  1. @Pioneer1, regardless of the subject matter, whether it's history from millions of years ago to religion to the latest sports legends and everything in between, human beings like to discuss and debate stuff. Your point of investigating history and archeology and religion for ourselves makes sense because if it did nothing else, it could create jobs providing folks are willing to invest in it. The real questions are 1) what do we really want to know and 2) what are we going to do with the knowledge and/or truth. Otherwise, an obsession with the past would be a distraction and collecting data becomes an intellectual exercise in futility. I'd much rather Black folks concentrate on knowing the past in order to solve problems of the present and future. Right now, too many n8gglets are using history and religion as either an opiate to cope and/or a way to enrich themselves within the system of racism white supremacy.

  2. Movies are supposed to be a form of entertainment. However, there is plenty room for subliminal messaging On the surface, this film could be a version of Wonder Woman for Black folks. I wholeheartedly believe there's a war on masculinity. The pussification of American society started way before this movie was released. Otherwise, men who understand the goings on in America can sit back and eat their popcorn and enjoy the beautiful and wonderful Viola Davis doing her thing on the big screen. It's enterainment.

  4. I disagree with two parts...the rest I am in agreement with A. the issue usually isn't White resistance B. we are our own worse enemy. White resistance (is racism) comes in various disguises...and one of them is "we are our worst enemies" 1. Demonization of black peoples and their culture. 2. Marginalization of black communities. 3. Underemployment. 4. Learned Helplessness. 5. Benign Neglect. 6. Black unity is attacked and seen as a threat. 7. Undermining the black family 8. Separate interpretation of Laws 9. Inferior Education...Neglect and inferiorization of african accomplishment - results disaffection of black students 10. Institutionalization of Blaming the victim for being victimize. 11. Dumping in black communities. 12. Unequal access to National resources...financial institution, medical institutions etc 13. Overcrowding in schools and communities.. 14. Food desert. 15. Over Policing. 16. Readily availability of Drugs and Alcohol - Numbification 17. Political alienation...Voter Apathy 18. Urban blight 19. Kept in a state Constant Paranoia (fear and foreboding) - breeds desperation - crime 20. Black success is exceptionalized. ....etc they all fall under racism Racism is a direct frontal attack on black people on too many levels to list them all
