The question is, in over one hundred and fifty years since the end of the war between the states, why haven't ADOs formed their own party of governance in the usa? let's be blunt, black people have heavily voted for the elephants and the donkeys and had voters of the less liked party of governance throughout 1865 to now.
But let us cut out black donkeys or black elephants or black folks who advocate either. Then you have the black advocates who never supported the donkeys or elephants while they never supported a black party of governance? I am think garvey/malcolm/fannie lou hamer.
What does it lead to? Direct democracy. When I sum up the history of ADOS in the USA it is clear that the only functional solution based on black leaders actions in the usa from 1865 to now is for a black party of governance BUT of one based on direct democracy and I think that has been the complication.
What we all forget is that no law exists on how a party of governance is supposed to be structured or designed in the usa. BUT , all too often, and this goes to all populaces in the usa, the design of a party does not have to be like the elephants or donkeys and i think that is part of the problem with the ADOS. If the Black ADOS are to have a party of governance, because of the population distribution of Black ADOS in the usa , the relationship to the bureaucracy of ADOS, the internal demographics of the usa, the internal variances of the black populace which includes way more non ADOS than ever before a black ados party of governance or black party of governance can't be structured or designed like the elephants or donkeys.
for the forum post
my comment on the post
I have publicly said this myself, in this very forum, many times.
The only things i can add that I have't said before are:
1. I can't recall any black person , very popular or highly active in the government, promoting a black party of governance... meaning whether back people advocate the elephants or the donkeys or independent none say black party of governance so... what unite these three groups who tend to speak ill of each other but are all assured in no black party of governance. Black independents talk about voting issue by issue, cycle by cycle, but never a black party. Black elephants even when the party of abraham lincoln does clearly anti black things never thinks to break off. Black donkeys even when the party of andrew jackson does clearly anti black things never thinks to break off. so... conspiracy maybe, but clearly something unites those three groups all of whom tend to be financially of the most wealthy black folks
2. I think I haven't seen one quality attempt at a third party in the usa, and i think two things have to be said. First the donkeys + elephants will work together to stop a consistent third party from forming. Too fe admit this, like the elephants or donkeys want another player, they don't. Second, I do think the structure/design/demographic strategy of a third party, any third party has to be more respected. I recall the reform party. It had two problems at the end. It became too beholden to the elephants. and second, it realize how to focus on the places its won and simply be content. I do think the infatuation with the presidency and third parties is a problem overall. The black populace of the usa isn't demographically even everywhere so any functional party of governance for black people in the usa can't be a federal wide party. I jus tthink that is a simple truth that gets lost or not admitted enough. So accepting these things, a black party of governance can't be shaped/structured/designed like the elephants or donkeys. And I think that is part of the problem.
