Words of wisdom do not die. Build financial institutions like banks and credit unions. Places where Black folks can pool their monies. Black financial institutions can extend favorable lines of credit to Black start-up businesses in every major Black cities around the country. Once successful, we can diversify into other types of businesses too i.e. investments. Black businesses need to be supported and protected by any means necessary.

I don't know if anyone asked those questions of Dr. Cress-Welsing. It's too late since her spirit has already flown many years ago. As I've mentioned already, build more Black financial institutions among other things.

NBA Gambling and Sports Betting Indictments
ProfD replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
34 people have been indicted so far. Yet, the media continues showing the Black folks. They did not mastermind this thing. It's much bigger than them. -
Poll the rich, wealthy and powerful people in the USA. Many of them have amassed their fortunes in tech industries. Yet, I believe less than 10% of those people knows about planned obsolescence, depreciation, accounting and the moon landing. I'm sure 99.99% of them don't care about it.

I don't lnow whether or not PM Sanae Takaichi is a POTUS OJ figure-head of government. Considering the US/Japan relationship, I'd imagine PM Takaichi will work within joint interestsnof both countries. If POTUS OJ likes working with PM Takaichi, the US will help with Japanese economic issues too.

Sure. Black folks can stop imposing financial double standards on ourselves. Even better would be for homeless Black folks to stop procreating. Seems selfish to bring children into a world of poverty and homelessness. Dr. Frances Cress-Welsing had it right in proselytizing that Black folks should not procreate or marry until they are at least 30 years old. Dr. Cress-Welsing figured that level of discipline would give young Black people enough time to become college educated, gainfully employed and save money. I hope that Black folks will find a way to build wealth despite the handicap of legacy of slavery over four centuries and obstacles built into the system of racism white supremacy.

https://www.cnn.com/sport/live-news/nba-fbi-sports-betting-probe-10-23-25 The FBI seems to be on a mission to crackdown on sports betting. No surprise the 1st people they arrested were a Black coach and player. These dudes were not ringleaders by any stretch of the imagination. The mafia and other rich people are the driving forces behind sports betting. Remains to be seen how many of them will be indicted. The issue I have is why milionaire Black athletes and coaches jeopardize their bag for chump change. It is possible that gangsters could lean on them to cooperate. However, there are recourses if they need protection too. I'm curious to see if only Black foks are beng snagged up in this foolishness or if it's going down like Nino Brown's empire.

What If We Focused On Local Development?
ProfD replied to KENNETH's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
I don't believe urban squirrels rely on humans more than themselves for acorns they can find in the park. The problem is humans like to treat animals better than they do each other. People sit on park benches with a bag full of nuts trying to befriend a rodent. Black folks have been consistently going to church and listening to the same message too. Tells me we gotta keep preaching the message of Black folks becoming more self-sufficient and less dependent on the system. -
No surprise Mayor Eric Adams is endorsing former governor Andrew Cuomo to succeed him. The Democrats do not want Zohran Mamdani to be the next NYC mayor. He's leading in the polls. Let's see if NYC shows up and out for Mamdaniion election day.

Probation instead of 80 Year Prison Sentence
ProfD replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
I know it is a rhetorical question but for the sake of digital posterity, let's answer it. The Black people in those positions are not of low intelligence. Those Black officers, lawyers and judges do not have the power to change the laws created by white supremacists. Some of those Black people are like overseers on the slave plantation. They willingly prove to white folks that they can be more harsh towards their own people. -
Right. Especially if they don't want to get a part-time job selling themselves.

FBI Director is a Person of Color Reminder
ProfD replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Facts. As a result, they don't seem to carry the equality and fairness or being an example of excellence among their people. However, we still don't see the throwing shade at each in white media either. -
To be clear, I was referring to knowledge of planned obsolescence not increasing power and wealth. Of course, I totally believe requisite knowledge and application can generate wealth and acquire power. There's no shortage of books on every subject. Individuals have to seek out reading material of interest to them. Getting folks interested in reading is the harder part. A love for books and information seems to be an acquired taste. H8ll, most church-going people only open their bible during Sunday service.

