  1. I feel stuck in a continual trap when I hear stories like this. I cannot even help myself let alone be of any help to anyone else. We need a group effort but sadly, there are too many well-to-do Blacks that become the wall... until they get hurt.
  2. LOL @Stefan Okay. But nevertheless, this comet did come so close to our planet that it was able to be seen with the naked eye!
  3. This is probably true, the sad truth. However, it effort is put into these situations, the financial return will come eventually and in various ways, I believe @richardmurray When I think about this, I also think about the CRM and how it took off. I was told by older men who had been in the military that the CRM actually started due to Black men coming back from the Korean War and this completely surprised me. I had never heard of that before! I even graduated from an HBCU and never heard of that until after I joined a book club and was invited to sit at the table with AfroAmerican Islamic men. I was also told at this time that the song TAPS became famous due to the many Black men that had been killed. Man! And so, I reseached and found out that the brother was right! I said this because, I believe that even though there might be little financial return in having a good media source right now, eventually, there should be a decent return. As a result of the CRM, many Black people who had been oppressed were able to get jobs, better education, and etc. AND ON THIS SAME NOTE: Did anyone read and here about a Black man named RASHEED CARTER!!! My heart ache's for what he endured. He was murdered last year, but nevetheless, I feel that the media is watering it down and providing mild phrases like, 'He was allegedly killed' and such like. He was murdered! Apparently, he was a cook and had beef with his supervisor and this led to him being pursued for days. He went to his mother and told her and then she told him to go to the police. He went to the police and told them that he was being chased by three (3) truck loads of White men. He then told his mother if anything happens to me, you know who did it. Then, he went missing. After a month, the remains of his body was found in pieces in certain areas in Mississippi. Deer camera footage captured a shirtless Rasheem Carter in the Mississippi woods on October 2, 2022 — the day his mother reported him missing. Rasheem Carter family handout Rasheem Carter was seen on a trail camera shirtless on the day he was reported missing. The Black man's mother told Insider she believes the image shows Carter was "running for his life." A local sheriff says no one else was with Carter in the footage and that there's no evidence yet he was murdered. The mother of the 25-year-old man whose remains were found a month after he disappeared told Insider on Wednesday that the wildlife camera image of her son shows that "something was wrong" and that he was "running for his life." "You could see there are bruises on him," Carter's mother, Tiffany Carter, told Insider of the October 2, 2022 image with a time stamp of 4:32 p.m. "When I see that picture, I know my son was somewhere struggling, somewhere running for his life." https://www.insider.com/rasheem-carter-trail-camera-photo-before-missing-death-mother-2023-3
  4. Yes @ProfD I think it would be ridiculous to believe that mankind has had anything to do with the formation of this planet or the universe. No one today, no matter how smart they are has been able to explain how the solar system has formed or how humans began. Scientist can clone but that means they can only use what is here. They cannot create any new human and that to me is amazing. Human beings are not credited for creating humans or a solar system and therefore, they have no ultimate power to destroy the planet or save the planet from any sort of massive castastrophe. Some people believe that the earth has been damaged by mankind, and I do believe this to an extent. I can understand why some people believe that Climate Change may be part of mankinds actions, but I also believe that there are other factors to also consider. You say, the Earth has a way of taking care of itself, well, that may be true but, I surely don't want to have to flee to a cave and live like that due to the Earth purging violently to take care of itself! I do not want to be reduced to living like a cave woman. Most of humans are on the bottom of the class system and we are already struggling while a minority life wealthy. That bothers me a lot.
