  1. Cynique Like i said, you can't wrap your finite mind around the idea that the universe created itself Ofcourse I can't "wrap my mind" around it....because my mind is firm and STABLE. But someone with a weak and flabby mind can "wrap" their mind around anything because it's easily mansplain manipulated like silly putty.....lol. People who are weak minded and easily influenced are liable to believe ANY silly concept that is introduced to them without matching it with common sense. I prefer uncommon sense when i ponder. You're not alone. There are schizophrenics who share the same preferences! Troy If it is true then who created the "Someone" that brought the universe into existence? Who said That Someone had to be created? Perhaps They were ALWAYS in existence, having no need to be brought INTO existence. "Creation" is just our limited way of understand the order of things. It is based upon the passage of time which is how we perceive the universe, but time may not be the true nature of the universe. The popularity of "creationism" has less to do with perception and passage of time and more to do with an innate feeling in most human beings that force them to acknowledge that there is a Grand Power that produced and organized the natural wonders that they see in the universe. Nature has a way of HUMBLING human beings who become too arrogant and think they know everything.
  2. Cynique The epitome of mansplaining. I well aware of the "soup kitchen" community. You just need to be kept in check when you resort to hyperbole as was the case with you declaring that white college students were being paid $50,000 a year for serving hot meals to drug addicts, and subsequently contradicting yourself by saying these white kids serving hot meals to drug addicts were ones sentenced by the court to do community service. Keep it real. I keep it CIVIL. If I kept it "real" I'd have cussed you out a couple posts ago.....lol. Every other word would have been "N" this and "MF" that....lol. For you to call my statements contradictory is like me saying an apple is a fruit and you digging up a post where I called an orange a fruit and using THAT as an example of a contradiction. It's a silly attempt to play a game of "gotcha". Troy the science is clear. There is only one race and the world is an oblate spheroid not flat. This is not "my word" or "your word." These are just facts man. Again, this is my point: you have no problem disputing facts based upon your own limited knowledge and intuition. But "science" never said that there was only one race.....TROY is. But you're right about one thing, this is no longer simply MY word againt YOUR word. I've enlisted the help of Merriam-Webster: 1 :any one of the groups that human beings can be divided into based on shared distinctive physical traits. c :a category of humankind that shares certain distinctive physical traits https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/race And Wikipedia "Race is a concept used in the categorization of humans into groups, called races or racial groups, based on combinations of shared physical traits, ancestry, genetics, and social or cultural traits" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_(human_categorization) So both of these OFFICIAL DEFINITIONS back me up on the fact that not only is "race" a form of categorizing people.....but also the fact that there is MORE THAN ONE RACE.
  3. Troy Well that would be true if you buy into the premise that this was a conspiracy in the first place. Well you certainly didn't know about the lead poisonings in Flint and New York until someone EXPOSED the fact that it was happening. This means it was being kept SECRET.....and the key factor of a conspiracy is SECRECY. I do not believe that white people got together and say hey well can damage some Black people if we introduce led into their environments Neither do I believe that ALL White people...or even MOST White people as a group....got together to plan this. But one thing seems to be clear...... The White people who ARE responsible for doing this seem to be stronger and more determined than the White people who aren't. You ARE aware of the Tuskeegee Experiment where Black men were secretly given syphilis and monitored, aren't you? Certainly racist conspiracies against Black Americans aren't unheard of.
  4. Troy I'm gonna get you -Sheeeeeyyyid...... I wish I could "get with" ALL THREE of them....one at a time....lol. Cynique Do your daughters know you're posting pictures of them all over the web? That one in the black leather coat looks like she'd slap the TASTE out of man's mouth is he came at her sideways....lol.
  5. Cynique Who says the universe was created by a someone? Your common sense SHOULD say it. First of all, the fact that the Universe EXISTS is proof that Someone must have brought it into existence. Second of all, there is so much order and intricate detail in the Universe that clearly an Intelligence was involved. Apparently your mind can't conceive that this wasn't the case. That's because my mind operates on LOGIC, not peer pressure from White influence. When you think for YOURSELF instead of letting White people tell you what to think.....you'll automatically conclude that a Higher Power than man must have created and designed this planet and Universe. Black people didn't question the existence of The Supreme Being who not only created but intelligently designed the Universe UNTIL contact with White people.
