  1. IMO, people listen to all types of music for the same reasons...entertainment and escapism. I know many rich folks who have listened to Gangsta Rap and still do. It inspires and motivates them in whatever they do from getting money to working out. The beats are infectious. Nobody can enforce or define moral responsibilities. The US just killed a bunch of folks in capturing the president of another country based on some made up sh8t. Parents should have the biggest influence om young people. If not...something else is wrong. Both are in the entertainment bizness of selling stories.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  2. It's easy to brainwash people who have to believe in something. No. Dogs aren't brainwashed. They are powerless when it comes to humans. Most people connect to their culture before they venture outside of it. An intelligent dude can still be goofy especially when it comes to women. His prejudices were based on ignorance. Being smitten after a smile and his subsequent actions is a telltale sign.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  3. Straight out of a movie, the US has captured Venezuelan president Nicholas Maduro and his wife after launching airstrikes on the country. The Maduros have been flown out of Venezuela. It is being reported that Maduro will stand trial here in the US on drug trafficking charges. I believe end game is the Maduros will be exiled to a friendly country of choice. They will be allowed to live a rich and peaceful life elsewhere. A puppet president will be installed to run Venezuela according to US interests. Textbook regime change.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. Religion has been brainwashing people for hundreds of years. Dogs and humans aren't in the same species. They have evolved differently. Absolutely. That applies to people across the planet. Find common ground. Connect and build. That guy is an example of a goofy dude. No reason to waste that much energy only to be turned upside down.๐Ÿ˜ As brotha frankster called it...finding your tribe.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  5. Therein lies the slippery slope. Folks know their head gonna get twisted tighter than a pretzel and/or eyes redder than licorice but they'll drink, smoke or whatever. They do it anyway. Family and friends will try to discourage the person from doing one more. They already know there's gonna be a fight or some other altercation or situation.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  6. No doubt a whole bunch of doctors, scientists, engoneers, lawyers, etc., were bumping that music during their college years.๐Ÿ˜ Those same rap artists were performing at their school homecoming events & parties too. We have no way of quantifying how many successful Black men were inspired by their music. Hollywood. Bushwick Bill rapped a verse. He didn't rob any kids. Black parents had the same responsibility of keeping the music away from their kids. No different than your generation wasn't allowed to listen to raunchy records. It has never been the responsibility of entertainers to provide solutions to social problems and/or clean up the environment. Brotha Malcolm X even articulated that athletes and entertainers should not be viewed as leaders. Entertainers are no different from the media in reporting what they see and/or hear on the ground or make up stories.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  7. Well, without Gangsta Rap, we would not have gotten masterpiece bangers: From an intellectual perspective, I understand the argument folks try to make regarding music. But, here is the reality: Folks want to blame everything and everybody because people don't want to take personal responsibility for their actions. I still contend that Gangsta Rap music is entertainment just like Hollywood movies. N8gglets were doing the same dysfunctional sh8t before Gangsta Rap came along.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. You're right. Mexico is more violent than the USA.๐Ÿ˜ Definitely. The real-time and latent effects of drugs is definitely a factor in mental health issues here in the USA.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. Even if properly documented, the murder and crime rate in Jamaica is nothing compared to pick a major city in the USA. The USA is the most violent place on the planet. That is why we have more guns that all other countries combined. I believe the mental health issues here in the USA are caused several factors including: 1) mentally unstable people procreating 2) environment 3) chemicals in processed foods 4) chemicals sprayed in the air 5) medications 6) mind control programming through radio/TV/film/internet People have to mindful of what they consume from both mental and physical perspectives.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  10. Our perspectives are shaped by the environment and conditions in which we were raised. I'm from a place that was once considered the murder capital of the world. From dope to crack to Gangsta Rap music and every other societal ill, my city is not worse for wear. My city is actually safer than it was when I grew up there. Again, the numbers suggest that murders and crimes in major Black cities have gone down compared to the past. I'm not hearing that Gangsta Rap music is responsible for the murder, crime and degenerate and dysfunctional behavior that exists now.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  11. When people have been brainwashed over several generations, it's harder for them to believe and/or accept they are being tricked. It was not my intention to pull a move. ๐Ÿ˜ Sports teams at any level usually require a collective effort in order to win. Every now and then, there is a Michael Jordan or LeBron James type athlete who hogs the spotlight.๐Ÿคฃ Getting to the point of FBA/AfroAmericans being able to work with Africans requires a great deal of reprogramming on both sides. The juice may not be worth the squeeze. Keep in mind that Africans are tribal within their own countries. They can't get along with each other within the country and/or with their neighboring countries. That's why there is no United Countries of Africa. Greed and jealousy are universal human flaws. A person has to know how to deal with h8ters accordingly.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  12. If smoking marijuana led to folks killing each other, the island of Jamaica would be decimated by now.