  5. So true @Pioneer1. I think this has happened to all of Africa even before the Berlin Conference, as you obviously know. It is amazing to me in how this was able to happen. I am still in the learning process though but, it is amazing. I guess at some point after the prophet Mohammad conflicted with his own people, he fled to Africa from Saudi Arabia and found refuge. Soon, he went back to his country and started a conflict and used the platform of slavery which led to a division. Then I think history says that he went to Syria and married a rich Syrian widow. At this point, I think eventually, Arab people developed their religion and script, and from what hear from African American Islamic men, their is division because their books, although based on the Hebrew Israelites and Moses, has been interpreted in a unique way. Somehow, the ancient MONOTHEISTIC RELIGION of Black AFrican kings has been erased and they are defined as worshiping idols and somehow, the Arabs religion is become supreme. But historically, it was the Black kings that were monotheistic because that is what 'A KING' means anyway. Black AFrican people eventually became inundated with Arab people intertwining their version of ancient history into the Black AFrican scripts and this kind of religion is now part of Africa especially in Sudan. I believe that the Arab presence is a vital aspect of what is going on right now in Sudan and the Ethiopians, Eritreans, Tygrayans, etc. are being stalked. The Arab people's religion is not the same everywhere, IMO, but again, I am still trying to understand. But everyone over there for the most part anyway lives by religion and that will never change as it has over hear with the Greek idea of democracy. That is just not going to happen. The Greeks brought their form of government into AFrica hundreds of years even before Rome formed and tried to get all of those AFrican men to drop monotheism and that is a failed mission eventhough they still constantly bagger those Black African men about it and about homosexuality. It's just not going to happen. Homosexuality and idolatry has caused a lot of problems in Africa, but it will never be completely accepted. Those Black men are getting more and more defensive against White domination. Yes, @ProfD it seems like the tieds are starting to change on that very score! I don't know if they will ever be able to kick everybody out though, but it sure does make me feel good to see some of those beautiful men overthere speak up--and women too. There are some very vocal and amazing women overthere too. And, I think too though, that it is not a bad thing to have some outside partners though. But they are getting a lot of kick back about China, Russia, and the west.
  6. Of course you know, I am NOT going to let this slide!!! You laugh @ProfD! It's funny to me too, at times. @Stefan, you can take your tin foil hat off FOR NOW, because it's not everyday that 'heavenly bodies' interact with earth to cause catastrophe. So digging underground homes and shooting rockets into the sky to knock out little rocks and big rocks may seem like a waste of time, but there is a reason why the White House would fund NASA and other organizations and spend millions of dollars developing powerful telescopes and satellites. We may be okay for now but I'll be back in a few, to drop some more comments about how comets, meteors and asteroids, of which come from comets, I might add[!] have definitely gotten past our atmosphere and impacted earth. According to ancient scripture, this earth will always remain but it also is stated redundantly that one-third of this planet will be destroyed. So human life will continue but that doesn't mean that we will all be okay and live in a pleasant atmosphere enjoying the daylight warmth or a cool summers night. I have learned a lot in the recent past about an amazing term; A Volcanic Winter and other phenomena that led to an ice age and hopefully, I will return to make some more comments about this amazing green comet that came into our orbit and got past the suns heat. I think you may already know what I will be posting about perhaps. But I will give a hint; The extinction of the dinosaurs.
  7. Yes! @richardmurrayI understand this! Maybe we need Tokyo Rose up in this crisis, or maybe WION! Maybe we need some hardcore reporters in the African Diaspora forum or something. Black Americans need to get a better voice outside of America on a continuing basis, I suppose.
  8. Maybe one day!? Anyway, WOW, I did not realize what had happen until I read your thread @ProfD I saw the name pop up in media but I had completely ignored it until now. I am shocked. It seems like another situation just like what happened to the late George Floyd. This is deeply depressing. After I read this, I spoke about it to my husband. He had a delayed reaction. At first, he did not know what I was talking about, but in less than five minutes, he began to relay all of the details, proving that he knew about it, read about it, but never brought it to the forefront of his mind. This is just what happened to Trayvon Martin and he was a teenager, only 17 years old. Jordan Neely was 14 years old and endured his mother who was murdered by an abusive man. Obviously, this was overwhelming for him. I wonder if there were any signals that were ignored before his mother was murdered. I have no faith in America when it comes to dealing with Black-on-Black crime either. I think this LAISSEZ-FAIR approach taken against Black-on-Black crime is the number one problem in a White dominated system. Only when the criminal act is obvious will this government step in but barely.
