  1. This is another story that should be front page news across every Black platform. Everything about this situation is suspect until proven otherwise. I believe the twin brothers were abducted, taken to that mountain area and killed by racist white folks. Yet, Black folks are so far off code and removed from taking care of each other that we're in a perpetual state of indifference.
  2. @Pioneer1, I'd like to how Black folks would benefit from a diverse group doing racial classification here in America. I doubt that it would result in reparations for FBA/ADOS.
  3. Greedy and corrupt leaders are usually responsible for selling out their countries. African countries won't invest in their own infrastructure. Instead, they allow Chinese and Arabs to replace themselves. That's gonna happen when folks are reduced to being poor. If the country did a better job of eliminating poverty, greed and corruption the people would have a better quality of life. No need to flee or beg. No different from AfroAmericans. Athletes and entertainers have the same issues whenever they go back to their hoods. Right. The goal should be to change those conditions. Build alliances with other folks who have made it. Reinvest in the communities as a cooperation. Not as an individual. Easy mark. I believe the incoming white nationalism and supremacy on steroids will force Black folks to do something different. Survival will depend on it.
  4. Brotha Malcolm X had it right when he said white folks have zero business being involved in Black organizations. Spies at best. All white folks have managed to do infiltrating Black affairs is keep Black sellouts, bootlicks and shills satiated on butter biscuits.
  5. African countries are allowing it happen. A handful of Africans get rich from selling out their countries. Some folks enjoy crumbs falling from the table proverbially. Others flee to other countries for a *better* life. Those remaining on the continent of Africa are struggling just to get by and live a half-way decent life. I have zero sympathy for people who have a whole f8cking continent and don't control the resources on it from top to bottom. Maybe I'm jealous. IMO, Africa should surpass oil rich countries in terms of wealth and quality of life for every citizen.
  6. Race may be a social construct but white folks have definitely embraced using it to maintain their power and domination over non-white folks. Other folks use race and ethnicity to differentiate themselves. As @Pioneer1 mentioned above, there's no confusion among white folks when it comes to describing folks especially Black and Brown. Look no further than how 1) law enforcement deals with folks, 2) Black history is being erased and 3) illegal immigrants are being rounded up. Race is made up but IMO it is a universally accepted reality. Just ask people who have been marginalized and/or profiled for one reason or another.
  7. Right The Democrats have become a mixed bag of progressives and moderates. Right. The Liberals who care about social issues and Black folks are considered far-Left.
  8. Many Tesla drivers are Democrats. Whenever charges are brought it will be interesting to see how the trials play out.
  9. The only reason they would consider burning Teslas an act of domestic terrorism is because of who owns it. His money is having a major influence on American politics. They wouldn't consider it domestic terrorism if someone burned up a bunch of Kia or Hyundai vehicles.
  10. Heard the news this morning. Big George will go down in boxing history as one of the greatest of all time. His knockout power was the precursor to Mike Tyson. It's also great that Big George was successful several times over in his lifetime. Very few people get as many bites at the apple. Thanks for the legendary fights. Many folks appreciate those grills too. RIP Mr. George Foreman.
  11. Yep. Brotha @richardmurray has reminded me enough that Black folks are not a monolith and that we should move and/or be treated as such. Let every Black tribe hold their own proverbial nutz.
  12. Right. Burning up Teslas won't strike fear in American citizens. The population won't believe they're under attack. I doubt Tesla is fearful of the backlash its owner has incurred. It won't put a dent in his fortune either. It will be interesting to see how charges are filed against the perpetrators. Let's see if they are charged as domestic terrorists or get the January 6th treatment.
  13. There are cities, towns and communities that provide AfroAmerican tribes with autonomy from the dominant society. AfroAmerican tribes would be well served to protect themselves first and foremost. Then, build strategic alliances with other Black tribes to insure peace and prosperity across the board. If so desired, Black tribes can segregate and separate from the dominant society without being dramatic. Quietly slide smooth the f8ck off.
