So then, the LYRID METEOR SHOWERS came from a comet that radiated from the constellation LYRA and it left behind these meteors in April! So every April as the earth moves these meteors shoot through the atmosphere from that very region in the sky! Yes it is! And in about two days will be another astrological event is about to occur that astronomers have predicted. Actually there are two events: (1) A Rare Hybrid Solar Eclipse is predicted to occur on April 20, 2023, however it won't be able to be seen in the US. (2) The Lyrid Meteor Shower of which has been predicted to occur around April 14 through the 25th. A man died at an Atlanta jail after being eaten alive by insects and bed bugs, his family’s attorney told USA TODAY on Thursday. A female sheriff leaked a video which contradicted lies. Tony was placed in the jail freezer until he died. The video showed him lying on the freezer floor with no bed. Some police opened the door around 3:00 AM and laughed at him, then closed the door again until about 6:00 AM. Then they told the media that he was responsive but the video showed that he was completely unconcious. The autopsy revealed that he had frozen to death. So, who did this to these two men? Case in point: Just recently a White man was arrested for shooting at the police, but we, as Blacks know that, had that been a Black man, however, the police would have shot him several times. But then, when the reality of police brutality is looked at in a wider view, I would not be surprised if there are a lot of White people that suffer police brutality too. But because of racist White ignorant devils attacking Black people, therefore, when they do suffer police brutality, their voices may not be heared due to so much concentration on them attacking Black people! It's sort of like 'Intersectionality'. The idiots are close to the bottom of the pyramid 'for the most part' economically, and so their actions against Black people causes them to not be heard. Some of them may get better relief than Black people, but they still suffer. This is why I mentioned the White man that shot at the police. Even though he was not shot and killed on the spot, however, he was 'allegedly' treated so incredibly bad in the jail that he died after about two weeks of being incarcerated. SO WHERE IS THE LOGIC in not seeing that this American system can easily deprive White people of their human rights as well as Blacks?

Prince made himself flashy so in comparison to Idris Elba, I can see why some may have chosen Prince. However, for me, Idris Elba has more sex appeal. I don't have an opinion right now about the shower scene. @Troy But, that was a strange video. The men wore pink prison suits!!! I'm not familiar with Lil Nas. I've heard of his name, but this is the first time I've seen anything about him. But I think his video has a deep revelation about how America has progressed since it began! I think that this was what the Europeans wanted in the first place. They wanted to kill/genocide the Black man's [spirit] and effeminize them. And the prison system was one of the most affective systems to aid in this goal. LOL. I never watched any of those shows you mentioned except perhaps one or twe episodes of The Office. Now that you mention it, yes, I do think they were made to appeal to middle class White people, but a lot of my Black Co-workers loved those shows too. I just recently saw a video about Friends, and it has gotten a lot of negative comments because it was said that they did not have any Black actors that appeared on a regular basis. I think Parks and Recreation too, was along the same lines, but Retta, simply stole the show!

Well, I think that of all ADOSC [African American Descendants of Slave Children] categorically. We are the only 'race' in the world whose origins begin here in America this late into the human history. Our memory begins here in 'the New World' if we don't choose to do self research. She said you have to do some 'funny math' if you believe that Jesus died on Friday and rose on Sunday! She's right, the Bible does not say this at all. Jesus was dead for 3 days and 3 nights, so he could not have died on Friday and be raised on Sunday, the first day of the week according to scripture. The Sabbath is the 7th day and Sunday is the First day according to scripture, so Americans have clearly set up a holiday that has nothing to do with the truth or the scriptures. The Bible fixes Jesus birth and death based on astronomy, an exact science so, whether or not anyone wants to believe that he existed, the scriptures are confirmed based on science. Jesus did not die on GOOD FRIDAY, yet it is a major American holiday. Oh come on! I have a hard time believing that you misunderstood this post. It was clearly not about Blacks enslaving Blacks. Neither do I. I do not believe that slavery should be practice no matter what race. I Did Not Know That Carol Channing's Grandmother was Black!? She passed away in 2019. I loved to watch two episodes of her and the late Betty White on a Love Boat episode. She has a unique, strong voice and she's funny. And I just read that, although she was considered a White woman all her life, in the later years, she admitted that she had recent Black ancestry! So, on this wise, I wonder would she fit the old category of 'passing' or, would she fit the old category of 'one drop rule'. I don't know how those rules line up. Anyway, Carol's father's mother was a Black woman. And her mother told her at the time that she was going off to college the truth about it. The reason why her mother told her, Carol would later explain, would be because her mother did not want her to have children and be surprised that her baby might be Black! Wow! So anyway, here is a video of a doctor of psychology that did some research on her. Carol announced later in life, I think in 2002 that she did have this Black ancestry and appeared on some talk shows to further expound upon her views.

I could not access the post but it's been since 2016 that this was posted. Anyway, yes, I think that obese and fat may be different terms but in most regards, they are probably the same in regards to being healthy. I believe that in the Black culture our image has been hurt because in the past, non-Black women were deemed beautiful and were mostly depicted as being thin and Black women were depicted as being obese and this image was equated with beauty, but the problem is that many Black men did not see this as being beauty. So for this reason, fat/obese Black women were mostly highlighted so that more Black men would speak out against Black women as being UGLY. I think this was a deliberate movement too, pushed out by 'the powers that be". Soon though Black people in high positions began to deal with this 'false image' and Black women, whether they were thin or obese were highlighted for positive aspects and not just the physical aspects. That is what I think. I absolutely agree that fat/obesity is a serious health problem. But now, I just have to post an actress that I just love to see because, although she is fat/obese, she is so pretty and she seems to have a positive attitude, confident and it just shines on her. I love to see RETTA! I didn't care, at first, for the series Parks and Recreation, but I continued to tune in because she was just so amazing in this role. And, the producers must have thought so as well. At first, she was never included in the credits as part of the main crew, but towards the end of the series, you can see that she was featured as a main character! Yes! They began to build the series around her and Anziz Ansari and Aubrey Plaza. They were amazing! But Retta, stole the show! And, her face is so pretty that I think that if she did lose weight she would still be pretty. I wish I knew of other shows that she is on. That show was completely stupid, but for some reason, I came to love it! They had some awesome guest stars such as the former First Lady, Michelle Obama and Genuine, and more. TREAT YOURSELF! -- One of her Anzis' famous lines!

You're probably right! IDK. I was extremely thin most of my life until I started having children. So, If I were to drop some pounds, I don't think it would affect me to the point where I would get out of hand. But my husband probably thinks like you @Pioneer1.