  9. @richardmurray LOL. I guess that would depend on his perception! But then too, it would probably be more to this if Kim chose to perceive herself in a certain way. This question made me think about another celebrity, Rashida Jones! Rashida Jones and her father, Quincy Jones Rashida and her mother Peggy Lipton I read your comment about Black women and their position and Lincoln and his position on democracy and slavery, etc. This is all so confusing imo. I am not happy about what is going on in the world today and I try to study and learn to get peace. I think America has caused a lot of confusion because of the educational system and I believe that this is a crucial reason why we, as a whole system, are confused. Black people are divided but so are White people. They do not all agree too on issues that pertain to American politics. From what I remember, the term 'federal' means that this government is under 'one nation and one [god]' but the framers aloud the STATES to make their own decisions and only step in when a crisis occurs that makes the union vulnerable to collapse. For this reason, Virginia is a Commonwealth, North Carolina is an 'AT WILL' union and etc. This means that America is balanced when it comes to White Supremacy and when it is in jeopardy, then the federal government will mobilize. As a Christian, I absolutely understand this from a more scientific basis as the prophet DANIEL broke this down in detail very well more than a thousand years ago! The prophet Daniel defined the Roman Empire and its PROVINCES and etc. on the ancient and historical basis that all big government first form: ALL CIVILIZATIONS FORM INITIALLY BY BUILDING UP ONE MAJOR CITY!!! Therefore every state in America has a CAPITAL CITY and the capital city for the federal union is Washington D.C. For Rome, the capital was ROME, in Central Italy. Therefore, Daniel defined the future SECOND ROME as THE GREAT CITY and this is the historical and scientific way to define any major civilization such as Beijing and Moscow, etc. The GREAT CITY that Daniel described is actually ROME and THE SECOND ROME to form of which is a great empire government. And we all know that ALL OF AMERICAN 50+ STATES have A CAPITAL CITY that is the foundation of each state under this federal government! LOL. Each American state 'Capital city' has their main courthouse, jails, main streets, and other government buildings in their respective municipalities and it is like ROME ON STEROIDS!!! Daniel knew what he was talking about! LOL! He got it right although a lot of people have been misled and do not understand the ancient scriptures due to so much confusion from our educational system about the past. This too, is why there is so much confusion about 'Race' and 'Colorism'. The scientific classification of humans is based on another whole idea and COLOR is not a primary factor at all. But as a Black woman who fails the paper bag test, I don't have a voice yet and I think that it is because of the problem with the Black Church. I personally do NOT want to be governed by a bunch of women, nevertheless, I feel that the Black man has completely failed in the Black Church and this is why Jesus Christ was sent in the first place. IMO, things won't change until the Second Coming, but the Black man has had about 2000 years to figure out why they have failed and get it right before they have a worst situation than what has already happen. I believe that genderism is crucial, we cannot ignore it since it is a scientific reality. To ignore it, means Black men will continue to be effeminized. You mentioned Frederick Douglas but when I think about him, I always think about Willion Lloyd Garrison who said that Frederick Douglass was suffering from demons. LOL. WLG had a lot to say about democracy and was persecuted a lot for the stance that he took.
  10. Ha! Absolutely @Pioneer1! IMO the Hemedty leader looks intermixed with Arab traits!!! And the other leader looks like he is intermixed with Ethiopian traits! and he met with PM of Ethiopia while the Hemedti leader had private meetings with the Eritrean leader.
  11. This seems to me to becoming more and more of a topic along with how people are classified today in terms of 'Race'. The word is INCLUSION. These next generations are having to deal with issues that was not crucial in the past. And, I believe that this fear of a Replacement is part of the issue. This fear is a reality for many White Supremacist in that they believe they will become extinct and for this reason, there has been a movement of genocide byway of corruption put throughout the ethnic world.