  6. Cynique According to your previous post, these people feeding drug addicts are white college graduates earning $50,000 a year until they can find a job in their profession. If you'd stop looking for excuses to poke holes in my statements and just use your common sense, you MIGHT come up with an interesting concept about what I've said...... That concept being...... Lol, are you ready for it? ALL OF IT is true! When you go to places like homeless shelters, drug rehab centers, and other places that focus on feeding and supposedly helping the poor you find a MIX of people involved. Some are staff members who get paid. Some are volunteers doing it for their church or social organization. Some are former and current clients who choose to turn around help out. Some are people sentenced by the court to do community service. There's a wide variety of people doing things for a myriad of different reasons. This doesn't nullify what I said, it just includes it. Troy you continually assert there is a Black race, a white race, as well as a few others. And you say that there is only ONE race....the "human race". Am I correct? If so, it's basically YOUR WORD against MY WORD. How does you offering an opposing or contradictory position "prove" mine wrong? Besides just saying it over and over again, what evidence have you brought to PROVE that there is only one race?
  7. As we've learned from the soldiers who were killed in Niger, the U.S. military IS in that area of Africa and is quite active. If Black America had the political power and influence we SHOULD have given our numbers....we would have forced the Pentagon to send a few thousand troops into North Africa to investigate and prosecute those involved with slavery and other forms of human trafficking.
  8. Who's to say there is only ONE Universe. Perhaps there are multiple.....parallel....Universes. Troy So you're basically saying that I clarified the TEXT of your post but not the INTENT? Cynique and when it comes to the truth, who knows? The One Who created the Universe(s).
  9. Many of the young White people you see serving meals to poor people are there doing COMMUNITY SERVICE. They got caught driving drunk or with a stash of drugs on them and they were sentenced to doing a week of work at the local soup kitchen to avoid time in jail. Like I've said time and time again, don't expect the SAME people who caused poverty and are benefiting from it.....to end it.
  10. It's no longer a "conspiracy" once they start doing it OPENLY. Anyone over 40 can EASILY see how much the Black American community has declined intellectually, morally, and socially, over the past 30 years. There has to be a cause for this. We know that lead contamination in children causes intellectual impairment and violent tendencies and we know that lead contamination is mostly concentrated in the inner cities that are mostly Black and Brown. But that fact that Black people collectively haven't done anything to remedy the situation yet speaks volumes about us as a people. It shows the entire world how much care about our children and how much we care about our future.
  11. Del Pioneer in all seriousness. You may need to find a way to handle this frustration. Or it will eat you. Normally I would give you a hard time. Not on this one. I found out a long time ago that one of the best things to do for ME to handle my frustrations is....not hop on a plane and fly to Australia to get away from the ghetto....lol....but to become active in my community and solve the problems I believe exist. Mel are you having a difficult time getting oxygen to your brain. Where do you come up with these wild assumptions. I just happened to live in county that is run by a woman and the Mayor of the city is a woman,... I think the mayor even served in the military. By the way, both of these women are black. Our county sheriff is a black man but there are quite of few deputies that are women...and dispatch is also staffed by women... Do these women work WITH men.....or are they working BY THEMSELVES IN-DEPENDENT of men? Are they living in a county WITH men....or are they living in THEIR OWN county being ran TOTALLY by women with no men to DEPEND on? See Mel, independene means just that....IN-DEPENDANT.....NOT DEPENDANT on anyone else. I said there is NO SUCH THING as women (as in a community) who exist INDEPENDENT of men and I stand by that statement until proven wrong. And again, the MAIN men women of color in this nation depend on are WHITE MEN.
  12. Mel But I think @Pioneer1 just taught us something! I've BEEN teaching...... Yall just ain't been paying attention.....lol. Del Pioneer I may have been wrong on both counts. In underestimating you and overestimating Mel Cynique and Troy That's alright.... It wouldn't be the first time....lol. If I let it bother me everytime you were wrong about me or my intentions.....I'd be on medication, lol. Troy and Cynique The lady doth protest too much, methinks (since you love the British and their dictionaries so much Didn't I tell you they were inlove with White men....lol. https://aalbc.com/tc/topic/4804-questions-for-cynique-mel-and-anyone-else-who-can-answer-them/ Now, about this "mansplaining" business..... According to Neely Fuller Jr., a word is BEST defined by those who coined or invented it. This is to prevent what we see taking place right now, which is Black people bickering and squabbling over words that NEITHER of them invented and NEITHER know the true origin or definition of.....lol. Just like they often do over religion and politics. From what I understand, the word "mansplain" was coined by WHITE FEMINISTS. So I think Black women should let THEM have the word and invent another for themselves to use....that is...if they really WANT to go the feminist route. But Black women who call themselves feminist should abandon their feminist like ideologies because it's nothing but another tool by White racists to divide the Black community and keep it weak. The same White women who'll jump up and down about how condescending men are and complain how they talk down to women.....are the same ones who voted for Trump and slept with Harvey Weinstein.
