  1. @Deli just wish i could wrap my brain around what you are saying about time markers because it sounds so much more intriguing than all of the BS going on in the prosaic world. Check this out: I seem to have some kind of connection with my computer, I think it sometimes censors or monitors me like when i impulsively key malicious or angry things, they disappear from the screen. It's like I generate waves that are picked up by an entity that gains access to me through the computer. (I've always felt that i have a spiritual guide or alter ego that keeps me in check.) Usually what disappeared, later proved to have been a good thing because what i keyed was better left unsaid and could have had undesireable repercussions. Some of these phenomenon are difficult to explain. I currently feel I am shifting back and forth between parallel universes as in the case when i type a phrase within a sentence; when i proof what i have typed, the phrase appears twice as if I keyed it in 2 different universes. Does that make sense??? LOL

  3. Point taken regarding Nina Simone. Everything about her beauty (look, voice, demeanor, etc.) is appreciated by a man who's totally secure in his own masculinity. To me, the women listed are extremely beautiful too and to varying degrees, I believe they could potentially give off that Nina vibe as well. Especially Lauryn and Viola. Of the 3, I'd choose Viola Davis every time and twice on Sunday. I wanted to beat my man Denzel Washington azz aka Troy in Fences the way he had my girl Viola snotting and crying and sh8t. Viola was gangsta in Widows so I didn't have to f8ck Liam Neeson up.

  4. ************************************************************************************ @Cynique You were doing hair at the post office. That's what you said. I would post it here except the archives aren't available. I see that I have made you angry, and I apologize. I was just having some fun messing with you but I guess you cannot tolerate this anymore. Let me leave you alone. ************************************************************************************

  6. ************************************************************************************ @Cynique I don't know what all of your personal business has to do with anything, but you aren't the only person who had a soft government job. While you were working at the postal sweat shop sorting the mail, I sat in a temperature-controlled office doing occasional light typing. (Edited for TMI) And I still won't be their guinea pig. Girl, please. ************************************************************************************

  7. Hilarious. But, nah bro, I'm a hood n8gga who stays on code. I'd do a strip search physical before anyone could step foot on the bus. Let some nutz hang and watch the left hook and cane swing. Singapore style.

  8. Cynique You don't know jack. I know YOU...lol.....and much better than you THINK I do. Your hearsay figures are just as vague as mine. Who is "they"? "They" are the racists, who control most of this society. The same ones who gave Black men Syphilis in Alabama and a host of other diseases yet to be uncovered. @Mzuri and pioneer. i feel confident in saying that in this country with a population of close to a billion people, millions of these people have received the shot and not had serious or fatal complications. This from the same person who said that the Electoral College started after the Civil War...lol. Girl BYE.... Mzuri I was amazed at the speed with which the vaccines were developed. Most people were. And that was one of the CHIEF objections to taking it. So those who were pushing it had to double back and explain that they were working on it since atleast 2011 with some sort of RNA experiments. Which means they pretty much ALREADY had this mess made and ready years ago and just needed and excuse to deliver it. You can go with whatever narrative you choose, but some of us refuse to be a government guinea pig. I'm not trying to see if I will develop blood clots or anything else. I'm doing fine sheltering in place and having all my necessities delivered to my porch. If the rest of you all want to run around town, get on a plane, train, bus, subway, taxi, wherever else, and let everybody breathe on you - And that's EXACTLY what they want to use you as. A guinea pig to experiment on. They're trying to figure out how much GDP they can get out of the U.S. workers versus how many will get sick and die or become so disabled they can no longer work. They are looking for a "sweet spot" where they can keep the economy rolling along and sacrifice so many lives with it. No thank you. They can play THAT game by themselves.