  12. @Troy For a second, I had a private laugh. I had forgotten for a brief second that I had asked this question about the celebrity Kim Kardashian because you replied by only using her FIRST NAME. This name is part of my family so, at first I was thinking, wait-a-minute! Most of family with this name absolutely could not pass! But on the sober side of your response, as you have said, there are some of my relatives who have intermixed and probably could be considered an oreo. One of my younger sister's in fact has three children from her husband, an AFrican American man but the two males are very fair skinned like their father. Then my sister separated from her husband and had a child with a White man and so my niece is very fair skinned and could probably pass if she chooses. But I do agree with @Pioneer1 in how this is such a confusion caused by America and also the western world governments. According to this American government, and when people fill out federal applications about their RACIAL CATEGORY, this is when it becomes a reality in what this government has done! White is a race! Black is a race! These FEDERAL categories are more defined for example; Black, African American or other and, White, European American or other, etc. We should not ignore this. America does define 'Race' by color and has done for so long that it gives people the choice, if they are so fair skinned to pick and choose and this is where @Pioneer1 is making a lot of sense. This kind of 'passing' does not hard people if they can do this to get ahead, but if you are a dark skinned African American, it is the African or Black traits that becomes a factor that can lead to oppression when White Supremacist movements are in affect. However, like what is going on today, with this trend happening again, it can also lead to fair skinned people and White people who choose to marry Black people becoming oppressed too! This kind of oppression occurred in Germany when the Nazi regime formed. White German women that had married Black men were forced to divorce their husbands and etc. Just this past weekend their was a march on Washington of a White Supremacist group! And President Biden spoke out against White Supremacy! This is so --ON POINT!!! This also brings to my mind another thread where the terms GROWTH RATE and REPLACEMENT THEORY was mentioned. I think that we as Black people need to be careful and not play into these phrases because I think it is White Supremacist people that are playing into an unnatural fear. This REPLACEMENT THEORY of them becoming extinct is the same thing that led to the attempted Black Genocide tha has been blotted out of our educational systems that occurred before slavery. And this REPLACEMENT THEORY is the fear, IMO, that led up to the Halocaust and the killing of many European Jews. Yes! This push for Gender inclusion absolutely correlates to this new trend of 'almost White people' claiming at will be either White or Black, when ever they want to do so in order to have a better life than other darker skinned and oppressed people of color. The western world and their categories are not based on a sure foundation, imo, and this is confusion!
  13. Ah! I get it now! @Pioneer1 Well said!
  14. Interesting point! @richardmurray I think this is a crucial point! In fact I did read that one of the leaders in Sudan, Hemedti did meet with the Eritrean leader but it was hush hush on what transpired. Then I also heard that the other leader met with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia. But I don't know how much help they are getting though, from these countries. Well, I agree. I recently read though, that the peace talks were organized in Saudi Arabia. I believe that the AU would have been a good place for peace talks. WHOA! @Pioneer1! Way to go! Yes, Brother GoBlack2Africa says that this conflict in Sudan is nothing but a Proxy War of America fighting against Russia! And he says that the media is not letting us know this whole truth. Well, I believe that our Black leaders over hear and the government should do right and they should be the ones letting us know the whole truth, not the media. It is difficult for rely on media to bring the whole truth, but for now, that is all that we have. So here are some brief videos to support what you have found: THANK YOU!!! Oh yes, but no, I absolutely do NOT believe that African leaders are stupid and easily manipulated. They are always being exploited, imo. And some of them may be selfish, while some may actually NOT be part of the countries they are leading. Some of them have infiltrated certain areas and brought in outside influence to serve the countries that they really are from. I have a feeling that in Sudan, the Arabs may also be a part of Sudan and also the Turkish government from the north. I especially am tuned in when it comes to the Turkish White people because that is how my ancestors got stolen. In fact, that is part of another underlying conflict too. I believe the Mahdi war is still an issue and that is why the outside influences do not want to involve the AU of which is headquarted in Addis Ababa. Turkey to move its Sudan embassy after ambassador’s car hit Turkey will move its embassy from Khartoum to Port Sudan after gunfire on ambassador’s car, foreign minister says. 6 May 2023 Turkey will move its embassy in Khartoum to Port Sudan after the Turkish ambassador’s car was hit by gunfire, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has said. “With recommendation from the transitional government and Sudan army, we decided to move our embassy temporarily to Port Sudan for security reasons,” Cavusoglu told reporters in the southern city of Antalya on Saturday. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/5/6/turkey-to-move-its-sudan-embassy-after-ambassadors-car-hit Will Ethiopia and Eritrea be dragged into Sudan’s complex war? https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/5/6/will-ethiopia-and-eritrea-be-dragged-into-sudans-complex-war?traffic_source=KeepReading WHY ARE YOU IN AFRICA? Again, Thank you @Pioneer1 !!!