๐Ÿคฃ I believe mental health issues have more to do with parricide and filicide than smoking weed and/or drug addiction.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  13. Talk about back in the day...Gangsta Rap has not been relevant in a couple of decades. ๐Ÿคฃ The people influenced by 30-year-old Gangsta Rap music would be in their 40s now. They might be smoking weed and tattooed up but I still contend the murder rate is not the same as the 1990s. Since the 2000s, millions of Black folks have graduated from schools, colleges and universities and built successful careers and raising families. IOW, I do not see where Gangsta Rap destroyed the FBA/AfroAmerican community or made things worse.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  14. You wrote that nowadays most rappers engaged in street activity to boost their credibility. These dudes are studio drug dealers and gansgstas. They're like Hollywood actors. Kendrick Lamar is peobably the most popular rapper in the game. He's on a trajectory to have a $100 million dollar net worth. Nothing street about him. My point was the murder rate today isn't as high as it was back in the 1990s. Clearly, rap music didn't make it worse. The toughest stud is still a woman somewhere deep down inside. She's vulnerable to the *right* masculine man. I've seen a few of them crack and break in certain situations.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  15. The universe eventually takes care of those beyond reach. The numbers haven't reached epidemic levels like fentanyl deaths. That's when white folks will start ringing the alarm. FBA/AfroAmericans don't need a pimp.๐Ÿคฃ Not necessarily. Some team owners lead it.๐Ÿ˜ Professional sports teams are set up to make tons of money. Winning is secondary. Relegate them to a certain class/status. I was referring to them looking down on FBA/AfroAmericans based on propaganda they have been fed by white folks. However, just like my African tribe had to learn, a lot of FBA/AfroAmericans are very well off. Can't look down on us. We don't need them for anything. They show up at my house for family functions grinning and smiling like Jack-O-Lanterns and drinking and eating up food like they just jumped off a Save the Children commercial.๐Ÿคฃ Only up until they're around successful FBA/AfroAmericans. They learn. Enjoy brotha @richardmurray's latest white paper.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  16. IMO, well before parricide (killing parents) or filicide (killing offspring), people know there's dysfunction in those relationships. Parents have a tall order especially in if they feel guilty when their adult children fail to fully develop and/or have mental issues or an addiction. Either way, there are usually signs long before these killings occur. I'd imagine this happens more often than it's reported. Still, I don't think it has reached epidemic status. Otherwise, white folks would be doing PSAs (Public Service Announcements) about family members killing each other.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  17. False. Very few street dudes have the level of intelligence & talent to become successful rappers. Jay-Z and 50 Cent are living examples of dudes with real street credibility who have built billion dollar empires in entertainment. They have cross-collateralized their success into other business ventures too. The majority of them never make it to a fraction of what Jay & 50 have done. The murder rate in LA is still not where it was back in the 1990s. Right. Something about her lips tells me Delores could have had another life before she became self-righteous.๐Ÿคฃ I knew a Maxine. She was community property in the neighborhood.๐Ÿ˜ Unfortunately, that's how it works on life until a change comes. It's not a problem if that woman interested in the man. Some dudes feel like they're entitled to any snatch box. The goofiest dudes will even call the woman a b8tch if she turns down his advances. Sure. Some dudes have stud friends because she can bring him around other females who might swing both ways like barn doors.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  18. IMO, NF Jr. is right in that regard. Taking care of those who need the most help reduces the likelihood of them becoming hopeless, desperate and dangerous. Those nations were stable before the US & NATO started protecting them. Japan jumped into some sh8t they had no business during WWII. As a consolation for dropping them thangs (nuclear bombs), the US felt obligated to rebuild and make Japan an ally. The relationship between the US & Japan has been fruitful for many decades now. I'm sure brotha @richardmurray would disagree.๐Ÿ˜ Good luck. A higher power hasn't save any country or group of people yet. It takes 1) violence or 2 ) benevolence for a group of people to improve themselves. That's a human condition we can manage within reason. Team sports shows that working together cooperatively leads to success. Instead of fleeing to a predominantly white country, I wonder why those Black folks won't solve that problem in their home countries. if a man cannot stand on bizness in staying put and fixing his home country, he has no right to flee & talk sh8t to and/or look down on people in another country. Africans should not be looking to us for help that we cannot afford to give them. However, when FBA/AfroAmericans show up in African countries the only thing they want from us is a bag of money.๐Ÿ˜ As someone with intimate knowledge of property investment, construction, improvement, etc., everything I read and saw about Umar's school project raised BS flags. The problems Umar supposedly had with contractors was nothing more than a delay tactic. He was stringing folks along to continue his grift. I believe Umar is comfortable now knowing poeple will give him money just to hear him talk his sh8t and blink and repeat himself. Kinda like a pork chop, er, Pan-African preacher.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  19. Understand your perspective. Just like Hollywood movies, most of the gangsta rappers didn't actually sell dope or kill anybody. No sir. That azz gonna be dealt with tough love.๐Ÿคฃ I won't be able to, er, have to call the police though.๐Ÿ˜‰ West coast rappers putting a bullseye on the Crips & Bloods led them to a peace treaty. Death metal and other forms of suicidal and dysfunctional Rock music still exists. Several Rock artists & musicians have unalived themselves too. I'm clowning. We don't know what she was doing but with a name like Delores....I wouldn't put cigarettes, drinking, Dolemite, Millie Jackson & Blowfly off her radar.