Of course, the picture was photoshopped the woman you lust after does not exist in the real world. However, the blond hair is real. Everything you mention is a sterotype. But if you have any data, studies or proof beyond your word, I'd be happy to check it out. OK, so how do you explain a sista like Melody Hobson falling in love with an old white man who presents with none of the characteristics you claim women are biologically hardwired to find attractive?

Dude, I don't even make money on YouTube and I have more than a million views, thousands of followers, and hundreds of videos. There is no such thing is as a code for assured business success. If there were everyone would follow one a be successful. The best you can hope for from any such code is to increase your chances of success. I have had projects that has been successful, and I can't tell you how to replicate it. A strategy that worked in 2019 might now work in 2024. Besides you might not have the ability, desire, or resources to do something someone else did. I've had projects fail miserably and did everything by the book. There is no shortage of people selling such "codes" for online business success. I always look at these with caution, because if the code they are selling is so successful, foolproof, and lucrative, they would be doing whatever it was they were selling, right?

The liberal media will continue to provide Trump all the fuel he needs to ensure his message is amplified -- they can't help themselves. Jeffrey B. told The Washington Post not to endorse Kamala. When he purchased the newspaper, he and everyone else swore up and down that he would not influence the day-to-day operations of the publication. Of course this cause people to trust mainstream media less exacerbating the problem we have with mis/disinformation on social media where a substantial portion of the population (perhaps most) get their news.

There are many such lists. There are dozens of reading lists on this site alone. Here is one that was published around the time I started my website: The QBR 100 Essential Black Books. One of my favorites is Ben-Jochannan, Clarke & Van Sertima’s Reading Lists. It is even older now more than 40 years old. A great overview of contemporary fiction and nonfiction may be found on book cub reading list I share -- especially Go On Girl! book club's reading list.

This really belongs in the Black Excellence section, but I know more people will see it here. I've queued this video to start with Walter Mosley's introduction of the Warrior Publisher, Paul Coates. Read the speech here. The video is more than 2 hours long. and includes performances by Jon Baptiste. Also, Percival Everett won the fiction award (I was hoping the police were not gonna bust in there and gun him down )

Yes that had a destabilizing impact on the entire continent another reason many Africans were hoping for a Trump victory. I'd be VERY surprised if Burton created that meme, it is way off brand. If you can share a link I would go to social media to check that out. Once you start reason you will discover what is important. Here is a video of a Ben Okri that I shot where he describes what to read. Again no specific books, but the why is helpful.

Sources and algorithms. We are not getting the same "news" -- especially id you sources of news is social media. All of the links you provided @Pioneer1 were from MSN, so you are allowing Microsoft to choose your news stories. Microsoft choose wisely as you are now here, apoplectically sharing five of their links! How many times have you shared 5 links to AALBC.com in one shot? Think about the power of the algorithm Now I'm not saying these stories are all wrong, but they have biased your perspective.

Not exactly. Culture defines what is attractive more than any inherited characteristics. You often see Black women wearing blond wigs in daily life. If you spotted a white woman sporting an Afro that would look absurd -- tantamount to wearing Black face. There is a reason you don't see Katy Perry or Barbara Streisand rocking wearing Afros.

Funny I was just thinking about Black Lives Matter, where have they been? I not active on social media, so I probably don't see their activities very much. But there was a time where they were regularly covered in the mainstream media and Black media. Nothing related to BLM gas crossed my desk in at least a year, maybe two... Years ago, I thought Occupy would have a real impact on our society - even more so than BLM. I was very wrong about that. It seems to have a real impact, like the Civil Rights movement you really have to work both within the system and amongst the people. Hey Harry, did you hear the TD Jakes was known as a "Power-Bottom" during Diddy'a Freak-Offs (Lord forgive me for gossiping ). For the record, IMHO being a "power-bottom" (I had to ask Chat-GPT what that was) at a "freak-off" is fine as long as everyone involved are consenting adults -- even if you are a Bishop in the Church. -
Get a free audiobook of Octavia E. Butler’s prescient novel Parable of the Sower from Libro.fm until Nov 22, 2024! Download now! The novel’s depiction of a society grappling with deep divisions, the erosion of trust in institutions, and the rise of populist rhetoric calling for a return to perceived former greatness will resonate with readers—especially today. Butler’s novel, originally published in 1993, includes a presidential candidate who promises to “make America great again.” Read our Review ▶

I was being facetious @Pioneer1. The step-by-step instructions you seek cannot be provided so easily. Seriously, my second sentence above is key. What can you do that others are willing to pay for? Once you determine that, then you can find some book or take a course on how to start an online business.

