I did specifically reference this point on the issue of 'Thursday' and 'Friday' however, again, I will restate what I shared even last year in an article I wrote about that concerns, the origins of our modern day THANKSGIVING holiday and addressed why it is held on the last Thursday in November!!!

The references I shared addresses this point completely and therefore, based on this date referenced in the Bible, the very date of the Crucifixion would be based on upon this major event; THE DAY OF ASCENSION.

THE DAY OF ASCENSION occurred 40 days after the Crucifixion on a Thursday, therefore if you count backwards from this date, it will confirm the actual day of the week of the Crucifixion. Another major confirmation would also be the Biblical reference of 'HIGH SABBATH' of which would be 'SATURDAY', the 6th day of the week. 

I also stressed that the 'day of the week' varies due to the ancient institution of the Passover Week set back during the time of the Exodus and at this time, the date for the Hebrew New Year was changed to begin on the evening of every day. For this reason, we know that the Crucifixion occurred on October 14 at even [6:00 P.M.] which would also be October 15 for the Hebrew-Jews. I will hopefully post the actual scriptures so that it will become better understood soon.

I don't even know where to begin on this subject... Years back as a new teacher in an inner school district they threw me 'what they thought was a failure' in every sense if the word. That was a uppity school but was changed to accommodate lower income Blacks. The white people were furious and because i was new i did not know. So i had a classroom full of black boys that scored low. It was rough because i didn't get any support. However by the end of the year...SURPRISE... 

Early in the morning the principals as usual are called by local news to give exam results. I did my usual got out of my car walked to my classroom prepared to unlock door and was greeted by principal, a Black man. I thought nothing of it. Then I kept getting strange greetings all morning, teachers peeking in my door to say hi... I was like--What in the hell is going on? I was given a bad review earlier and felt so abandoned. But I knew 'my stuff'! I used my own money for xerox paper, dissection frog order, earthworm order, etc. Finally my team lead came to my door and announced team meeting for lunch to review our student scores...

I can't believe it.

That makes no since imo.

I might have to make a correction on this point because I quickly responded. I had meant to go back and address this. However, I can comment now a little from another reference point:

[1] Because the Israelite day changed about 4000 years ago, therefore the actual NUMBER is distinctly different than the actual DAY of the week-- I will explain in more detail.

I do not understand politics very well. The way I understand it is federal holidays are defined a little different from national holidays. But again I am not sure.

A New Federal Holiday—THE DIWALI FESTIVAL … or Jesus Christ?

Day 1-Summers’ End-New Year & HALLOWEEN-
It’s NOT Solar but A Lunar Based Holiday; PART 2
 

Both major festivals are based upon the LUNAR CALENDAR or more correctly stated, all three (3) of these festivals are based on the MOON. Also, all of these festivals do correlate one to another in several ways. For instance, [1] The Samhain Festival/HALLOWEEN, [2] the CRUCIFIXION/Passover Festival and [3] the DIWALI Festival all revolve around the month of OCTOBER. But due to the variation of the moon cycle, Passover and the Diwali festivals are also rolling holidays. But at one point in time, for many western countries, certain aspects of the Saturnalia Festival were divided up and therefore observed at different times during the months of October, November, December, and/or January. The ‘Death theme’ aspect of the Saturnalia festival remained to be observed during the month of October under the name of HALLOWEEN. However, as the Saturnalia in the month of December, it became aligned with the winter solstice and climaxed on December 17 and the human sacrifice aspect became hidden in some cultures nevertheless, it continued to be historically linked. Today too, we call the December festival of the Saturnalia CHRISTMAS of which would be like the Diwali festival in its’ description as a ‘Festival of Lights’. There are also other striking correlations of all three of these festivals nonetheless that all revolve around the First Coming and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and of which all stems from the very First Passover (and other feasts) instituted at the time of the Exodus. Like the Saturnalia festival, the onset of the Christmas holiday would be a ‘Thanksgiving parade’ in the month of November and held on the same fashion as the ancient Roman Saturnalia Triumphal March. And at the end of the parade would be Saint Nicholas [i.e., Santa Clause] who carries a bag of booty, and he would be adorned in the ancient traditional RED attire. Amazingly too, in the Netherlands, in Europe, along with Santa Claus in their parade would be ‘SWARTE PIET’ [i.e., St. Peter, Black Peter] a rendition of the ritualistic parade and sacrifice of Apostle Peter of which would be another direct rendition of the ancient Saturnalia festival. 

