Who men SAY they want and like and who they end up actually SLEEPING WITH are often as different as day and night. Back when we were in our late teens and early 20s, I know a lot of dudes who used to laugh when I said I liked older women. They'd clown and say "You like saggy titties with dried up powdered milk in them, huh nigga!!!" But the weird thing is if they see me kicking it with an older co-worker in her 60s or 70s then all of a sudden they'd get jealous and wonder why she's talking to me so much and not them. Then a few weeks later they're all up in her face talking about she doesn't look her age and acting surprised that she's a grandma. Next thing you know they're telling me, "Mayne..some of these older women got BODIES on them....na'mean?????" "Yeah, but you weren't talking like that 3 weeks ago......" Nigga fulla shit..... You can't always go by what people SAY, you have to watch their BEHAVIOR to determine what's really on their minds.

Well on the flip side of that, must because someone is skinny doesn't mean they are healthy either. They say being obese puts you at risk for being diabetic and having high blood pressure, but I know quite a few skinny people who are both diabetic AND have high blood pressure. This is why I said we as AfroAmericans need to take charge of our own medicines and build our own hospitals and clinics so that we can take charge of our own health instead of relying on White science and doctors to help us. What's good for them isn't necessarily good for us. For decades White folks were pushing that Mediterranean diet bullshit where you eat a lot of bread and grains and pastas. We know a diet like that will put a lot of people at risk for diabetes because it's too rich in carbohydrates. We can't go by what THEY way....their way is often the way of death.

A preference is not a type. They are two different words. A type is someone you ONLY want. A preference is someone you would RATHER have but it doesn't exclude others.

Troy Actually, most people I know have body types and weights that are pretty set. Most women I know who were petite when they were young are now petite in middle age, maybe a LITTLE bit more fat on them but still the same body type for the most part. Men I know who were fat when they were young were fat when they got older. I'm slim now in my 50s.....and I was slim when I was a teenager and in my 20s and 30s. I know a FEW people who's body types changed, but not many.

SpeakHerTruth Yes men rule society, WHITE MEN. White men make most of the laws and set most of the rules. Other groups, Black women, Asian men, Black men, White women, etc....have various bits and degrees of authority and power allowed or delegated to them but most of the power in this society is still held by White men and THEY primarily are the ones who make the decisions on what is allowed. Again, an individual Black man can TAKE charge of his women and children and community if he wants....but he must be prepared for the consequences if that woman decides to call the police on him for doing so.

Neely Fuller Jr. says that no one is truly "educated" until they have gotten everything they want and need in life. Until then, they are merely EDUCATING themselves. We must also differentiate true EDUCATION from merely academic INDOCTRINATION. : A lot of times when you go to these public Universities, they don't actually educate you and teach you what you need to know to be successful in life. They merely INDOCTRINATE you with a bunch of lies, false history, and propaganda and if you can remember it and repeat it back to them then you graduate. But you don't gain REAL KNOWLEDGE that can actually help you or your community. You often have to learn that on your own by doing your own research or experimentation.

I don't associate a light high pitched or "girly" voice with talking like a White girl. I know a lot of well educated Black women who have proper English and I don't consider them talking White. A lot of it is the inflection and dialect that gives a woman a "white girl" sound. Another thing is AfroAmerican women tend to have deeper voices that a lot of women from other ethnic groups. I know a lot of African women who's pitch is just as high or higher than White women's and if you hear them talking, it sounds like birds chirping....lol. It just shows that we as a people need to get out and explore the world more. Everybody doesn't act or sound like us.

Just like a lot of light skinned AfroAmericans are arrogant and think they are prettier and better; a lot of dark skinned AfroAmericans are angry because of low self esteem and how they are treated in this society. When I'm out in public and I see a VERY dark skinned woman with her dark skinned baby smiling, playing with her baby, showing a lot of love and affection towards that child...I almost KNOW they are from Africa. Why? Because if they grew up in the United States that dark, there esteem would be so ruined from how they were treated in school by other children and by society that they would probably be on the streets and many are locked up in jail. Africans have a higher esteem because they grew up dark skinned in a society where everyone around them who are succesful looks like them. In the U.S. it's often the opposite. Growing up being called ugly, stupid, monkey, etc....help to ruin the esteem of a lot of people and often gives them a bad attitude.

