telling folks where they can and cannot go and what they must do. There is no incentive in killing off too many people at any given time. Reducing population requires a delicate balance in order to maintain status quo. For example, take senior citizens in the US. Because of increased life expectancy, old people are a huge drain on the social security system. But, as long as they have health problems, they need medications. Drum roll.... Big Pharma is the modern equivalent of oil. There is a lot of money in selling "legal" drugs. Medicine sucks the finances out of old people and redistributes the weatlh. Wealthy folks are running the world into the ground. World leaders are mostly comprised of greedy people who will do their bidding in order to line their own coffers. Always watch their hands and follow the money.

As mentioned in another thread, the virus and vax is a form of world population control. It's not aimed at one group of people. It's aimed at all of humanity. Using the fear of death, world leaders are controlling how people live, work and play. When you can force people to put a foreign substance into their bodies, the sky is the limit in what you can make them do. I cannot give a definitive date on when this exercise will be over but rest assured that human beings won't put up with it indefinitely. At some point, folks will accept the reality that we are born to die. The question I have is how long do folks think they're supposed to live. Father Time is undefeated when it comes to putting a year on the other side of that dash on the tombstone.

The irony of being an AfroAmerican politician is that they are powerless in the grand scheme of things. It's reminds me of a Chess game. A pawn is expendable until it's lucky enough to become a more powerful piece. In order to do so, it has to matriculate to the far end of the board which is no easy feat. Knowing that AfroAmericans have no real agenda in America, they're allowed to become politicians because they cannot make any changes that benefit themselves and/or upset the apple cart of white supremacy. NF Jr. brilliantly articulated it when discussing former POTUS Obama. The most hilarious part was when he said if/when white folks decided they were tired of him being POTUS, they could have walked into his office, stripped him of his title and relegated him to being a janitor, Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that AfroAmericans should not aspire to higher political offices. I think they should be realistic about the challenges they face and the bidding they will do. I wish Mayor Eric Adams well in leading NYC. It's been a few decades since they've allowed an AfroAmerican to sit in that chair.

@Pioneer1, as of today, they're still encouraging folks to get jabbed and boosted and tested. They've got long lines of folks waiting to be tested before they can go back to work or school. They are sending out home test kits. The reality is that EVERYONE will be exposed to the virus. Some folks will feel nothing, others will get sick and unfortunately, some folks are going to die. That's how viruses have always worked. This one just happens to be a man-made virus. As you mentioned above...it's all about population control. Not just in terms of reducing the number of people on the planet. More importantly, controlling how people live, work and play.

Oppression Does Not Discriminate: Police Brutality Is Global

I'd like to know your thoughts on why AfroAmericans are disproportionately subjected to police brutality in the US. -
Oppression Does Not Discriminate: Police Brutality Is Global
ProfD replied to nels's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Unfortunately, my solution cannot be discussed on a public message board. But, neither peaceful protests nor burning and looting has ever made sense to me. It's the equivalent of kicking the dog or beating up someone else when you get an azz whupping from a parent. -
Nuclear talks is a bunch of saber rattling. These countries do not want a nuclear war because nobody wins. The whole point of the nuclear exercise is to let non-superpower countries know that if they ever get too big for their britches, they will be wiped off the planet.

Oppression Does Not Discriminate: Police Brutality Is Global
ProfD replied to nels's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Racism is the primary reason for police brutality here in the US. No other group of people in this country are injured and killed by the police as often as AfroAmericans. I do not agree with AfroAmericans burning cities and businesses in retaliation. My solution to the problem is a lot different. -
https://www.foxnews.com/us/biden-defense-secretary-lloyd-austin-tests-positive-for-covid-19 As more fully vaxxed & boosted folks test positive they're either going to 1) stop reporting because it doesn't encourage unvaxxed folks to get a jab or 2) stop testing and start accepting and treating this virus like the flu.

Black Admixture in Non Black People Groups
ProfD replied to anonymous50's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Under current conditions, race is a factor in human relations especially to those in power. White and non-white just makes it easier for me to identify the most powerful people on the planet. -
Neither a change in leadership nor a New Year puts a moratorium on stupidity, ignorance, violence and murder. Unfortunately, it's business as usual when it comes to folks killing each other all over this country. No exception.

Reads like China is doing the same thing every other super power does. Collecting intelligence in order to protect national interests is part of the defense game.

Do. Black. People. Want. Kwanzaa. ???????

Unfortunately, Afroamericans have a habit of abandoning our own ice because someone else's ice is colder. The saddest part is that someone else can take our ice and sell it back to us. -
I think black folks should definitely spend more time at the gun range. I have a blast there. A trip to the gun range does two (2) things, 1) teaches folks how to use weapons and 2) exposes them to the power of firearms. While folks think it's easy because of TV or whatever, everybody ain't built to point and squeeze or qualified to do so. Contrary to the murders we read and hear about in black communities, black folks aren't into guns nearly as heavily as white folks. We should know the various types of firearms and be proficient in using them.

@Mzuri, glad you're reading the humor between the lines. Maybe I'm jealous because when I was growing up, we got popped in the mouth for uttering stupid stuff. Politics asides, somebody needs to stick a Britta filter somewhere between MTG's brain and throat.

The latest from the biggest clown in the GOP: https://www.newsweek.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-calls-kwanzaa-fake-religion-created-psychopath-1663305 There is no limit to what comes out of this woman's pie-hole. But, they won't tell her to STFU. Unbelievable.

Correct on both accounts. People know who the bad seeds are in society way before they commit terrible crimes and/or murder. Family members and friends and police officers need to drop dimes on bad apples before they do something tragic.

I think @Pioneer1 is back from his self-imposed hiatus. Glad to read you again bro.

The good news is that I do not live in a tyrannical police state. The bad news is that n8gglets are killing folks with no regard for human life and committing other crimes. Road rage or looking at someone the wrong way should not end up in death. Respect for life and accountability across the board is totally necessary. Black folks need to demand both that n8gglets and police see fellow human beings and not a paper target at the gun range. Real life isn't a video game. Folks don't jump back up when they get shot, stabbed, choked out or beat up.
-
True that. In keeping with the teachings of NF Jr. and not necessarily to the contrary, I believe gatherings can be positive. It has to be controlled by the elders of the family and/or community. There was a time when more black men were looked up to and respected by their women and children and extended family and community. Case in point...my grandfathers were like EF Hutton. They were either admired or feared but always respected by everyone they knew. I'm definitely their grandson in every way. Many factors go into the collapse and dysfunction of our families and communities. It takes a lot to rebuild but mainly comes down to men stepping up to the plate in a major way. We gotta control our n8gglets.

My idea of a church is a meeting place to discuss problems and solutions. As I wrote in another thread, celebrating holidays should be a time for teaching and discussion as well. We definitely don't need to set aside special days to act a fool. That's already an ongoing thing.