September 14 became the New Year instituted at the time of the First Passover in ancient Egypt for Israel, however due to the moon cycle and the leap days, again this Israelite New Year was a rolling holiday and was always moved to be observed during October 14 every 3rd year. So, for the Israelites, their ancient new year festivals occurred in either September or October. On the other hand, the Diwali festival’s rolling holiday occurs in either October or November and based upon a solar/lunar Calendar [lunisolar]. Likewise, the Habesha people in the Horn of Africa today also base their new year on a lunisolar Calendar developed in modern times and September became the fixed month for their new year. Nevertheless, all of these holidays are again defined by the month of OCTOBER included in their origins and carry a theme about death that revolves around the victimization of Blue/Black individuals. The Blue/Black or Black/Bronze antagonist in Diwali, NARAKASURA [ie. NARAK-ASURA, also becomes a direct connection to the Biblical ethnic and antagonistic man, Ashur Shem upon which, in turn, became associated with the ethnic Syrians and later in ancient times also became associated with the Original Hebrew Israelites, such as the Habesha people in the Horn of Africa, as the ancient Israelites were regarded in ancient times as being a distinct type of Syrian people as well due to their maternal origins. And just like the more ancient Saturnalia ritual observance, all of these festivals revolve around DUAL THEMES and of two opposing Blue/Black and Brown African-typed males. It becomes a conflict of good versus evil, however, throughout times, the roles have been interchangeable within certain civilizations of just who was the antagonist or the protagonist. Moreover, in our new age, the god Jupiter replaced one of these lesser gods of this Black-vs-Black dual and soon the royal purple kingly robe was replaced by the more supreme red or crimson robe (crimson; reddish-purple), and the god becomes exclusively white and therefore the representation of ‘the god Jupiter’.

Because Saturnalia/Halloween would be the earliest observance and can be traced back to the earliest of times under different and descriptive names, long before the time of the Exodus, then it would be important to understand the origins of the major dual themes of this festival. Although, in the earliest of times, it can be traced back to ancient Anatolia [Turkey; Asia Minor] and as it spread to other more ancient civilizations, such as in ancient Egypt and even to the farthest reaches of the world, however, it was in the country of Italy at the time of the Roman Empire that this festival became defined completely. Prior to the rise of the Roman Empire and before their temples were constructed, the earlier Etruscans also observed this major dual themed affair, and it was said that a shrine of Hercules was constructed to mark the actual area before the Roman temple was built. And at some point, at the setup of the Roman Empire, an idol was also constructed to represent the main sacrificial victim, the god SAETURN. As in ancient Egypt, this idol too identified the god as being of low estate, and means that, like the statue of Joseph the son of Israel in ancient Egypt of whom was constructed an idol, the god Saturn was made of wood or at times perhaps some type of bronze. So, therefore the god Set [Saeturn] was erected and put in the Roman temple basement until the annual festival:

Based on other cult images of Saturn, the statue of the god in the interior 
was veiled and equipped with a scythe. The image was made of wood 
and filled with oil. The legs were covered with bands of wool which were 
removed only on December 17, the day of the Saturnalia. On this feast 
day, slaves were allowed temporary and family members exchanged gifts. [4]

The Temple in Italy – the Temple of Mercury
So therefore, the temple of the god Mercury was where the idol of Saturn was kept and on the day of the Triumphal parade, the idol was taken out of the temple in a ceremonial method. The statue was adorned with the purple or red royal attire and then paraded through the streets. At the end of the parade, the god Saturn, was stripped of the royal robe, cords wrapped back around his feet to symbolize that he was captured by the god Mercury, and this would become a reflection of the dual aspect of this ritual. The god Mercury was always represented by a high official and would ride at the back of the parade ahead of the god Saturn and all the captives and booty, and he would ride in a four-horse drawn chariot. The official would be dressed in a red toga robe of which, ‘the color red’, was the symbolism for ‘the god Jupiter’. At the end of the parade, which ended at the temple of Jupiter located at the top of the Capitoline hill, there would be other forms of fanfare. However, at the end there would also be various forms of sacrifices as well as more celebrations, entertainment, games, and food in banquet halls. But again, at the end of the march, the idol of the god Saturn was then ceremonially stripped of the royal attire and taken back into the basement of the treasury temple to symbolize his capture and defeat and thereby remain there until the next years’ parade. 

The temple Mercury was also known as ‘the Treasury Temple’ and connects to the elements of the god Mercury as the god of trade [commerce, mercantile], speed and travel. The god Mercury would also be in direct correlation to the Biblical man named Magog, a Black/Brown man, who headed up the ancient trade movements of his time and known by many, many other descriptive names in the secular scripts and in the Bible as well. He becomes the ‘father of the Cholcians’ [i.e., Nicolaitans, St. Nicholas…]. Today though, this history has been suppressed and the temple of Mercury became known as the temple of Saturn, which again was located at the bottom of the Capitoline hill. Modern historians write about another temple Mercury supposedly built around the same time span of the temple Mercury/Saturn in the late 400s BC; however, it was not located at the bottom of the Capitoline hill rather, it was constructed about two miles eastwards in the area of the Circus Maximus. The area of the Circus Maximus [i.e., a horse track area] and other nearby sites was where the ancient triumphal processions would begin. So, the god Saturn would be taken out of the temple Saturn [the temple Mercury] and taken to the Circus Maximus area to begin the march. The processions would march towards the west and finally end at the top of the hill of Capitoline. Modern historians also report about another temple Mercury built in the late 400s B.C. southwards on the Aventine hill that may have been built over an earlier Etruscan temple. An Etruscan shrine in that area also marks that the famous idol ‘the god Mercury’ stems from the early Etruscans whose name for this god Mercury was ‘the god Hercules’ [i.e., Heracles]. However, the only temple that became part of the Saturnalia Festival and the triumphal parade of the god Saturn was the temple Mercury at the foot of the Capitoline hill.

