  1. if you start a brawl with another parent you are not a failed athlete. Youโ€™re just a failed human being. Parents can often be the worst when it comes to their kids and sports.
  2. This society is very strange in terms of what gets defined as EDUCATION. In 7th grade we had to spell ANTIDISESTABLISHMENTARIANISM. I thought it was stupid then, but that was after reading science fiction for 3 years. I read A Fall of Moondust that same year. Clarke used Plato's Allegory of the Cave to explain infrared perception. How are people supposed to create their Paradigms of Reality, both physical and social? I often think the educational system is designed to maintain controlled ignorance. Now we have to deal with the havoc created by Trump. Let's trust economists who can forget about consumer Depreciation for Seven Decades. ๐Ÿคฃ
  3. I don't believe the planet is supposed to be ruled by any nation. Living things were put here to make it alive. Some humans just find it necessary to disturb the peace and harmony. Live and let live.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. richardmurray ALL Black people on the planet have had SOME influence on the planet to various degrees, but none have had the impact and influence that Black Americans have had and continue to have.....politically, socially, and entertainment wise. We don't KNOW the future, however I'd argue that if the ENTIRE world were to collapse...including the United States...then perhaps the entire Black population of the planet may be better off because that would allow us to start a new civilization. However if ONLY the United States were to collapse but the rest of the world remained intact...NO...ABSOLUTELY NOT...would the rest of the Black population be alright. I'd argue that things would probably be WORSE because that role of "world leader" will quickly be filled by OPENLY racist anti-Black nations like China or Russia or some Arab nation. And unlike some in the U.S. government...they will be less "covert" in their various anti-Black operations. No sir, we're better off with the U.S.A. in charge...in MY opinion. Atleast with the U.S.A. incharge....you have enough Black Americans WITH power to influence America to intervene and keep the other racists from being TOO violent toward the rest of the global Black population. Look at our influence on de-colonizing Africa and the role we played in ending Apartheid in South Africa! That wouldn't have happened as quickly if there was no U.S. with her Black American influence. We don't need Russia or fucking China ruling the world. They'd enslave and decimate much of the Black population and wouldn't feel guilty about it. The Arabs would keep the Black WOMEN to fuck...but they'd probably treat the Black MEN like they did for centuries when they first started enslaving Africans - make "eunuchs" out of many of them. Which gives you an idea of how they see YOU and what they'd DO to you if they ruled the world. No sir..... I say we keep America incharge UNTIL a better nation comes along to rule the planet. Like a sorry ass husband who's barely helping a woman get by....lol. He may not be ideal...but if she ain't got nobody else then he'll just have to "do" until a better man comes along....lol. U.S.A....U.S.A...U.S.A.....all day.
  5. Didn't realize you were referring to Black folks specifically. Black folks don't have a monopoly on forming tribes for destructive purposes. The mafia, gangs and cults, etc., are tribes formed by non-Black folks in opposition to members of their own race. Biker gangs formed by white dudes beef and brawl when they cross paths with their rivals.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  6. Just recently as yesterday, ABC's "Good Morning, America" devoted about 10 minutes to a video showing 2 boys from opposing all-white hockey teams getting into a brawl that disrupted the game, with parents also getting involved. The discussion focused on how parents are the biggest culprits in these kind of disputes and portrayed them as the villains because they think the coaching is lax or biased. I really don't believe the media intentionally allows race to be a factor in what goes viral. Whether or not the videos are bizarre seems to be the determining factor. The local newscasts in Chicago frustrate me because they seem to be very reluctant to show pictures of perpetrators when reporting crimes. The only way i can tell if they're black or not is by the names or the neighborhood where the offenses occur. Recently, swarms of youngsters have been roaming the streets of Chicago's down town "Loop" area, harassing people, vandalizing stores and damaging cars. The media won't film them close up but they appear to be black or Hispanic kids. Since I've divorced the black race, and only associate myself with my "tribe", I don't blindly defend niggas anymore. They is beyond hope. So, shoot me. My tribe consists of slave descendants who, when it comes to Blacks, think like me and at this point there are only about 10 people left in it. Nor do we have much use for white people, especially the MAGA Retrumpicans! Hispanics, Asians, and NIGERIANS are also disposable. We only claim those who represent our philosophical approach, and our discriminating rationales. Not to worry. We will soon become extinct. ๐Ÿ˜ž Shout out to Senator CORY BOOKER! ๐Ÿ‘
