IMO, black greatness is indeed something that one can only experience through continual situational awareness. As black people, we always have to be hyper-aware of not only our ever changing surroundings, but the constant barrage of 'incoming' fire that those who are not black or identify as black, don't see.

IMO, none of this feel-good (stuff, so to speak) makes any sense. Black greatness is the ability to boldly execute to completion, prosperity and success, without relying on anyone's help or permission. From what's been observed, rap and hip-hop are like social pathogens that have metastasized across nearly all of black America, as well as youth (from nearly all races, ethnicities and heritages) across the entire globe. Rap and hip-hop rely less on skill and more on disgruntlement to enrich those who both create, perform, market and promote it.
