Google Ads Has anyone noticed that the Google ads are gone? If found them increasingly intrusive and irritating. I've also reduced the number ads running throughout the rest of the site. My Google ad revenue is down substantially, but it is worth it, at least for now. Basically, I let Google put ads anywhere they wanted and they really took advantage of the site. They would have full screen ads pop up as you went from one page to the next, The would out two or three ads (often the same ones) right in the middle text you are trying to read. If I put ads on my site, the way Google inserted them, Google would bury their search results, for providing a bad experience to visitors. Amazon Links For several years now I have been anti-Amazon going as far as dropping virtually all links to Amazon's site. However, I have decided to link to Amazon's Kindle store to sell ebooks. I used an alternative vendor to sell eBooks, but the problem is no one buys ebooks from the vendor's site. Amazon has created an effective monopoly on eBooks. So rather than not sell eBooks I have decided to just link to where people will go anyway. I actually don't like this, but it is a pragmatic decision that I hope I do not end up regretting. I really have no choice today if I want to profit off the sale of eBooks. As always, I'm open to comments.

The Russian/Ukrainian conflict had been ongoing and has only intensified because Putin doesn't want them to join NATO. Putin knows how the current US leadership thinks. Putin doesn't want NATO on his border. The G7/8 and G20 Summits are held for select countries to collectively make decisions and plans for the present and future as far out as decades ahead. IMO, Putin or nobody else will be using nukes at any time. It remains to be seen how long he will be allowed to smack Ukraine around like an under-performing trick. It could last for years. Some white folks believe there are too many non-white people in the world. In their warped minds, directly or indirectly starving millions in Africa, India and elsewhere is a form of population control. Neither China nor the US wants any smoke with the other. China is the US labor force. America does not want to pay its own labor force a decent living wage to produce goods. The most wealthy folks are happy with the arrangement. Every conflict around the world does a few things...1) destabilize government, 2) reduce population and 3) sell more weapons, goods and services. Most military personnel don't really think about what they have signed up to do. To kill or be killed for national interests doesn't dawn on most people until they enter a war zone and/or before they retire. Geopolitics is a dirty business. It's all fun and games until the fighting and killing starts. 😎

@TroyExactly! Greg's idea of history is "hearsay" from racists. Money is the great equalizer. Given a choice between a fine, well-off black man and a fine well-off white man, me and most other black women would choose the black guy. That's really hitting the jackpot! the white guy would just be an "also ran" who got beat in the home stretch. @DelanoLOL You are "incredible"- in a good way. You get points in the Renaissance man designation for being so conversant in the classics.

It's actually more than $20 billion each year, when loan forgiveness, outright grants and most favored nation trade status funds are included.

What are you gonna do...... When gun laws are STRICT....racists in authority want to use it to target and lock up Black folks for carrying weapons. When gun laws are LENIENT...racists want to use THAT as an excuse to target and kill Black folks they see with weapons on them. Seems to me, one of the only real solutions to this problem is for Black folks to not only arm themselves but POLICE themselves also so the racists don't have an excuse to come into our communities doing dirt.

However, this decision will probably open the floodgate of states in favor of open carry. Also, the decision will potentially undermine the gun control legislation a bipartisan group of senators plan to introduce this week. 😎

Mel Hopkins JUST TODAY!!!!! During casual conversation, I asked my female manager....who is a Black woman....what her ideal man would look like and before SHE could answer another female supervisor who was walking pass said IDRIS ELBA. The first one said she took the words right out of her mouth. Then they started falling over eachother high-fiving and talking about "guuuuurl" this and "guuurl" that. What I found REALLY interesting was that the second woman was Asian (of Japanese descent). But she was raised in Oakland California so perhaps that influenced her a bit...lol richardmurray if kardashians represent the so called better class woman, ala privileged, who the black guy quoted seems to think is white then black men need to worry about all those relationships That's why we need to change our racial classification system and make it more accurate. I don't care too much for using COLORS when identifying races like "Black" or "White". I prefer the terms "Caucasian" for the people we classify as White. The Kardashians may not be the typical Western European White people but they and other Armenians for the most part are certainly in the Caucasian race. But they have a lot of Arab ancestry in them which is why so many of large butts, tannish skin, and Black hair. But in my opinion, those physical features don't take them out of the Caucasians category. richardmurray & ProfD I have a double standard: I have MUCH more of a problem with Black women having sex with White men than I do with Black men having sex with White women. Especially attractive well mannered Black women.

Our brother George didn't deserve to die...and CERTAINLY not in the manner he did; however for about 2 years now I've been saying our sister Breonna Taylor should have been the modern face of an innocence killed by racist authoritarian aggression. She was simply in her own home minding her own Black business before she was executed by a firing squad of devils. Martin Luther King had the good sense to choose an icon that was relatively pure and blameless so that assholes like Greg and other racists couldn't use their shady backgrounds as justification for the mistreatment of our people.

George Floyd could not have ingested a massive amount of Fentanyl because it would have killed him immediately. Many black folks are considered overweight according to the body mass index chart white folks developed back in the 1940s. Otherwise, George Floyd was murdered by a racist cop because he was a *big* black man. A white man would not have been arrested or detained for a similar crime. The same race soldiers would have given a white man $20 and a ride home. 😎

Regardless of how the media tried to criminalize the victim, George Floyd did not deserve to be murdered. While George Floyd may not have set out to become a martyr, his murder put a bullseye on American police brutality. In fact, I think George Floyd's execution date should be another federal holiday to commemorate all of our brothas and sistas wrongfully murdered by race soldiers. 😎

Europeans amassed their wealth by colonizing other countries and pillaging their natural resources. AfroAmericans were not born in Africa so it's nonsensical and an insult to believe or suggest we can go back there.😎

One white man started World War II. One white man started the dust-up that is the Russian/Ukrainian conflict. Seems *dumb* that millions of white men cannot stop one of their own from destabilizing world peace and/or wreaking havoc on another country. I would not brag on the intelligence and bravery of white men who run around killing millions of people for no reason. 😎