  7. Correct. Humans are social creatures. Rarely does a human being go through life in solitude. Most belong to a tribe(s). Most tribes are formed the moment a man and woman decide to procreate and become a family.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. IMO, humans are tribal by nature. In complex societies, people belong to more than one tribe.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. I vaguely remember a similar situation that went viral last year, and it was not as bad as Kerrigan, the ice skater being hit by Hardin's hit man. It was probably on the lines of this viral video. It was also about high school students. I can't remember the story completely, but it went viral and was picked up by big news agencies. It involved a girl that was knocked out and had a concussion. Because the girl that hit her was Black, the story blew up. I vaguely remember that the Black girl was targeted as the perpetrator, but later, it was brought out that the White girl was one of the instigators and the situation swelled to a street brawl. And all because the Black girl knocked out the White girl, the story blew up and the Black girl became cast as the perpetrator. So, the fact that this story went viral and was picked up by GMA seems like what is happening today with stories that would have been aired on a Dr. Phil show in the past. So, perhaps, if the 'small' cameras are there to film these kind of incidences in a 'small' community and ends up going viral on a social media site, then big news agencies see this as a good human conflict that they can also benefit from picking up as well. Today, this seems to be happening a lot. Freedom of speech and opinion cannot be controlled as it has been in the past by bigger agencies now, and so I suppose they have decided to capitalize on these kinds of stories since they cannot control popular opinion on a smaller scale anymore. I remember another story at a college campus where a drunk girl insulted another student working at a night desk and, had it not been for social media, the victim would have been completely ignored and dubbed the villain. The victim, in the past, would have been told that her story was not newsworthy, but today, this girl was supported as being completely victimized. So, I suppose, it's a matter of public opinion in some cases and these kind of stories, may or may not get news coverage. I think the college was in Kentucky and there was a 'small' camera that happened to roll on the incident.
  10. Thank you for our inheritance. There's a saying about inheritance. "70% of wealthy families will lose their wealth by the second generation, and 90% will lose it by the third." " The saying highlights the challenges of maintaining wealth across generations. It emphasizes the importance of passing down wealth and knowledge faithfully to the next generation." Late boomers (Gen Jones), Gen X, and Millennials never learned how to keep the rights we gained from your generation. We squandered and lost our inheritance. Now we're here.
  11. @ProfD &Pioneer1: I know you 2 are not serioudly asking me why my generation didn't break the bonds of white supremacy and form our own political party! Not seriously suggesting that we were too dumb to organize and rebel against the most powerful country in the world with the goal of abolishing white supremacy. I could remind you about the existence of the Black Wall Street settlement in Tulsa, Okalahoma, and what happened in 1921 to this paragon of black achievement when it simply dared to defend itself from resentful white racists. I think the most obvious answer to your absurd question about why my generation didn't form our own political party, is that we wanted to become a part of the mainstream , not independent of it. MLK convinced us that integration was the answer to racism; the gateway to equality. If Blacks could just be judged by "the content of their character rather than the color of their skin", he assured us we'd all be one big happy family sitting at the same table. And in spite of what you 2 continue to downplay, Blacks did weave themselves into the fabric of the Democratic party, gaining power and control at local levels in urban areas as well as representation in the State and national Congresses. Even rewarded with a black Supreme Court Justice in the person of Thurgood Marshall. This was also the era of acquiring voting rights and Equal Opportunity Employment. We were still "Negroes" during this period and through passive resistance, boycotts and demonstrations we did make progress with the rise of a viable black middleclass, paving the way all along for those who we passed the torch to. And what did the ensuing Black Power/Afro-centric, BLM Wokeness phases of the struggle get us? A black president who became fodder for the crabs in a barrel syndrome and a soundly-rejected woman of color presidential candidate. And what is the immediate state of the Black America union? Dazed znd confused. Don't ask me anything else about what Blacks need to do. to neutralize the white power structure. I'll be damned if I know, and I'm too busy hating what white Retrumpicans are doing to the entire country as they prime America for a take over by the MAGA Klan.