  14. https://abcnews.go.com/US/tesla-vehicles-vandalized-us-musk-began-white-house/story?id=119910817 I have no idea of who is setting Tesla vehicles and charging stations on fire. However, we do know who owns Tesla and his proximity to POTUS OJ. The unelected dude is ruffling a lot of feathers. Even if the arsonists are politically motivated, it seems like a stretch to consider burning up vehicles a form of domestic terrorism. There are charges that can be brought against the arsonists once apprehended. I do not believe they are domestic terrorists. Feel free to make the case otherwise.
  15. Right. Everything Project 2025 aims to do is a power grab and reshaping of America of epic proportion. Neely Fuller Jr. checked out before having to witness the system of racism white supremacy on steroids. if Black folks were powerless before now, the best prayers may not stop the incoming tsunami of white nationalism and supremacy.
  16. Gotcha. That proverbial story ties back to one of NF Jr.'s themes about how Black men should only gather to solve problems. No partying & BS.
  17. I don't recall that particular NF Jr.s story. He could spin them though.
  18. The egg crisis will lead some people to rethink their purchase and consumption. It may be a little harder getting around baked goods and other higher priced products that use eggs. Rice cakes will become more popular.
  19. IMO, competition is a good thing. Iron sharpens iron. One *problem is when folks don't know how to lose and/or accept defeat. Parents and coaches should be teaching sportsmanship to those who compete in sports and other activities. Another *problem* is that too many folks live vicariously through competitors which leads to additional stress. I've seen parents who may or may not have been accomplished get beside themselves in trying to *encourage* children to win. Some adults have gone so far as to do stupid stuff to include fighting at children's sporting events. I don't believe in giving out participation trophies either. There's only winners and losers. Losers go back to the woodshed. Train harder. Come back better. Rinse and repeat.
  20. Exactly. They will leave Rep. Al Green to his one man crusade going nowhere. As far as leadership goes, Rep. Pete Aguilar isn't Black or white but he's #3 Democrat in congress.
  21. I haven't been to Michigan in a very long time. So, I'm not sure what brotha @Pioneer1 sees there. As I've mentioned before, take a trip to any college or university campus especially HBCUs and there will be plenty of young Black folks who can read, write, speak and spell just fine. Factor in the number of folks who have matriculated through those institutions. I see young people using modern technology better than adults. These babies can navigate cell phones and tablets. I also realize it's a generational thing to think and/or believe younger folks are less educated and/or more clueless or whatever. It's simply untrue. Social media does allow folks to be more antisocial. Social butterflies are going to fly regardless. Younger folks just may not want to hang out here with opinionated old people.
  22. Surely, the white men who control power and money would disagree and laugh. Look no further than the current power structure here in the US. Those types of men see women as a convenience.
  23. AfroAmericans should never rely on them to highlight the best of us. Displaying AfroAmericans in a positive light is antithetical to the system of racism white supremacy. At the same time, AfroAmericans need to reserve that negative energy and violence used against each other for the real enemy.
  24. I believe Rep. Al Green will occupy the same space in history as Rep. Joe Wilson who yelled "you lie!" at POTUS Obama back in 2009. Democrats aren't following Rep. Green. The party seems to cracks in it with no real leadership. Within the Democratic party, the old guard needs to fall back. The young pups need to stop barking at the wind and trying to go viral on social media. There are several Democrats in the trenches who could emerge to right the ship. Remains to be seen whether or not they will seek higher offices. Zero. The international community is shook by the US heading towards isolationism. Other countries are more worried about 1) being required to put up more money in their own defense and 2) losing free money the US pours into their economies. Rep. Al Green will ultimately come across as an old man yelling at the clouds in his crusade against POTUS OJ.
  25. https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2025/02/05/congress/green-moves-to-impeach-trump-again-00202601 Rep. Al Green (D-TX) has filed articles of impeachment against POTUS OJ with regard to the Gaza Strip. Members of Congress have already stated the US stands with Israel. The Israelis have top cover to wipe Gaza off the map. Rep. Al Green and the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) should be working on a reparations bill. Especially since Democrats are dead in the water on any other legislation over the next 4 years. They have plenty time on their hands. Make it productive.
