  1. Hummm, if the results of the last election do not tell you this, then facts apparently don't matter, and we can't have a meaningful conversation
  2. @Delano what did you use for your training?
  3. @ProfD It makes a little difference what those voters are called when the bottom line is that the Republican party now appeals to the majority of American— at least the ones who vote.
  4. Ok @ProfD, but where did you get this data? I still expect the Bkack pollution to be larger than 50 million, and to grow to be a larger percentage of the overall population and it is now.
  5. The Republican party is quickly becoming the party of the forgotten working class, the common man, the masses. This was supposed to be the Democrats sweet spot. this is demonstrated by the fact that Donald Trump earned, so far, 3 million more votes then Kamala Harris. This is significant. as so, many Americans feel that Trump will serve them better than Harris and the Democratic Party. Trump will be president soon, and for the sake of America, my family, and myself I want him do well. People have to go out and vote during the midterms in two years. The Democrats need to identify and groom a couple of candidates who can take on whoever the Republicans field as their next presidential candidate (I’d be astonished if its JD Vance).
  6. YouTube can be very lucrative if you can get people to watch a videos and as you become more popular that brings additional opportunities to make even more money.
  7. Do you create amulets or talismans? Do you wear them now?
  8. Where did these stats come from? The current black population.(2022) was 48 million and that’s on a growth curve. How do you explain the projected dramatic decrease over the next two decades? Obviously, all the media you’ve seen is not all the media that is generated. But let’s leave that aside for now. are you saying that the news sources that you’re consuming is working in cahoots with Donald Trump??
  9. @Delano there may be no one else who has developed a system like yours. But that does not discount AI”s ability or potential to do something similar or even far superior not exactly AI can develop novel strategies based upon things that it has been trained on. I think you guys are looking at it the wrong way: @Delano for example, has come up with a novel way of making predictions. He makes it sound as if he pulled this completely out of thin air without any input whatsoever. Delano is discounting that he comes with biology (DNA), experience, learned knowledge, environmental factors, and all of these things informs — indeed makes possible — all of the ideas he generates. AI is similar. One interesting example was an AI learned the game Alpha Go without explicit instruction, on its own, through trial and error. It beat the best player in the world with a move that experts initially thought was a mistake. However, the move turned out to be a stroke a genius that the best players in the world could not see. no human could’ve programmed that move because no human being was capable of making that move. That was like 10 years ago.
  10. I didn’t. Most of that money was circulated amongst the rich. Door knickers and other grassroots workers are volunteer.
  11. I know it is hard to wrap one’s mind around this.
  12. … a ton of money, and without the headache of being president.
  13. Did the republicans do that, or did they appeal to folks for different reasons?
  14. Kamala was objectively a better candidate than the former First Lady — despite what that silly poll says. It is hard to believe you are serious sometimes @Pioneer1
  15. She’ll be put out to pasture like the Obamas and trotted out when the next presidential candidate needs soon support. Much of the work that needs to be done will be “beneath” a former VP. help me put something into perspective; who did you vote for?
  16. I disagree. I think creativity is part of the human condition. We are all born with it. Sure there are degrees to individual levels of creativity. Different forms of creativity at different vary in value over time, but again we are all creative creatures— it is why we are not swinging from trees like our cousins. AI is already creative and this seemingly will only get better over time.
  17. Period. That is good.
  18. Perhaps from the perspective of being a user. However, the impact cannot be understated and much the same way social media helped give rise to the presidential candidate Donald Trump— you don’t have to be a user to the have been affected. Again, I think you are underestimating it. Perhaps it will come up with something completely novel and superior to what you’ve created. And an ideal world AI would allow us to become even more creative and increase productivity by orders of magnitude. But the ideal world seems unlikely given the collective greed of those that own, the technology.
  19. @Delano the article discussed the current state of AL. What the future holds, we do not know, but it may be very different than what is currently possible.
  20. Absolutely not. This is a pipe dream man, let out go, SMH I think this is more reflection of a white racist, patriarchy more than an ability to communicate effectively. Trump won the popular vote. The American people have spoken loud and clear. The Democrats were indeed naive, dumb even. They should’ have had a convention and selected a white man to replace Biden. Popularity also matters with Americans few knew Harris or the older white guy she ran with. (he is actually younger than me, but presents much older.) Mzuri’s diatribe is one that I’ve heard articulated many times by a wide variety of people, including black men. It is the same reasoning I heard articulated when Trump ran the first time. I’m not surprised he won this time either. Again, Trump versus a woman: Trump is going to win every time.. I will admit, however, that conversations like this with a variety of opinions and some humor thrown in are not as frequent as they have been in the past. The variety of opinions is what makes the form interesting to me. Thank you.
  21. It’s not a matter of a black woman. It’s a matter of not wanting a woman of any color. From jump, it never occurred to me that if Hillary couldn’t beat Trump, how in the heck could Kamala? It is still too early to call it now, but it does not look good for the Dems on any level.
  22. @Pioneer1 i’m beginning to believe you are spending too much time around the wrong people. Your image of Black people is terrible. It a yeah sounds like something a white raciest would say about us. Sure, there are Black people who fit the description you describe but they steer of no consequences, as they are too few. it could be I spend too much time with boogie negroes Keep in mind a subset of so called white people have only been in charge a relatively short period of time. Given we are only 14% of the population, have a history of enslavement and Jin Crow we aren’t doing too bad as a people. of course we can do better— and we will
  23. @aka Contrarian did you ever see Q perform live? was his married to white women a source of controversy at the time? If it was it dies not seemed to have hurt his career — which was stellar RIP
  24. I don’t know maybe she spent a lot of time with white people feels comfortable with them? @Pioneer1 tell your boy to join a church. I hear there are plenty of sisters there. Go to a yoga class — any class —join a pickle ball league. Go to literary events…. Not off they are looking for another black man. I think we are all largely bound to people within a narrow band of people in our socio-economic level. Course if you are super attractive you can marry up.
  25. What will that existence be like and how do you know? I just read Cynique’s response after I posed my question, so I realize it is redundant
