It's not so much that he's saying what's on "people's" minds....he's saying what's on RACISTS' minds! I don't like how so many Black people on the internet and especially on social media are cheering his vile and racist attacks. To see so many Black Americans side with an open and avowed racist against other Africans/Black people is disturbing. Not so much that they didn't have it coming to them. I'm not in love with Somalis myself because much of my interactions with them on line was them being VERY racist and anti-Black American in general but they also tend to be very anti OTHER African as well and consider themselves superior. One of the reasons there are so many Somalis in places like Minnesota, Oregon, and Maine is because these are some of the places with the LEAST amount of Black Americans, who many Somalis try to avoid when coming here...lol. However there are 2 major problems with his rhetoric: 1. If he's talking like this about Haitians and Somalis...calling THEM "garbage" and saying that he doesn't want the in the country, how long will it be before he starts saying that about Black Americans? Will there be people all over social media hand clapping and cheering THAT on to? Will I see other AfroAmericans staring at the screen with their eyes wide open and shining "agreeing" with Trump and clapping their hands and saying "right on" or that he's "telling it like it is" by disparaging AfroAmericans as a community.....as if they aren't part of that same community? Where does this stop? 2. He's just talking. But don't think he's words aren't firing up the racists on the ground level ready to take action and do something. He long before we start hearing reports about attacks from private citizens on the groups he's targeting? That goes for this so called "New Black Media" who seem to be cheering him on in his attack against Somalis and other Black immigrants. This is one of the reasons I can't trust them. Because if you'll side with Trump over THEM Black folks....how do I know you won't side with Trump over YOUR OWN Black folks? If he decides to go hard on Black Americans and try to remove THEM from the country, how do I know YOU won't sit up there with a bowl of popcorn grinning and talking shit about US...even though you're one of us...and cheer him on?

They said his wife was Jewish too. So that's interesting. I don't know about him being gay, but I definitely don't think he WANTS to be married. I think this is just cosplaying. He's trying to portray himself as a "family man" the others can relate to, or atleast a man who kicks it with the ladies. He's making this move for a future Presidency bid.

I wouldn't be surprised if they spent their nights engaging in kinky sex with role playing from the 1880s.....if you know what I mean.

Troy I'm not biblical scholar but I HAVE read the entire Bible from cover to cover and I frequently read entire parts of it not just in English but also in it's original Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic to get a more accurate understanding of it's passages. So I usually know what I'm talking about when I quote it. I didn't ask you how you arrived at your conclusion....lol. You said that I took those passages out of context and that they shouldn't be taken literally; so my question is what is the INTENDED meaning behind them? In other words..... If my interpretation is wrong, what is the CORRECT interpretation?

My question is, how did a murderous violent attack committed by an AFGHAN national from California who drove to Washington D.C. turn into a rant and tirade against the entire SOMALI community in Minnesota??? How did one lead to the other?

They should have went for Universal Healthcare. For basic needs atleast. We can still have health insurance if you want perks and extra benefits like a pimped-out hospital room or work compensation or certain designer drugs. But for basic care to keep people healthy, it should be absolutely free. At one point Obama had both Houses Democrat led and a more Liberal S-Court. If they were really sincere about it they could have done it. Obama Care was pretty much a give away to the insurance companies because now you're FORCED to get health insurance whether you want to or not.

All of the "evidence" and "proof" in the world won't convince somebody if their mind is made up and they are set on a particular point or belief. It's like trying to "impress" a racist or present absolute proof to change their mind. They may already know everything you're presenting to them, they don't want to see it because their position is set. The only thing YOU do by presenting more evidence and proof to them is anger them and make them push back harder.

If you wanted to treat ME back in the 70s, 80s, or 90s....just take me to a Church's Chicken and buy me some of that greasy ass chicken, a couple corn on the cobs, and a back of their, jalapeno peppers. I'll shovel snow, cut grass, rake leaves, beat somebody up....lol....whatever you needed....lol.

Almost forgot..... Who REALLY excelled in the schools I went to were the Jewish students! I grew up in a neighborhood that was still transitioning from almost all Jewish to nearly all Black from the 60s to the 90s.....lol. All the Jewish students DID was study. And when they left the public schools they would get on a bus and spend hours at a PRIVATE school strictly to learn Jewish traditions. This was every day!

I miss Church's Chicken back in Detroit and Bojangles Chicken when I used to live down South....lol.

Troy Based on both observation and experience, with the vast majority of people...you tend to excel wherever you put your focus and most of your energy. I didn't have too many Asians in my class growing up but we did have a few. Based on observation they DID tend to do better in math and a few other subjects....but they failed miserably when it came to social interactions and they were TOTALLY absent on the sports teams in both Middle School and High School. We didn't even know where they lived, because we didn't see them walking around or riding around the neighborhood on bikes like us. They didn't attend any parties and if there was a school event they were very awkward when it came to interacting with anyone except other Asians. I'm not talking about recent Asian immigrants either, but kids who were born and raised in the U.S. and even their parents seems to speak pretty good English so they were thoroughly integrated into American culture. They were just socially inept in many cases. Black kids did good socially and in sports because that's where most of us put our focus and energy in. Asian kids did good in academics because that's where they put most of THEIR energy and focus in. Interestingly, the Korean and Chinese kids DID tend to get good grades but the Filipino kids did about the same as the Black and White kids. Some excelled....others failed and had to stay behind a grade, lol. In my opinion, school isn't JUST about book learning but how to interact with people...especially people of different backgrounds. Learning how to handle conflict, approach and be successful with the opposite sex (or same sex if....lol), and how to get along in life in general. To be a well rounded person, you need BALANCE.

I'm wondering what their strategy was in CAVING to the Republicans and opening it back up? Did they think once the premiums shot up sky high that this would cause so much of an outrage that the public would then turn against the Republicans? If anything, this will probably have the opposite effect by looking even weaker than they already do. They're gonna get the blame for the high insurance premiums because the public is going to feel THEY had an opportunity to prevent it.

ProfD I know all of that now. Except for the being from Indiana part....lol. However even as an adult, I've often wondered was Sanders a Confederacy sympathizer and used that persona to not just promote his product but to endear people to the Confederate past. Kind of like the Dukes Of Hazzard television show and how they would incorporate the Confederate flag and named their car the "General Lee".

Was your community in Sandusky Ohio? There seems to be a lot of Black events in Columbus Ohio lately. On the African Diaspora Channel I saw there was some sort of Black Expo there either last year or earlier this year. I actually LIVED in Columbus Ohio for a brief period of time at the advise of a friend. I didn't see a lot of Black people outside of a pretty sizable Somali refugee population; but that was over 20 years ago.