  15. So they are starting this all over again!? Just as you have said, this was the way it was during slavery times. I believe that if some people are raised up in the Black culture and who may not be Black but bi-racial should be called Black especially if they want to be. But many people that are intermixed with Black and have nothing to do with the Black culture becomes a confusion if they are identified as being Black. I wonder why this would be going on today. I think that the Black culture today is different too, from the past but the reparations subject is based on slavery times, however, today there are many people being defined as Black American that are not culturally connected to the African American Descendants of Slaves, IMO. I have a question; Would Kim Kardashian be considered 'Black' because she was married to a Black man, Kanye and she has children from him, I think. So would she be considered a Black American? My answer would be that based on the past, she would because she would have probably had to live in a Black culture. For this reason, she may have been considered culturally Black however, her 'race' would still be White or Armenian. But what do you think. Are Bi-racial people today being called back for a specific reason, I wonder. Perhaps there is some type of financial gain involved.
  16. Very interesting post! So I don't understand why it would be your last. As you explained so well, I have heard other experts speak about this topic as well, even Europeans. I believe though, scientifically, all humans stem from an African origin and so, no matter what, it has been proven that even fair-skinned humans such as Europeans will not become extinct. It's the racist White people that cling to this ridiculous fear of becoming extinct. As a Biologist who have studied histology and looked into microsopes for many hours, I know that just like mostly all people of AFrican descent, mostly all people of European descent have a certain amount of melanin. They are a colored people too. LOL. The ancient scriptures reveal the genetic origins of color and the many forms of albinism which can affect all humans, and so, the extinction of fair-skinned people is just NOT going to happen. However, racism and White Supremacy is such a sickness of the mind, many people can't understand that is the issue that must be dealt with first in order the the humankind to thrive. Anyway, love your post, and your breakdown on the percentages in relation to the growth rates in certain countries. I can see the validity in what you have shared. WOW!
  17. I just popped in briefly to retrieve one of my earlier post and have to come back and read your post again! But no, your comments are not too much and I am so relieved that you are in the house!
  18. Here is another case where the student was videoed attacking a teacher. In this case the teacher was an older AFrican American woman and the student was also Black. The attack was brutal and the law did prosecute this teenager. The teacher confiscated the teens cell phone and it was for this reason that teen attacked the teacher. I understand why Deja Taylor's grandfather would probably believe that if the child was White, he would not be prosecuted for shooting a Black teacher, but times are changing now so, I suppose if the situation is bad enough to get public outcry, the law may be pressed to deal with Black-on-Black issues and White aggression against school teachers. Honestly though, it's been my experience that like this teacher, it's the mostly Black students that attack Black teachers but it's not usual for them to attack White teachers. And, I have had to deal with White students that have racist behaviors many times against me and Black students too, but I've not been physically theatened as I have by Black students. I would be surprised if that same Black student would have attacked a White teacher under the same circumstance that she lashed out at that Black teacher.
  19. @ProfD I completely forgot about this! Alternative schools! Yes, that is now a big question for me to think about. Why didn't the administration reject him from being in that school and recommend him to be put in an alternative school!? This is what Deja's attorney was getting at as well. He said that the school accepted the child so, why would the mother be prosecuted when it was their responsibility to direct that child to an alternative school? However, after the fact and the deed is done, yes, the mother should be held responsible for allowing her child to be able to access that gun and then use it. The GMA interview was about 2 minutes longer on another site and it was said that child had only been in public school last year for 2 months in Kindergarten and then the year before that, he was only in school for 2 months in Pre-K. So, I can see that the COVID epidemic also becomes a factor too! The mother was stuck with her own child and could not send him out to 'public school day care center' for the teachers to deal with and he may have gotten on her nerves. Also the 'grandfather' is the mother's grandfather and in that other interview he said that he was the child's Great grandfather. So, it seems that the young mother may not have had a nurturing mother in her life as well, imo. So, the Great grandfather is the one to have custody. Never considered this!
