  1. 1 point
The meme in this post, which is only a speculation, conveys with illustrations that humans have physical counterparts of the universe. Which would further suggests that we are replicas of it. Everybody has their own theory and when it comes to the truth, who knows?
  2. @Troy to use the word mainsplain is like a white person using the n-word.. It's unacceptable and you further prove the point of the woman you're attempting to "mainsplain" ...So no men haven't flipped the script - they're only outting themselves. @CyniqueI read the Best "mainsplainin episode on twitter - Dude told a woman about what an Atlantic article "actually meant" and it turned out she was the author. He suffered a 3rd degree twitter burn
  3. Today the Black voice has far less power than it has in past say 50 years. The fact of the matter is that we no longer own the platforms to wield any power. We have fewer magazines, newspapers, radio stations, websites. The few platforms that remain carry very little weight or influence amongst our people. When was the last time anything substantive was quoted, from a Black owned platform, in anything you have read? Our voices are heard solely due to largess or greed of white folks. They tell us who and what is important, and therefore how to think. This is the reason we support their businesses and not our own. It really is that simple. Unless white folks substantiate what we do; it is unimportant to us, and they do not substantiate anything unless it will make them some money. I refer this as the "white-cosign."
  4. Pioneer I may have been wrong on both counts. In underestimating you and overestimating Mel Cynique and Troy.
  5. @Troy Women coined the term "mansplain". It's actually a put down, and is originally the exclusive domain of women, reacting to men who think they know everything. That's the reason for not simply saying "explain". Here's a definition: to comment on or explain something to a woman in a condescending, overconfident, and often inaccurate or oversimplified manner:
  6. One of the best ways to honor our Black war veterans would be to: 1. Put some of our best and brightest minds into federal positions so that they can influence our foreign policies and keep us out of needless wars like Vietnam, Korea, and Iraq....where so many Black soldiers have already lost their lives. 2. Encourage Black youth to actually JOIN the armed forces so that they can learn how to fight and defend themselves against enemies both foreign AND domestic. Say what you will, but it seems to me that the military often times gives our young people the needed discipline they're not getting at home or at school.
  7. @Cynique I haven't a clue .... But I think @Pioneer1 just taught us something!
