Lol....I'm not "desperate" for it, but I enjoy it. Why else do you think I actually post on this message board? If I didn't want any attention, I'd just be a lurker. Now....... Is there anything WRONG with wanting attention?

I tend to categorize people....so in my opinion not all Black Republicans are the same. I have more respect for the older Black Republicans who were more Conservative and traditionalist in their political and social ideology than these blind Trump-supporting Black Republicans today. Most of whom smoke weed, talk trash, and live dysfunctional lives while promoting Trump. Atleast in the old days I could count on the traditionalist and Conservative Black people to promote solid family structures, not be afraid to criticize homosexuality (although I'm not quite as against it as I was when I was religious), and were very critical of the moral decline in the AfroAmerican community. We don't have a lot of THOSE type of Black Republicans today. People like Tony Brown, Herman Cain, Thomas Sowell.......TRUE Conservatives. This is why I say we as AfroAmericans need to form OUR OWN party and promote OUR OWN values instead of falling in line with the Democrats or Republicans who don't have our best interests in mind.

One line says Evidence IS Proof Another line says evidence has to be "sufficient enough" before it IS Proof. Somewhat contradictory. Different dictionaries can have different definitions for the very same word. Websters dictionary defines evidence as that which SUPPORTS or FURNISHES proof....but it doesn't necessarily equal truth.

Stefan We're not talking about DEFINITIONS.....we're talking about ETYMOLOGY. The ORIGINS of words and how they're related.

I don't agree with that definition. If evidence was the same as proof, then why are so many people found NOT GUILTY even when mere "evidence" is presented against them? Infact, some "evidence" is thrown out by the judge for various reasons. Going by that definition, the judge is wrong because he threw out "proof". I believe evidence are things that SUPPORT and HELP to establish proof.....but it's not necessarily proof itself.

Right now I'm not focused on his MORALITY or his PSYCHOLOGICAL MAKE UP. So whether he's honest or a con-artists is irrelevant.....as far as I'm concerned RIGHT NOW Whether he's mentally disturbed or has a personality disorder is irrelevant....as far as I'm concerned RIGHT NOW. The question is...IS he an Alpha-male. You two say an Alpha-male is not only a leader but an EFFECTIVE leader. I personally would argue that not all Alphas are "effective" simply because most of them aren't perfect. I say what makes an Alpha is SIMPLE.....aggression and drive. No need to overly complicate it and add extra virtues on to it. They tend be aggressive and highly driven. Doesn't mean they're smart enough or wise enough or have the other virtues necessary to be effective in their tasks. But now, going back to his psychological make-up, how about this....... ProfD, you say if Umar was a real Alpha-male he would have had that school up and running already. But what if.....as you suggested in another thread....he was simply using the school as a HUSTLE or CON to keep the money coming in? Then his plan WOULD be effective, you just didn't know what his plan REALLY WAS.....which was not to build a school but keep a hustle going. I'm not saying this is the case, but consider it. Or do you believe a con artist and hustler can't be an Alpha?

Smart is simply having knowledge Wise is knowing how and when to PROPERLY APPLY the knowledge you have. BULL SHIZNIT.....lol. Troy Depending on the source doing the reporting I would accept it as proof 10 people were killed. And that's what I mean by it being "subjective". It's enough for proof to YOU. However having seen countless times where the news has gotten the murder count in situations like this WRONG and every day it seems they have to revise the numbers raising and lowering the count...I no longer accept their reports as even TRUTH let alone PROOF. I remember as far back as the Columbine shooting where several news sources as well as law enforcement itself confirmed atleast 25 people were killed. That number was SET It could only go up...not down. But low and behold it did....down to 10 or 15. Impossible. No way you could CONFIRM 25 deaths and then that count just magically drops unless The Messiah is there on the scene resurrecting dead bodies and bringing them back to life. So the news is no longer completely trusted as far as I'm concerned. ProfD Legally, circumstantial evidence has been enough to prove guilt or innocence in crimes. There's a case in Massachusetts right now where the husband is being charged with the murder of his wife. They will never recover her body to prove she's dead. But, his azz is going to prison based on evidence and his stupidity. Goes back to my assertion that "proof" is highly subjective. What constitutes as "proof" in a court of law may not necessarily be what WE think should be reasonably considered. Some people thought the infamous "bloody glove" with OJ's blood on it was "proof" that he killed Nicole and Ron. Yes, the glove was "circumstantial evidence"...but was it PROOF? But again, "proof" to me was actually WITNESSING him do it. Because MY standard of proof is so high, I can reasonable see and understand why he was found Not Guilty because there was a high possiblity that the bloody glove WAS planted by a racist cop. "Uhhh huh.....see that...told yall."

Troy ProfD says he's not an Alpha. I'm honestly not sure how to categorize him. I think he's a great ACTOR. Whether he's a....as they say in the streets..."real nigga" or true Alpha and not just pretending, not I'm not sure. ProfD He's got the intelligence and aggression to be a true Alpha. But as you point out, his EFFECTIVENESS seems to be lacking. However you do have dysfunctional Alphas. Hell, you got a lot of Alphas locked up in prisons with mental and emotional problems who just couldn't "get it right" for one reason or another. An argument can be made that he's TOO Alpha Too aggressive and egotistical to the point of being borderline and narcissistic to even get along with anyone else. Most Alphas realize they have to make SOME compromises in order to get along with others to get THEIR goals accomplished. You said an Alpha is capable of taking care of more than just himself. That is true. So consider this....... If a man is NOT doing that....it may not necessarily mean he's not an Alpha because the CAPABILITY may be there but the DESIRE to take care of others besides himself, may not. Maybe Dr. Johnson doesn't WANT to take care of anyone else besides himself.

I usually am in a state of peace, but there's a bit of nostalgia mixed in with it because the snow is reminding me of my childhood. ProfD I agree with you that Neely Fuller goes a little too far to say that Black males in the U.S. are not men and Black females are not women. Just because you are in prison....doesn't NECESSARILY mean that your biology and very state of being is altered or arrested. Perhaps we aren't the men we SHOULD be....but we are indeed men. I mean....even if you're a Beta or Gamma....you're still a man. You level of aggressiveness doesn't determine that. And unless a person is totally castrated, even the circumstances you find yourself in won't change that.