at the foot of the Capitoline Hill at the western end of the 
Roman Forum. The original dedication of the temple is

Although this history has been extremely suppressed, earlier sources [hidden sources] perhaps still in old encyclopedias report that the temple Mercury did not become known as ‘the temple Saturn’ until around the A.D. 130s and became associated with the planet Saturn [i.e., the new moving star; the Star of Bethlehem] at this time. The planet Saturn was the last of the ‘ancient planets’ of which came into orbit in our solar system at the birth of Christ marked by NASA as ‘the Great Conjunction’ of the time of Herod the Great. However, it was also the fourth new year of the planet Saturn that culminated at the very time of the Second Jewish Revolt; the Bar Kokhba Revolt of which over 600,000 Jews were killed, and the residue were banned from Jerusalem, driven out, and forced into slavery. The Roman idol, ‘the god Saturn’ was NOT defined as ‘a god of trade and treasure, however, he was known as ‘the god of agriculture’. That temple Mercury [Saturn] at the bottom of the Capitoline hill was definitely the treasury house which aligns with description of the god Mercury. Under the name of ‘Mercury’, ‘Hercules’, ‘Heracles’, ‘Hermes’ ‘Nicholas’ and so many more names, this god was also well known as a ‘messenger god’ of speed and travel. Howbeit, one of the most revealing names for this idol in association with ‘death’ directly connects him to the day of the week ‘WEDNESDAY’ and ultimately link him to the Saturnalia festival and Halloween’s origins in the month of OCTOBER and that would be various forms of his name as ‘Wednesday’, ‘Woden’s Day’, ‘Oden’s Day’, etc. The name ‘HALLOWEEN’ carries two significant meanings in one; ‘Hallow-Owen’ [Hallowed Owen] and ‘Hallow’s Eve’ [Sacred Evening], therefore it further confirms that Halloween has been based on the moon, hence a dark nighttime ritual death theme headed up by the god Mercury [Owen].  Likewise, the French name for ‘Wednesday’ [‘WODEN’S DAG] which would be ‘MERCREDI’ and would be another confirmation about the purpose of this god Mercury, the god of Commerce:

The Dual Themes of the Saturnalia Festival~HALLOWEEN
So, prior to the rise of the Roman Empire and long before the Etruscan period in Italy, the dual themes of Mercury versus Saturn etc. was observed much earlier in time in other name variations. However, the crucial aspect of these earlier dual themes, even up to and way beyond the Roman times, was that it was exclusively a conflict between two opposing Black males of which ‘the god Saturn’ was always cast as the doomed. It was not until after the rise of the Roman Empire that the hidden theme of the supreme ‘god Jupiter’ became manifested and became part of this public ritual of whom was linked to the symbolism of ‘the color red’.  But one of the earliest origins of the Saturnalia festival (Halloween) was in ancient Turkey (Anatolia). And like the Roman Empire includes in their festival, however, there was another dual theme that also occurred alongside of the male black-vs-black conflict and may have actually been the earlier theme, the Matriarchal aspect of the Saturnalia festival.  

So, in essence, the proper expression for the Saturnalia festival would actually be ‘the Saturnalia-Ops festival’ [i.e., Saturnalia-Ophalia] and this would be the complete description of two distinct dual rituals that occurred simultaneously and within the same month. And both dual themes carry an immense amount of history of dark hidden ritualistic practices of human sacrifice in various formats that has occurred in the earliest of times all over the world up to this day, as people migrated away from the central parts of the earth to the ends of this earth. And in ancient Egypt was one area where these dual themes became practiced and one particular observance was known as THE OPET FESTIVAL [i.e., Opet, Ops].

In Egypt, the Opet festival [i.e., Ophet, Tophet] was said to have been introduced into Egypt byway of the 18th Dynasty in the 1500s BC at which time it eventually became an enormous annual festival. From other newer areas, they also constructed roads to connect to the northern ports of the Mediterranean Sea to conduct trade with the White Greeks, Assyria, Troy and elsewhere to the north of Egypt and to the northeast world. However, this Tophet festival only revived a more age old dual black-on-black conflict that occurred in the earliest of times as well, in the Old Pyramid Age. The conflict of Osiris versus the Black Pig Seth. Amazingly, at this same time too, the Hyksos, who were in league with the Thutmosis’ rulers, began to revive the old god ‘Set’ to exploit for their own self gain. However, the Theban triad of Amun-re in Upper Egypt in the south came to later represent this early conflict and they, in essence became the conquered. On the other hand, the pharaohs of the 18th Dynasty walked into the temple of Thebes as the supreme Osiris of the Osiris-Isis-Horus triad of the north in Lower Egypt. The third day doesn't take the hours into account.