SpeakHerTruth Men have PREFERENCES.....not TYPES. What's the difference? If I have three women in front of me, I may prefer one over the other two....but I'll still sleep with the other two. I don't find them a turn off and find them attractive, just not AS attractive as the one....thus I PREFER the first over the other two. Where as with a TYPE..... Woman already has in mind she wants "this kind" of man, whether it's a tall man, big man, rich man, Black man, Chinese man, etc.....that's her TYPE of man. So if 3 men are infront of her and only one happens to be her type...she ONLY wants that one man. She doesn't just prefer him, she ONLY wants him and usually won't even think about sleeping with the others unless they do something spectacular to grab her attention. This is not every man or woman obviously, but those two differences apply to 90%. of both men and women. Men typically have preferences while women typically have types.

Because in THIS society you have laws, rules, and regulations that prevent men from just BEING the men they want to be and doing what they want. We need permission for some things. You want to know where a lot of these "real men" who don't ask for permission and just DO what the hell they want to do, are? In prison, or dead. No. The women must step back and allow men to be men. I agree that women can't afford to look at sex recreationally like men; not just because they'll be called sluts......usually be OTHER WOMEN more so than men....but because they also run the risk of getting pregnant from sexual activity and have to bear the responsibility of taking care of any children resulting from their flings. But men don't mind trying to coerce a woman into sex because they find her attractive instead of just walking away. This is because many if not most men look at sex not only as fun and recreation but as a "challenge". They look at having sex with a woman who was originally hard to get as "conquering" her or breaking down her wall of defense.....which is a rewarding feeling. It may sound cruel on it's face, but if a man is weak and wimpy when it comes to women and sex.....he'll often be weak and wimpy when it comes to the other challenges of life, and a lot of women instinctively know this. Which is why they would rather take an arrogant and persistent asshole of a man over one who is more respectful of her wishes but easily gives up on pursuing her.

Well, first of all the Astrology that the GOVERNMENTS around the world including the United State and the Vatican is more real and more effective than that garbage they put out for the public in the supermarkets. Little rolled up pieced of colored paper giving you a daily reading like a fortune cookie, lol. They use REAL Astrological methods and read the stars to determine future events. But even what THEY haven't isn't like the original ancient Astrology that the Black people of ancient Africa and ancient India used to practice. Ours was more authentic and effective simply because we've been around much longer.....many many millions of years....so we've been around long enough to chart the stars, planets, and see how they line up with the events in life and on the planet. Ofcourse that got passed down to other cultures like the Greeks and Babylonians who not being original themselves ended up watering down the science and corrupting it.

SpeakHerTruth I agree with you that being simply a little overweight isn't the same as being obese. However like I said in the other thread, we first need to determine if someone is TRULY obese. It's often hard to simply look at someone and tell. A number of tests measuring fat to muscle/bone ratio often has to be made. Also, the standards should be different between Caucasian women and Black women of West African decent as their bone structures are often different and our bone structures tend to be denser and harder. Also, you must take MENTAL HEALTH into account. Sometimes the mental strain of constantly having to lose weight only to gain it back and lose it and gain it back isn't worth the aggravation and stress. Sometimes it's better to be fat and happy and relatively stress free enjoying yourself. Especially if your weight isn't interfering with other aspects of your life.

Problem is, most people think THEY are decent themselves....so they aren't a good judge. I know thugs and gangsters who've hurt people....yet they think THEY are better than some dude who snitched on them to the police who didn't commit a fraction of the violence they committed. Their morals and ethics are warped. We need set standards of morality and ethics and those who don't measure up shouldn't be allowed in our community UNLESS or UNTIL they reform themselves and meet those standards.

SpeakHerTruth I wouldn't necessarily call this woman "obese". As I've said before, her body is well proportioned with a smaller waist and wide hips and she doesn't have fat "hanging" off of her like the sista in the second picture. We also have to take into account how a lot of women are naturally "made". Some are naturally big boned with wide frames and can easily and healthily carry a lot of weight. Especially a lot of women of West African descent. Determining health and obesity shouldn't be governed by the "cookie cutter" definitions given to us by Caucasian scientists. It may be good for THEIR people, but not for ours.

If it were THAT obvious, I wouldn't be asking the question. However if it IS that obvious.....then my question should be answered relatively quickly.
