Hard to separate algorithms when AI is the result of computer programming. As long as AI requires human input in order to produce an output, I cannot think of it as real intelligence. No doubt, AI will be a powerful tool that puts humans out of work and/or allows more of them to sit around doing little or nothing or less work. AI could potentially render humans super lazy and ultimately dull and boring.😁😎

Intuition, having the ability to take action or make decisions based on feeling instead of reasoning is a part of what makes us human beings. IMO, AI will not make decisions based on a hunch or thinking outside the box (algorithm). Everything AI outputs will require human input. IOW, humans aren't going to wake up and AI has already taken care of things that were dreamed about. 🤣😎

The difficulty lies in the fact that the person doesn't want to lose weight badly enough. 😉 Let a doctor tell that same person that losing weight is a matter of life or death. Watch how much free will and will power they manage to muster.🤣 The downside to weight loss alternatives (surgeries and medication) is that because it doesn't require much in the way of will power, many of those same folks end up gaining weight again. 😁 Same goes for lottery winners. Many of them end up broke because their free will and will power is broken.😎

Understood. AOC is definitely making a name for herself in American politics. But, I'm not so sure that whatever AOC is selling has enough appeal to the PACs responsible for putting folks in higher places. 😎

The biggest *problem* is that far too many Black folks are complicit in maintaining the status quo. Human greed and corruption are powerful forces. Especially when folks have a price at which they can be bought. Some folks are willing to sell out for even less.😎

The best part of AI is that it would force users to hold themselves accountable for the outcome. One cannot be disappointed or feel betrayed or blame others if they don't get desired results from AI.😁😎

Yesterday, brotha Tariq Nasheed hosted the Rally4Reparations at Freedom Plaza here in Washington, DC. The guest speakers were Dr. Ma'at, Afro Elite, Dr. Randy Short, Gregg Marcel Dixon, Vicki Dillard, Dave Anderson, Black Alpha and Rizza Islam. All of the speakers were on point. Big Daddy Kane rocked the crowd on the Hip-Hop tip. The event was well attended despite that it was hot outside.😁 It was great to see families and so many young people out there too. I know it's a heavy lift but I hope that FBA/ADOS folks will keep pushing for reparations.😎

Sure. AI fueled social media will be a problem for those who consume it anywhere on the planet. Thankfully, I'm too old for social media to have an impact on my life in one way or another. So, i really don't have anything to worry about. Still, I don't believe the cultures that exist on the continent of Africa will be eroded by AI-driven social media to the extent that it could happen here in America.😎

Social media is already conditioning people to accept a reality with less real world contact and interaction. AI will eventually do all non-physical work that humans find too tedious or time consuming. I'm curious to see if people will become more productive and take better care of each other when they have more time on their hands. I don't believe work as a time sink makes people better. However, working does provide a structured outlet of socialization which is a critical aspect of our existence as human beings. Cultural cohesion will erode among populations that allow social media and AI to decline them. Moving to Africa becomes more attractive as I continue to observe the world around me.😎

The HB conviction could provide POTUS PJB with a way out of running for re-election. The Democrats would have to come up with another candidate PDQ (pretty d8mn quick). I'd bet the Dems would look to Gavin Newsome, Governor of California, to be that person. Definitely not VP Kamala Harris. Too many polls to pick from but the general consensus is that many voters will be holding their noses whichever way they vote. Despite their experience, neither party nominee is the best qualified to run this country. Unfortunately, nobody else seems to want the job. Younger people are sitting back and observing this sh8tshow. With the next 10 years, better POTUS candidates will emerge. In the meantime, it's back to American politics as reality TV filled with a circus of clowns including insults, scandals, convictions, etc. There are guardrails in place to keep the country from going off track despite the foolishness. That doesn't prevent America, that beacon on the hill from currently being the laughingstock of the world because it looks like this guy: There's no shortage of Black shills and bootlicks. Rep. Byron Donalds and Sen. Tim Scott are prime examples of why we need a drop squad.😎

in the latest news, a Georgia judge has put Fani Willis' case against former POTUS Orange Julius (POJ) on Hold until March 2025. A Florida judge has pushed back the classified documents case too. If POJ wins re-election, those cases won't see the light of day until sometime in the year 2029. Former POJ is more slippery than an eel. It's by design. He's flexing.😎

If there was truly campaign finance reform, politicians would get more work done for the American people instead of catering to special interest groups and their lobbyists. Back in the day, politicians seemed dull and boring. Most of them looked uncomfortable on TV. They certainly didn't appear to have celebrity aspirations.