  9. "gone" totally White? There girl has ALREADY been pretty much White for the past 15 years or so with that nearly White skin and blonde hair hanging all over the place. Look like the same old nearly White Beyonce to me. This is one of the reasons I'm opposed to the "one drop" rule. It's too easy for half and even nearly White people to rise to the top of the community and benefit from their phenotype while at the same time CLAIMING to be "Black". In Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia and other urban areas you'll find entire communities of light-skinned AfroAmericans marrying, reproducing, and associating among eahcother formulating a little caste-like structure among themselves. In the 60s, 70s, and 80s the Black Power movement kind of broke up MOST of it. When I was a kid you almost never saw two light skinned people together as a couple. If the man was light..he was looking for a dark skinned woman to chill with. If the woman was light...she HAD to have a Wesley Snipes type brother to get down with...lol "If I go down...I'm taking other mofo's with me!" " But after the 90s...that "paper bag" shit started rising again.

  11. it is amusing and sad to see the transformation entertainers will go through in order to sell themselves. Fake hair, eyelashes, butts, breasts, dental implants, tanning and bleaching, etc. Yet, Father Time remains undefeated. When it catches up, there's no fix. They're all going to shrivel up.

  12. ************************************************************************************ @Cynique One of the problems is that we have no way of knowing what all the various side effects are because we are not being informed. But if you follow the news, you will see that there are lots of people complaining of their various ailments, from severe rashes to unbearable headaches, and more. You can go with whatever narrative you choose, but some of us refuse to be a government guinea pig. I'm not trying to see if I will develop blood clots or anything else. I'm doing fine sheltering in place and having all my necessities delivered to my porch. If the rest of you all want to run around town, get on a plane, train, bus, subway, taxi, wherever else, and let everybody breathe on you - BE MY GUEST. ************************************************************************************

  13. ************************************************************************************ @Pioneer1 I was amazed at the speed with which the vaccines were developed. When the pharmaceutical industry and Dr. Falsey initially said that the vaccine would take years to develop, DJT told them to get it done in a couple of months, that took a great deal of foresight. Once the vaccines became available, people were leery of them due to the speed in which they were developed, it did not seem as if they were properly tested because they were so rushed. And then we started hearing the reports about people dying after being vaccinated, the blood clots, and all the other frightening side effects. Who in the world wants to get blood clots. The mistake people who have been vaccinated are making, among other things, is assuming they can carry on with their lives like normal, thinking that they are immune to catching COVID, but that is all wrong. Even after you have been vaccinated, you still need to isolate and protect yourself as much as possible when you go around other people. Because you can still catch COVID. And it's a crapshoot what your survivability will be. ************************************************************************************

  14. Unfortunately, they have been whitening black folks for a long time: Nat King Cole was dark: Most famously, there was the King of Pop: So, I'm not surprised Mrs. Beyonce Knowles-Carter has received the whitening treatment. I think it's unfortunate that in 2021, some black folks are still selling out.

  17. Well bro, in this day and age, the reality is that we need both. Otherwise, we get the dinosaur tag. Brick and mortar buildings are needed to produce things and warehouse merchandise. A virtual infrastructure to communicate and conduct business across time zones and continents is a necessity. The pandemic has proven that folks don't need to work in office buildings. I believe skyscrapers will eventually become luxury apartment buildings and condos as more folks work from home.

  21. I think it's about time the Black community puts this "trans" business in it's proper place and perspective. Which means it's NOT a legitimate cause or movement in my opinion. I'm a Black Progressive and I've been talking to other Black Progressives about starting our own movement where OUR issues and other TRADITIONAL Progressive issues like Women's Rights, Poverty Programs, Reparations, Police Reform, ect..can take center stage. Don't get me wrong.... I support the right of Trans people to be who they are and if a man wants to wear a dress and high-heels, that's his business. But when you try to FORCE me to accept him as a woman...now you have a serious problem on your hands. And that's what the Trans Movement is all about. I've said over and over again for a couple years now that the Trans Movement should NOT be part of the Progressive Agenda, but so many White folks want it to...so now it may be time to separate and focus on our own Progressive issues.
