Time keeps on ticking. How long should she have waited? We've already acknowledged she doesn't need a prince. She's rich. You're dismissing the independent thought of younger females and women. Whatever the Williams sisters choose to do with themselves will not influence thousands of young Black females one way or another. If/when it is time for those females to make dating decisions and marriage partners, other factors will inform it...upbringing, environment, attraction, security, etc.

@Pioneer1, depending on the audience, it's hard to substantiate a position without facts, proof and/or evidence. Definitely so when it comes to anything interpretative. The judicial system is buillt on using facts, proof and evidence to make the case one way or another. Bottom line is one should question, challenge and verify information especially if it is presented without facts, proof and/or evidence. Because anyone can be a journalist i.e. report information, fact-checking is a very real thing nowadays. For example, whenever someone tells me something, the 1st thing I want to know is the source. If they tell me it was reported on a social media site...red flag. I walk away.

Different strokes for different folks
ProfD replied to aka Contrarian's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
The obvious answer is we don't know if women of other cultures downplay the men because.... Women of other cultures are not cheerleading for the men either. Women of other cultures do venture outside of it. Look no further than wife of the Vice POTUS. -
Jan 6th Pipe Bomb Suspect Arrested & Confessed
ProfD replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Depends on how one defines making sense. The scenario provided above doesn't make sense to someone who doesn't understand or see the point in tree-boxing i.e. stalking someone. To someone who doesn't believe in peeping around, they might believe it would make sense to ask the person suspected of cheating if it is true. Wait for answer. Don't interrupt. Common sense and making sense can be slippery slopes. -
Ending Birthright Citizenship: Are These People Serious?
ProfD replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
NF Jr. said Black people should always be prepared for relocation. Looks like this administration will be testing it. Even if they are unsuccessful getting the Constitution changed, that may not stop them from doing whatever they want. Nobody should be surprised when it comes to white criminals. Laws and rules don't apply the same way to them. -
Jan 6th Pipe Bomb Suspect Arrested & Confessed

I see what you did there. Well played. The FBI has had the same information for 5 years. They also traced the pipe bomb materials back to Home Depot receipts. The question is why wasn't his azz picked up sooner by the previous administration. -
Ending Birthright Citizenship: Are These People Serious?
ProfD replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Bro, I understand your concern over Black folks supporting the positions of racists and white supremacists. Rest assured, they cannot end birthright citizenship for FBA/AfroAmericans no more than it can be taken away from white folks. It would be best for FBA/AfroAmericans to heed the advice of the late Dick Gregory and remain neutral in these issues that have nothing to do with us. Unfortunately, the generations of FBA/AfroAmericans starting with Gen-X and younger are getting distracted by this other sh8t instead of keeping their eyes on the ball that is our own bizness. -
Unfortunately, the written word doesn't always translate emotion. That's why I use emoticons. I'm in no way revolted by the fact that Senator might be ghey. It is only my belief. I've already stated I don't have a problem with the alphabet soup community. Ghey dudes means more women for us heterosexual dudes. In real life, I'm the least emotional dude on the planet. Maybe it does not come across in my posts. Again, I have no scorn towards Rep. Hakeem Jeffries. He's doing whatever his constituency put him there to do. As far as I know, neither Rep. Jeffries nor the Congressional Black Caucus has put forth any reparations legislation. It's cool because they don't represent my interests and *I* don't have to vote for them. Obviously, even as we agree to disagree, I care what you think. That's why I read and respond accordingly. As long as you're still sucking up oxygen, we'll continue to go back and forth. Go Bears.

Jan 6th Pipe Bomb Suspect Arrested & Confessed

Right. I'm waiting to see or hear whether or not POTUS OJ addresses it in one way or another. -
https://www.npr.org/2025/12/04/nx-s1-5632646/fbi-pipe-bombs-arrest 5 years later, a suspect has been arrested for planting pipe bombs at DNC and RNC locations on January 6th. To everyone's surprise, the suspect is a Black man: Brian Cole Jr. Is a 34-year-old from Virginia. He has confessed that he believed the 2020 election was stolen from POTUS OJ. Let's see if this young man gets pardoned for his crime. The other January 6th folks have already been released.

Black Men's Sexuality Has Been Renown Since Ancient Times

We're in the same club. Bald men unite. F8ck hair. -
That is true as long as it's not against the law. Still, soulmate usually isn't the reason people with a decade or more age difference between connect with each other. It's normally a physical and/or financial incentive. I'm not suggesting they cannot have fun together i.e. shopping, getting their nails done, girls night out, etc. Sure. After 2 months of dating, they have made a business decision. Remains to be seen how it works out. More importantly, let's see if this union 1) bears additional fruit and 2) lasts for many years beyond his political aspirations. No intimidation here. More power to them regardless of their arrangement. Surely. POTUS Obama successfully carried out the duties of the highest executive office in the USA. He did not *break* anything white folks built. Ask Rep. Hakeem Jeffries if he's power brokering any legislation to bring reparations to AfroAmericans. Wait for his answer. Don't interrupt.

