A war against white folks doesn't have to be a violent confrontation. Black folks can start by not giving money back to them. Black folks have enough knowledge, talent and resources to build a parallel system and be completely self-sufficient. Unfortunately, Black folks are afraid of more than being defeated in a war. The fear of white folks and respect for them reduces Black folks to an inferior almost child-like position. Then, there are those Black folks who believe the white man's ice is colder and will do whatever it takes to protect it.

That's the key to life and we should be teaching and passing it down from one generation to the next. There's an adage that says getting paid to do something you love you'll never feel like you've worked a day in your life. The other saying is to find a job that you love so much that you would've done it for free. We live in a society that encourages people to strive for careers that pay a lot of money regardless of personal satisfaction. Gross consumerism and consumption will take care of that.

@richardmurray, I keep reading you state basically that Black folks including AfroAmericans need to break free from the shackles of white supremacy. I agree. As you've mentioned, Black folks in other countries and on islands are essentially being enslaved by white folks from afar. A bunch of them leave their home countries and come to the USA. Then, there's Black folks who have a whole continent that is Africa. Yet, they don't totally control it either. A bunch of them also leave their home countries and come to the USA. Yet, very few of those Black immigrants really wants to build and connect with AfroAmericans. In fact, many of them look down on AfroAmericans. Black immigrants come to the USA and jump feet first into acquiesing to white supremacy under the guise of building a better life. Something they could or should have done in their home countries. As I mentioned in another thread, South Africa has a population of 59 million people. 55 million of them are Black. Yet, there was a time when those 4 million white folks ran South Africa. One must ask the question...how were they able to do that. We can discuss what Black folks need to do in order to break free from white supremacy from a diplomatic and philosophical perspective. I have sprinkled it through some of my posts here but I try to remain civil/diplomatic on a public forum. But, let me just type that for the record, so that there is no misunderstanding about where I'm coming from... The reality is the only way Black folks around the world will ever be free of white supremacy is going to war against it. Black folks have plenty of money if they pooled it. Black folks could have land too. The problem is that Black folks aren't organized in their beliefs nor logistically. Black folks do not have a security force or militia to protect us from those who wish to do us harm. The tie that should bind us is our skin color and knowing that we're all victims of racism white supremacy. Unfortunately, too many Black folks all over the world are waiting on a white savior to set them free. I'm not one of those AfroAmericans waiting on a sky fairy. I'm trying to be diplomatic in dismantling the system of racism white supremacy. But, I'm also strapped up and ready for war if it comes to pass.

I don't think they filmmakers set out to make fun of gay dudes but there was no reason to include him in the film either. His role didn't serve a purpose. Everything about the female warriors made sense to me in the context of the movie. They trained like a military in order to take care of business on the battlefield.

Well bro, this is where we have to disagree. White South Africans did not outsmart the Black majority. White folks were happy to coexist among the Black folks in South Africa. When white folks from outside South Africa visited and saw that Black folks were in charge and had whites working for them, they felt it was wrong. A delegation came through and convinced White South Africans to subscribe to the belief that they belong to a master race as theorized by cats like Arthur de Gobineau and Alfred Rosenberg. That set in motion what eventually became Apartheid. Of course, it was easy enough for white South Africans to receive military backing from other white countries. That's what gave white South Africans the power to rule. It was not their intelligence. White folks have no problem with taking over by force and using violence when diplomacy fails. H8ll, for a long time now, the British, French and Dutch have been running black nations with only a handful of white folks actually living there.

After WWII, NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) was established in the US too. NATO is the worldwide repository of military power. It is headquartered in Belgium but everybody knows who really runs the show.

Ticking off another demographic box and/or throwing shade was the only reason for a flaming homie in the movie. He was so out of place that I found it comedic. Otherwise, I do believe the film deserves a few Oscar nominations. I think we're going to be p*ssed off if only those two white women win it.

@Pioneer1, I understand. Unfortunate that it went down that way. But, dude isn't the 1st and won't be the last n8gglet to play himself. "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge... (Hosea 4:6). One can talk and preach until they turn blue but if the listener(s) is incapable of receiving the information for whatever reason, might as well be talking to a rock. Regardless of one's position in their system, there is no protection if/when they decide to make a change i.e. hire, fire or whatever. NF Jr. has a brilliant commentary on POTUS 44 and how they could have snatched his azz outta that seat whenever they felt like it. Minority supervisors are usually the worst because they constantly feel a need to prove themselves. As a result, they are harder on their subordinates. A minority can turn a department around and increase production 837%. White supremacists will 1) steal the credit and 2) codify and pass it to themselves. Black folks will never win by toiling in the system of white supremacy and subject to its whims. Black folks have to break free and become self-sufficient. There is nothing inherently *wrong* with being *right*. Well...except it doesn't replace the system of white supremacy with justice. That's why it doesn't feel good.

Right. That's why it's odd that they made a Black man effeminate in the movie. Even if he was a eunuch, there was no reason for him to be that soft.

All things considered from what you've written, I'm not surprised 1) that he didn't heed your warnings and 2) he got fired. More often than not, younger folks do not listen to their elders. They think they're smart and know better especially if they're in a higher position. Folks in positions of authority and/or greater responsibility makes it even worse. In their minds, only higher ups on the totem pole can tell them anything. White supremacists will make an example of out anybody. Firing a Black supervisor who is a rising star in the company is a subliminal message to keep everyone else in line. Your former co-worker was a sacrificial lamb. Do not feel sorry for him. If he was that good, he'll land on his feet elsewhere. Hopefully, the lesson he learned from racism will be a humbling experience.

Bingo. Wars boost the economy. Human suffering too. Human beings are expendable as evidenced by the fact that millions of people have died in wars throughout history. Same thing applies to diseases. Everything about this conflict is enriching others. Interesting that it started as the pandemic was waning. Watch their hands. Follow the money.

You have more compassion than I do. I cannot give Kanye a pass for his actions especially knowing his back story. I believe he uses everything in his life to maintain his celebrity. Again, Kanye is not a *dumb* dude (unintelligent) by any stretch of the imagination. Quite the opposite actually.

Not that kind of movie to show Black folks loving each other. Considering the storyline, the woman warriors are fighting and killing men. However, the king (a dude) does have several wives. I know that would be right up your alley. But, there are no s8x scenes and the women aren't showing their breasts. Again, it's not that kinda film. Think along the lines of Wonder Woman minus flying and special powers.

@Pioneer1, Harlem Nights is a classic AfroAmerican movie. Funny as h8ll. Yep. Mumble-mouth Herschel is still in the race as abortions fall out of his closet. White supporters are claiming it's not a big deal. His policy promises are more important.

Yep. Unfortunately, there are Black folks who believe they have arrived beyond the point of white folks hatred. Kanye is not a dumb guy. He knows better. But, I think he's gotten so intoxicated from fame and money that his desire to remain relevant has him out here in these streets playing loose and reckless. He's gambling with his celebrity. As long as Kanye is willing to play the game, white folks will continue to enrich him. Apparently, in Kanye's case, whatever it profits a man to live lavish right now is worth the price of his soul. If/when white folks decide it's open season on killing Black folks, I'd be slightly curious to see where Kanye, Candace, Clarence, Larry, Herschel and Diamond and Silk to name a few are going to hide when the bullets start flying.

My sista, I have read what dude has posted and while I applaud others for engaging with him, 1) I typically stay out of these types of discussions and 2) I'm wondering if he's a troll. A few comments in his posts have definitely raised my brow.