  13. Troy Pioneer, that is easy. Here is one; Your position on "race" remains unchanged despite all the information, science, and data that has been shared with you. This like arguing the world is flat. As Antonio Montana would say: OK...... Then I have 2 questions for you: 1. Will you please kindly tell me what do you believe IS my position on race.....that you claim hasn't changed? 2. And do you believe that "race" actually exists? Cynique ??? Are there actually white college graduates serving hot meals to drug addicts in the ghetto? This is why i can't groove with you, Pioneer. What you say sounds so unlikely. How many soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and drug rehab facilities have you been around that you can intelligently judge whether my statement is accurate or not? You don't judge whether or not I'm telling the truth simply because it "sounds" unlikely. Hell, it "sounds" unlikely that sight and sound can travel through air; yet someone proved it could happen by inventing the television....lol. I'm trying to imagine a scenario where ghetto drug addicts are being served hot meals by anybody, because these people are on the street focused on quick ways to get their next fix, Drugs are their top priority, but they're STILL human beings and must have their basic needs of FOOD, clothing, and shelter met. Again......... Most of these "poverty programs" that are being funded by the government do next to NOTHING to aleviate poverty because many of the people who are running them are racist, inept, and or and insincere in their efforts. They pretend to care about the poor but actually use their programs to line thier own pockets, hook their friends up with good jobs, and enjoy a feeling of "superiority" over less fortunate people.
  14. Although it's the first time I've seen it worded that way...... I'm presuming Del's "Wednesday Thursday Friday" stands for "W T F" or "what the fuck". Del Would I be correct? Or did you mean something else?
  15. Del I am not certain how your two statements are different. In the picture Cynique posted, it infers that the Universe CREATED us to be an image or reflection of Itself. But Troy is inferring that there was no act of creation but that we simply ARE the image of the Universe Itself.
  16. Del Insult my previous post all you want...... But I'm probably one of the FEW people who understood what YOU just posted....lol.
  17. Virginia NGO's are working hard by organizing different volunteering programs for helping the people. Virginia, many of these NGOs and Non Profit Organizations are nothing but SCAMS that not only do nothing to aleviate poverty but actually CONTRIBUTE to it. I've worked for a couple and I've been on the inside to know what I'm talking about. First of all, most of these NGOs and NPOs are nothing but programs to provide jobs for White kids who get out of college with degrees but can't find jobs in the corporate world. So when they can't find a job with Google, they have a friend that hooks them up with a job serving hot meals to drug addicts in the ghetto until they find something better. Second, many of these organizations have CONTRIBUTED to the poverty rate because many of the programs that Presidents Roosevelt and Johnson instituted were ran by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. .....which means that because of affirmative action and hiring laws, many of the positions inside these government organizations were actually held by BLACK PEOPLE and provided them with good paying jobs. But when these institutions went private or Non-Profit......that exempted them from many of the strict hiring laws they had to adhere to, so instead of being forced to hire qualified Black people.....they instead employed White kids and paid THEM $40,000 or $50,000 to come to the ghetto and feed people. This is why my signature says: If you do not UNDERSTAND White Supremacy...what it is...and HOW IT WORKS...everything else you understand will only CONFUSE you. You'll be CONFUSED as to why so many people and so much money is funneled into eliminating poverty yet it continues to increase. Troy I can never prove, to your satisfaction, that anything you say is false or ridiculous. Asking me to do so is a waste of my time. I've never observed you change your position on a subject even when presented with information to the contrary. Lol, come on man...... First of all, being presented with mere "information" to the contrary shouldn't be enough to make me...you...or ANYONE change their position. We have to first make sure that that "information" is correct. Now I'm not going to say I NEVER do it, but can you point to atleast 2 instances where I was presented with CORRECT information that contrasted my postion on a given subject where I failed to change it? I'd like 2, but I'll take one. Describing research, information, and facts as "academic." is an excuse for the not to facing the reality that your position is flawed There's a difference between flawed....and wrong. ObamaCare is "flawed".....but it's positives outweigh it's negatives. Is it your contention that the ONLY way a person can intelligently talk about a subject is if they've gone out and done endless amounts of research on it complete with documents and affidavits? Describing yourself as, "a straight shooter", and saying you "speak plainly, directly, and to the point." does not make what you say true. True. But it DOES make me a better communicator than one who is well researched but vague and confusing in their delivery to the audience.