POTUS Says Quiet Part Calling Out Somalias
ProfD replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
The hard-working dude sees America as a land of opportunity. He sees the immigrants as ungrateful freeloaders. Complaining about immigrants will not benefit AfroAmericans in getting reparations. However, it could possibly eliminate the number of Black folks who could stake a claim to reparations. There are Black folks who love this country and believe it belongs to them just as much as racists do. The Civil War led white folks to go to blows against each other. Those same white folks close ranks and help to fight a common enemy. Some Black Americans will do the same thing. No matter how badly America has treated our people, they will fight for it. Similar to slaves protecting the slavemasters house from outsiders. I believe AfroAmericans should handle their own bizness. No need to speak on immigration one way or another. No need to cape for immigrants either. We got our own sh8t to fix. -
I wrote that anything is possible. Let a 34-year-old dude claim a 16-year-old girl is his soulmate. He'd better hope she doesn't have a father or some other protective male-figure in her life. Then, there's law enforcement. Not just politicians. There's no shortage of Black men in our history who have done great things in terms of our progress. Again, maybe AfroAmericans are so far removed from our history and having been rudderless for 50 years and counting...it makes sense that our people are *here* now. Every man and woman out for self. That's why Senator Booker got *married*. As @Pioneer1 mentioned, he's prepping himself for another POTUS run. i believe Governor Gavin Newsom has the democratic nomination on lock. They have to create a field of dreamers to make it look good.
-
That's not how the universe works. Anything is possible. Like winning the lotto. Chances 1 in 427 million. In this fellas case...I seriously doubt she's his soulmate. Most likely...she's a beard. We can easily read the legislation they introduce in their positions. More importantly, listen to them and the issues they choose to champion. Black history provides role models. Black struggles providea a compass. Maybe modern Black leadership is so far removed from the struggle and/or so comfortable under the system of racism white supremacy that there's no incentive to do anything more than grift.

POTUS Says Quiet Part Calling Out Somalias

Right. Criminals should probably think twice about getting locked up while the block is hot. Similar to laying low while the national guard patrolling the city. -
He's 56. She's 38. 18 year difference isn't a soulmate. Playmate at best. BFF in his case. I would support the Black man as an elected official who actually puts forth an effort through policy and legislation to create pathways to generational wealth for Black folks. If the Black man as an elected official isn't putting forth an effort through policies and legislation to fuel Black success and help to dismantle the system of racism white supremacy, he's just another grifter.

POTUS Says Quiet Part Calling Out Somalias
ProfD replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Most FBA/AfroAmericans are staying out of it. FBAs who have had poor interactions with Africans and other Black folks might feel similarly. They are entitled to it...VGQ. Not much different from people who have been cheated or scorned in bad relationships and situations. Byron Donalds and Tim Scott are already doing it. Of ccourse. Mainly because they cannot get rid of FBAs. Even the dumbest n8gglet knows he or she cannot be deported. I don't believe the leaders in New Black Media are smoking fake weed. They do seem to have a lot of smoke for immigrants, Democrats, bootlicks, shills and tethers. Part of the reason they're not criticizing POTUS OJ and Republicans as much is because it's already established and known they are anti-Black. Always follow the money. It's helpful to know how folks are being funded. That tells a lot about their content and viewpoints. -

Most FBAs do not have great relationships other Black folks. This is the experience many FBAs have with other Black folks. As we say where I'm from...they don't genuinely f8ck with us like tthat. No alliance. FBAs should be ready to move some furniture if/when necessary. Just like that riverboat brawl in Alabama. There are AfroAmericans already doing that to varying degrees. Boule and ignorant n8gglets. Again, FBAs should stay ready so they don't have to get ready. We have good reason not to side with immigrants especially when 1) they are anti-FBA and 2) looking forward to replacing us. It's not about siding with the immigrants or POTUS OJ. Neither gives a sh8t about us. FBAs who aren't on code need to be dealt with in the same way as racists, white supremacists and anybody else who happens to be anti-FBA. FBAs have to 1) hold their own nuts and 2) stop putting on the cape for others. Let them handle their own bizness. -
Right. Married on paper. Bachelors in their actions.

POTUS Says Quiet Part Calling Out Somalias
ProfD replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
The difference is that he happens to have the biggest platform and is considered a leader of the free world. So, whatever limited vocabulary and insults come out of POTUS OJ's pie-hole, gets broadcast not only to his base but also around the world. Millions of budding racists, white supremacists, misogynists, etc., get to hear the crap being uttered by POTUS OJ. Powerful ignorant messages being sent. -
Probably not because Senator Booker has been mentioned in another thread. @Pioneer1 gave the senator benefit of doubt and believe he could be as*xual. Well, the stunt he pulled this past weekend could nullify that claim. However, since I believe the marriage is a front, the jury is still out. Not that it makes a difference one way or another. Higher political aspirations seem to require a different look. The last bachelor POTUS was James Buchanan. There were questions about him too.

POTUS OJ does not seem to have a filter. He says what other people are thinking. That's why it goes unchecked. Silence is acceptance. -
There is no excuse for folks born within the past 125 years and counting.

I was only referring to the bible as a popular book that many people of faith haven't read thoroughly. If people aren't willing to read the ONE book of their beliefs, getting them to read other books and other sources seeking knowledge and information will require a level of effort. Back in the day, I remember public service announcements encouraging young people that Reading is Fundamental (RIF). There was also Reading Rainbow. The average American is literate in their ability to read. I still contend it is surface level. Just well enough to follow directions and get things done and not get unalived. Brotha @Pioneer1 is in a minority having read the entire bible several times and in different languages too. That's another level.