  20. Deja Taylor, Mother of 6-Year Old School Teacher Shooter in Virginia, is Charged This case is heated! I believe that this case will cause a lot of controversy! I know that I have so many questions that concern me. My first thoughts are that, as a school teacher myself, how should I feel if the law does not offer the teacher adequate relief? She was shot by a kid and she could be dead right now! He shot her in her abdomen! What about other young school shooters such as the Parkland Shooter, was his mother charged? The videos that show the mother, Deja Taylor's comments, only makes me more shocked! She was interviewed by GMA and, well, I watched it multiple times because I just could not believe what I was hearing! Apparently, about a week prior to this school shooting, Deja Taylor, had to attend school with her son, EVERYDAY! But, she explained that she had gotten another doctor for her son, and did not have to attend classes with her son anymore. So, she stopped going a week before the shooting! On GMA, Deja explained that two days before the shooting, her son became angry with the teacher when he tried to explain something to her. The teacher told him to go to his seat, and Deja said that her son threw his hands up and 'ACCIDENTALLY' knocked the teachers cell phone out of her hand. But the teacher's lawsuit stated that the boy slammed the cell phone down so hard that it cracked. For this incedent the child was suspended. But obviously, he was allowed to come back to school and now, he did more than just throw his hands up and knock ther phone out of her hand! WHAT!? I was a teacher! When the teacher told him to go sit down--that is where I stopped listening to the rest of Deja's rendition! What!? The kid needed to explain something to the teacher to the point that he needed to get up out of his seat and approach her while she is also expected to instruct other students!? I just can't believe this. Our society rewards bad behavior. This is so crazy. Deja lost custody of ther son who his now in the custody of her father [grandfather?] and he was alos interviewed. He mentioned that he feels that if the shooter was White and the teacher was Black, then the attention this story is getting would not be as much. I am shaking my head. I absolutely understand what he is saying, however, the fact that the teacher was shot by a child, just shocks me. There is no excuse for this kind of situation. If a child is raped by a pedophile, I don't care whether the Devil is White or Black. And another question, well, again I have a lot of questions. Where is the father!? Why is the mother the only one charged with this crime? How in the world did a child that young get access to his mother's gun!? The mother said the child is ADHD and she describes is wild behavior. I hope that someone can imagine what I am thinking on this score! LOL.
  21. My Goodness! @Stefan You certainly have unloaded a lot of information that I have never heard! I am so glad that you have shared this. I have never heard of 'the Wagner Group' but I am trying to understand. Even though I have not read about Russia having any activities in Sudan, I did believe it, but now, you just confirmed my suspicions. I have been reading about one of the leaders, the one in charge of the paramilitary force, Dagalo [i.e., Hemedti]. And I read that he did have something to do with the gold trade and Russia! I also read that his tribe is connected to the Baggara. I wa surprised to learn that he only has a 3rd grade level education and for this reason, leaders state that he could never become the supreme head. But if this is true, then maybe that is why he separated from the other leader. Maybe he has aspirations to be the leader, I wonder. Turn the violence tide in Sudan? I think that the Sudanians and many of the people in Africa have some level of religious beliefs too that may be used as an underlying justification for their cause and Black Americans may run into conflicts if this aspect is not considered. As for me, I don't believe it is easy to completely understand what is really going on by researcing on an individual basis. For example, what you have shared about Wagner, I would not even know where to look to even find this kind of information. So I am happy to be able to access this AALBC community. Thank you again!
  22. RIP Harry Belafonte! Harry Belafonte, 96, Dies; Barrier-Breaking Singer, Actor and Activist In the 1950s, when segregation was still widespread, his ascent to the upper echelon of show business was historic. But his primary focus was civil rights. He was 96. The cause was congestive heart failure, said Ken Sunshine, his longtime spokesman. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/04/25/arts/music/harry-belafonte-dead.html *****MY NOTE: I can't believe that he is gone! IMO he was an amazing man. May he Rest In Peace.
  23. @richardmurray I don't think that there is an easy way to answer this question imo. In a sense, I don't believe that dealing with certain issues like sewage problems in Black communities in a confrontational and violent manner would help the people suffering. If they would have protested, the question in my mind is how long would they have to protest before their voices would be heard? It great that this issue is being addressed but it is stressful to know that children were playing in areas where raw sewage existed in their communities. I read the entire speech of Frederick Douglas that was postedand I think that he believed that Chinese people should be allowed to immigrate to America without being oppressed and sent away along with any other kind of immigrants who have been welcomed into America. And so, if Obama think on the same lines as Frederick Douglass, then it makes sense to why some Black Americans feel their concerns were ignored! Man!