Well, this is why people watch boxing. They always have some reason to support one pugilist over the other. You apparently forgot what it was like to be 20 something

@frankster specifically do you consume sativa? What percentage of HTC is it always through smoking? Hire often do you smoke. There are a class of people I know who smoke everyday, and are seemingly dependent on it. I can’t see where that is a benefit.

@umbrarchist I assume you know this guy’s opinion is no more valuable than anyone’s here. What did he say that compelled you to share his video? MA and OK are very different places, they may as well be different countries. I wouldn’t want to live in either place long term, but I’d probably give MA an edge because of transportation, proximity to other places, and cultural diversity.

The vast majority of the planet is deserted so if the aircraft was to crash land here, most likely it would be in the ocean or deserted area. You mean like landing here -

Thanks @frankster @ProfD I wouldn’t group the footage recorded by Air Force personnel with the azz probe crowd. The Air Force information is much more compelling. @Pioneer1 it is very possible that we are completely unable to understand communications from civilizations that have visited us, because they are so far advanced. It would be like us flying airplane to a deserted island encountering a new species of marsupial. The marsupial will see us, be afraid or curious, but they wouldn’t understand a single thing we had to say to them. -
… Holyfield’s ear that is too much.

Dick is still alive?! @umbrarchist that was an interesting chart. Having lived in Oklahoma for more than a year and a half and visiting cities like OKC, Norman and historically Black towns like Boley. The stats, assuming they are factually, don’t resonate. It makes OK sound like a terrible place to live. It is not. that said, I would not drawn conclusions about the people those states based upon those maps. It would be no different than coloring in the entire country red and saying this country voted for Trump. It would be meaningless in terms of describing the individual people or their communities.

Melody’s book was the top selling book by a back person last month. Because it is rude to gossip about someone’s love interest —especially when it is a black man telling Black women who they should love. Now men talking amongst men is a different story. Marrying strictly for “love” is a relatively new concept in the annals of human civilization and probably not the best idea in the world given modern results. I don’t think blind love or physical attraction was part of Hobson’s calculus for marrying Lucas. I’m also sure Mellody ain’t tryin’ to holler at me on anyone else on this forum… you can conjure reasons of your own for that or disagree. I try not to spend too much time contemplating other people relationships I have enough difficulty figuring out my own

Peripheral related: I have an African buddy who assures me Africans preferred a Trump victory. When Trump was last president, there was far less meddling in African affairs by America.

@Pioneer1 Michelle Obama is firmly with inside the black bourgeoisie class. How do you reconcile that with your statement:

Oh that is easy. Figure out a service or product that you can provide which other people are willing to pay for. Otherwise try the following. Craft a compelling up a sob story and start a go fund me campaign. Buy a mailing list and email everyone on in saying you have video of them jerking off on Porn hub and you want $1,000 otherwise you’ll share the video on TikTok. buy Bitcoin. Go to Chat GPT, and tell it to write 40,000 word for a book entitled “how to make money on the internet.” Then sell that book on Amazon.

(1) yeah I dislike that about social media as well. As far as I know you can’t even boldface characters in your posts. And the whole thing about eliminating hyperlinks or using the algorithm to diminish outbound links is a non-starter for me. One of the benefits of controlling, what people can post however is that you can greatly control what the social media platform looks like. I don’t know if you remember My Space but that place was a complete disaster in terms of what it look like. (2) Banning opinions like this that differ from my own or ones that I don’t like what make this forum boring. Besides I learned a great deal more with opposing points of views and others challenging your opinions — that is far more interesting. Then echo chambers social media encourages. but when you have a massive platform and people are spreading lies like vaccines, cause autism, you run the risk of causing serious problems so I can understand why some accounts need to be canceled— because lives are literally at risk. I know I’ve said it a zillion times before; but the web was far better off before the handful of the super powerful massive sites took control. I don’t think most people have been around to have a clue about this. But there is a lot we can do about it now….