๐Ÿคฃ That's like telling women not to wear skimpy clothes.๐Ÿคฃ A whole lotta folks go from victim to willing participant. Ask those down low n8gglets who've spent time as Jay-Z said.."locked up...behind bars".๐Ÿ˜ She doesn't see the gay dude as a man. He's like another girlfriend. Plus, she doesn't have to worry about him trying to poke her snatch box.๐Ÿคฃ Right. You could have accepted them as one of the guys.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  20. Absolutely not. I believe in capitalism and socialism too. Folks should be free to make as much money as they can as long as it does not bring hurt, harm or danger to others. As NF Jr. often said, we have a responsibility to help our people who need it the most. As I've often mentioned, Scandinavian countries seem to have found a balance between capitalism and socialism. However, the Scandinavians do benefit from having a mostly homogeneous racial make-up. But, Black folks can use that model as a blueprint in how to take care of each other. Environmental conditions matter. Those conditions were set by the system of racism white supremacy. Eliminate the conditions that breed drug abuse, poverty, violence and hopelessness. Those incentives will appeal to individuals mostly. Not so much to FBA/AfroAmericans as a group. Gotta tear down several walls ofmisunderstandingss first. No excuses. They knew their ancestors were taken somewhere. They don't ask directly. Show up in their countries and soon find out.๐Ÿ˜ Right. As they should. Stack bread. Send it back home to build. They don't care who gives up that mean green. Money makes the world go round. Dr. Umar Johnson is textbook example of someone with a personality disorder. Highly intelligent. Completely dysfunctional.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  21. Instead of attacking the artists reporting what they see through entertainment, those activists should be focused on whoever is pouring drugs and poverty into the Black community. White folks own a lot of guns. Mass shooters are mostly white. Drugs, prostitution and violence were rampant in the Black communities in which those rappers grew up. Again, they were reporting what they saw through entertainment. Nope. Drugs, prostitution and violence were a part of the Black community before rap music. There are segments of entertainment that glorifies the worst aspects of humanity. Hollywood movies glorify killing people, goons and gangsters. The porn industry makes a lot of money promoting free s8x. Whatever balance white folks use to separate the hemispheres of humanity, the fact remains that they lead the glorification and monetization of dysfunctional behavior. White folks are literally responsible for dumping drugs and guns into Black communities. They finance the movies and music tied to the effects of it. She should have attacked the folks who were bringing drugs and guns into the Black community while dragging on her Virginia Slim cigarettes and sipping Wild Irish Rose.๐Ÿคฃ Goes back to it is easier to attack the victims than it is to confront the abusers. We need Black folks who are willing to attack the system of racism white supremacy instead of attacking the victims of it. It wouldn't make sense to encourage a card carrying member of the alphabet soup community to be a real man or woman i.e. fulfill the role assigned to them biologically. They aren't interested.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  22. "The Reparations Plan outlines a variety of methods to provide restitution, compensation and rehabilitation to individuals who are Black and/or descendants of a chattel enslaved person and have experienced a proven harm in San Francisco," the ordinance reads. There are approximately 46,000 Black residents in San Francisco. The article also states that money from the city budget will not be allocated to the reparations fund. This is a political move and shell game from the Democratic mayor of San Francisco. If/when the mayor decides to run for higher office, when talking to Black voters, he'll point back to this ordinance and say "I threw y'all a bone".๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  23. For those who have rolled into 2026, let's hope that it is a year filled with Love, Joy, Peace, Prosperity, Health and Happiness.๐ŸŽ‰ In the meantime, I will continue calling balls & strikes i.e. offering my opinions/perspectives on whatever comes up around here. I enjoy the easy chair I've taken up.๐Ÿคฃ As always, many thanks to brotha @Troy for providing & maintaining this platform. Much appreciated.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  24. States and cities claiming to study or hand out reparations is definitely a smokescreen to stir up anger and confusion. They are trying to make a mockery of reparations. Trivialize the issue down to nothing. I hope that Black folks interested in reparations keep their eyes on the ball. Don't fall for the BS.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  25. Right. Sellouts, bootlicks and shills are no different from coons on the plantation during slavery. The same type of n8gglets that snitched on Nat Turner and got him killed. As long as this line of thinking is the default position, Black folks will never be unified or get UP. That's because we are not training Black folks to be that way. For one reason or another, self-defense is not an automatic thing that is taught in the Black community. Many white folks learn how to kill early in life. The funny thing is that Black folks will join the military where the primary objective is to kill or be killed in defense of the country. The 1st things they do in the military is teach new recruits 1) discipline, 2) physical fitness and 3) how to kill. There is absolutely no reason that FBA/AfroAmericans should be fighting for Africans. I do not recall Africans getting on ships and rescuing our ancestors from slavery. It is funny that other Black folks expect FBA/AfroAmericans to cape for them despite their delineation from and disrespect towards us. I'd rather let our people die on their own terms instead of caping for those who don't give a sh8t about us anyway. Of course, I didn't donate to FDMG Academy. I listen to Dr. Umar Johnson for comedic entertainment.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
