The peaceful Ottawa protests were anti-mandate. The truckers didn't like having their freedom infringed. The police were called in to get that money rolling again. 😁 On top of the same issues that affect whites, black folks have to deal with a totally different level of azz kicking.😎

Regardless of his motives, Rev. Al Sharpton has taken on a leadership role and has been showing up on behalf of AfroAmericans for many decades. 😎

@Delano, great question my brotha. Athletes, entertainers and gangsters have become defacto role models for many AfroAmericans. Yet, very few of them use their platforms in a constructive manner. We need to pay more attention to ordinary people doing extraordinary things in business, education, politics and making a difference in their communities. We need to stop wasting bandwidth on celebrities and other n8gglets doing dysfunctional sh8t. 😎

Unfortunately, many black folks are afflicted with the disease of materialism. Gross consumerism is the opiate that boosts self-esteem and makes them feel better about themselves. OBJ is just one of many rich AfroAmericans giving the money back instead of investing it towards building generational wealth. OTOH, there wouldn’t be any poor or starving people in the world if human greed didn't have a stranglehold on it.😎

The Denver Broncos are up for sale. I hope that a black investment group or a black billionaire will buy the team. 😎

In this case, nobody will end up in jail. But, the Bridgewater police department will end up in court. Their race soldiers just made a teenager a millionaire.😎

The cultural differences between black folks do not make it impossible to find a basis in unity. However, it has to be taken into account because culture and experience do shape how people deal with each other. I'm working through it in my own family. Some of the older Africans have to be reprogrammed in how they view AfroAmericans. The Americanized Africans not so much. 😁😎

Read and travel to gain exposure to different ideas and places. Take a class. Try something new. Still being a relatively young person, there are plenty possibilities. Open your mind and a passion might pop up. 😎

The phrase people of color is not offensive because it encompassses folks from all over the planet. IMO, AfroAmericans need to build better connections among themselves before reaching out to other groups of people. Africans have a whole continent and still have problems getting along among themselves. 😎

Black folks artificially lightening their skin has been ongoing for many decades now. Unfortunately, whether being light enough to pass for white and/or getting close to it has always been a road some black folks have been willing to travel in order to gain acceptance. It does not help that some black men prefer lighter-skinned and/or white women too. Sistas aren't blind. So, they have been lightening up their skin and straightening their hair too. As an AfroAmerican man unapologetically content in his own blackness, every chance I get, I complement my sistas who embrace their shade of chocolate and natural beauty too. 😎

There are three sides to every story. Then, there is video. It's amazing that folks are still willing to commit crimes and treat each other horribly when there are cameras everywhere. 😎

The term mulatto is as outdated and offensive as colored. The ideas black intellectuals floated 120 years ago have amalgamated with varying degrees of success. Individual AfroAmericans have made significant gains over a century but collectively, we still have a long way to go. To date, there is still no AfroAmerican infrastructure in place to insure self-sufficiency and maintain wealth. If white folks stopped hiring and patronizing AfroAmericans, the unemployment rate and poverty rate would hit 75% easily.😎

Hiring a black attorney is a Chess move. I can only imagine how much money the NFL offered her to represent them. Yet, it wouldn't surprise me if she's willing to do the work pro bono. Sadly, some black folks hate being black so badly that they'll do anything to get an honorary white pass.

He was allowed to go home. Turns out he was the bully and instigator. Three police officers left the black teen on the ground with a knee in his back and placed him in handcuffs. He was taken to a security holding area. Turns out he was the hero in standing up for another kid who was being bullied. NJ governor has already admitted the police showed racially disparate treatment. The state prosecutor is reviewing video. Of course, Ben Crump is in NJ huddled up with the family. 😎

Racism prevents the integration of black history in tellling America's true story. She's been unwilling to pull scabs from the scars of slavery. 😎

I believe the GOP will reclaim the House after the mid-term elections. Instead of former POTUS 45 taking the circuitous route of joining Congress, I think he'll wait until 2024 to run again. 😎

Black history should be part of the curricula at every level of education all year round. Teaching black history should not be confined to one month and one week. 😎

IMO, the halftime show was excellent. I was very proud of Hip-Hop music representing so well. Destroying property in celebration or protest especially in one's own community makes no sense to me. 😎

Right. He was acquitted criminally but unsatisfied with that verdict they found him liable (guilty) in civil court. Goldman's father is still chasing that money. He's hired someone to keep an eye on every nickel OJ earns. The interesting part is the lawsuit cannot touch O'Js pension. He gets %25k per month for the rest of his life. Fame and fortune is easy to lose if/when one doesn't play by the rules. I hope the soccer player can move on from this situation.😎