@richardmurray, I read your event response to my post above. If you feel that my perspective is a lie or wrong or misguided, you're entitled to feel that way. As I've mentioned before, I'm not here to debate or recruit anyone to my point of view. I type my 2 cents in a given topic and keep it moving.

https://newrepublic.com/post/202059/maga-kash-patel-diwali-racism FBI Director Kash Patel was recently reminded that he is a person of color. He innocently acknowledged Diwali (Hindu festival of lights). In response, white racists recommended that Patel go back home. Fellow Brown man, Vivek Ramaswamy, who is either running for governor of Ohio or giving speeches at Turning Point USA rallies has also been reminded that he's non-white too. The most cruel joke white folks like to play on non-white people s leading them to believe they are accepted. White folks break their tools once finished with them. People of color are tolerated as long as they are serving the interests of white folks. Very similar to 15 minutes of fame. Of course, many people of color are comfortable with their place in the system of racism white supremacy.

https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/trump-says-justice-department-owes-him-money-vows-donate-any-payout-charity-2025-10-21/ POTUS OJ has floated the idea that the US government by way of Department of Justice owes him $230 million dollars for past cases against him. Several companies have already paid POTUS OJ in one way or another. With his various forms of grift, he could could amass multimillion or a billion dollars before leaving office. The $230 million shakedown is a case study in a conflict of interest considering POTUS OJ would be signing his own check. As mentioned before, these next 3 years and change are going to be very interesting under POTUS OJ and the current administration.

Excellent observation. Rest assured that knowledge won't increase power and/or wealth.

There is always competition under a system of capitalism. It is hard to predict new and emerging technologies and how it affects the way we do things. The pony express was replaced by faster forms of transportation. Trains and other vehicles worked out great for the postal service. The postal service employed millions of people directly and indirectly too. As mentioned above, the United Parcel Service (UPS) was started over 100 years ago as a delivery service. That business took off especially as gross consumerism ramped up. While the postal service could handle billions of pieces of mail and parcels annually, larger packages and faster delivery times required something different. A demand and convenience private companies were more than wiling to fulfill under a system of capitalism. IMO, long before the internet and mail, personal computers should have been viewed as the technology that would drastically alter the way we collect and store information (data) but also how we communicate. Email was invented back in the mid-1980s. Same goes for desktop publishing and digital storage. The analog world i.e. everything that required pen and paper; envelopes, stamps and book-binding would be changed a few short years later. I believe postal services will always be around. Just like other jobs with AI impending, the demand will shrink. Therein lies the blessing and curse of technology especially under a system of capitalism.

People are trained to compete for pre-determined slots within the system. Gotd8mnit sista...you're on a roll with the quotables. Those pre-determined slots are limited. Only a handful of people enjoy living in poverty. -
There's never been a shortage of smart, intelligent, gifted, talented Black folks. That's why we Black folks have made it *this* far in the system of racism white supremacy. The *problem* Black folks have is an unwillingness to be less dependent on the system and no desire to break it. No amount of reading or degrees or money will lead to freedom if people are comfortable and complacent in a mental prison.

As a Black man, he needs to maintain a level of respect for Black people. We don't begrudge SAS for making money. He gets paid to talk about sports. It is not cool for SAS to jump on hot mics throwing shade at Black people. He needs to stay in his lane. No amount of money should prevent SAS from getting chin-checked when he's out of pocket. -

A white dude commits a heinous crime as a 17-year old. He pleads guilty. No Black person could have committed these crimes and pled guilty and gotten a potential 80-year prison sentence reduced to probation. Of course, the white media didn't plaster this case over every outlet in America. In fact, they have tried to bury it. Black media should be putting these cases on blast. Especially when white folks come after our own people with harsh penalties for less.

Yep. I call balls and strikes. In as much as I rail against the system of racism white supremacy, I'm hard on Black folks too especially Black men. There's a bunch of sh8t Black folks need to clean up around their own houses. Sellout n8gglets and menace to society n8gglets need to be dealt with too. They are counter-productive to Black folks breaking free of this system.