  18. Del Pioneer maybe its your personality not your colour. Man, why are you spelling "color" as "colour"? That's the way the British and Australians spell it...lol...I thought you were from the United States. But as far as my personality......... I have actually made 2 separate but somewhat related points in this thread: (.....which I'm beginning to believe was a mistake to make in the first place...I mean, did I really expect for either one of them to actually ADMIT they were inlove with White men even if they really felt that way?) 1. My first point was that I believe Cynique's and Mel's behavior exemplifies the typical behavior of a lot of AfroAmerican women in this society today. They seem to put a lot of praise and value on the opinions of White men over other men of color or atleast over Black men. 2. My second point was a complaint about how Cynique (and now Mel) usually react to my statements whether they actually agree with them or not. And I think the second point DOES have a lot to do with my personality. I've been told that I come across as somewhat forceful and dominant in my opinions and a lot of women in this society have been trained NOT to cater to that demeanor.....especially when it's coming from a Black man. And once I've been pegged as "that guy" by these two....even if I make good solid points....can I expect for either one of those them to salute me for them? Mel I meant to address a point you made earlier about how you mostly admire Black women, see them as the game changers, and believe that if anyone saves us it's going to most likely be the Black women. The "Black girls rock" Michelle Obama pushes. We know that NO WOMEN exist independantly of men. Oh she may not have a man in her IMMEDIATE environment as far as in her home or paying her bills, but she certainly has a man and most likely a GROUP of men in her community and in the nation she lives in who are keeping her fed, employed, healthy, keeping her car running, keeping her plumbing working, and keeping her safe from criminals. And in THIS society/nation....those men are usually WHITE MEN. They OWN the damn "game"....so I know you really don't expect for Black women or any other women to be real "game changers" without the involvement of White men in this society. So really what you're saying either directly or indirectly is that you aren't waiting on Black men to save you....you're going to just focus on moving foreward with WHITE MEN to protect and provide for you and your children as they've been doing for centuries.
  19. Donna Brazile Damn, that woman is sexy! Even her NAME is sexy.....lol.
  20. One of the best ways to honor our Black war veterans would be to: 1. Put some of our best and brightest minds into federal positions so that they can influence our foreign policies and keep us out of needless wars like Vietnam, Korea, and Iraq....where so many Black soldiers have already lost their lives. 2. Encourage Black youth to actually JOIN the armed forces so that they can learn how to fight and defend themselves against enemies both foreign AND domestic. Say what you will, but it seems to me that the military often times gives our young people the needed discipline they're not getting at home or at school.
  21. Mel Nothing is "weird" about a man who hates the fact that the women of his own race/ethnic group are more in love with and find White men more stimulating than him. White men and even men of other races have STARTED WARS over the very same thing. It's called JEALOUSY...and I admit I'm JEALOUS of how so many White men have captivated Black women in a way I haven't been able to do yet. I don't think jealousy is wrong, The Supreme Being gave us that emotion for a reason. But perhaps you're right that it IS weird....to see a Black man exhibit that type of frustration though because most Black men seem to care less whether their own women respect them or not
  22. Come on......it ain't that hard. Her comment was directed at the one who is AWESOME.....lol.
  23. Cynique My response....or lack there of....stems from my realization of something that I've suspected for months now. No matter what I post, how powerful the argument, regardless as to how persuasive it is you two probably would acknowledge it as being a valid anyway, let alone agree with it or concede to it. No one is ALWAYS wrong. An imbecile, a deranged demented old man, even a schizophrenic is right SOMETIMES even in their twisted thinking. So anytime I run into people who rarely if EVER agree with anything I say......it has less to do with race or politics and more to do with personality. I'm beginning to wake up now. It took some time because when I interact with other Black people I'm usually so optimistic that I don't see THEM the way they may see ME.....so I'm always looking for unity and searching for validation of ideas. But once it's been made clear to me..... Del Pioneer shouldn't your meme be wearing a dashiki? ....and shouldn't YOU be wearing this white skull cap to go with that white towel laying across your neck? They go together you know...lol.
  24. Thank you Virginia! I figured it would only be a matter of time before somebody noticed...lol.
  25. Del It is unlikely that you will have information that I have been searching for my whole life You got THAT right....lol. Arrogant people who brag about flying to Europe to eat cheese and chocolates in old museums probably don't search for ANY type of information.....because they usually think they KNOW everything already! But I read somewhere years ago that in some ancient cultures the "shaman" and most psychic people were often bisexual or homosexual. They occupied the role of what many would consider today the "priestly class". Men and women who didn't get married and produce children, but just dedicated their lives to spiritual matters. Being bisexual, homosexual, or even asexual......joining this class was probably a way out of having to get married and produce a family which was what almost all normal men and women were expected to do.
