  1. Facebook and Twitter are private institutions and have a right to accept and reject whoever they like on their platform. However the PROBLEM is......... They sell themselves as "public" forums which confuses people and gives them the false impression that they have the right to say what they please. This has been happening in real life for years even before the internet. For the past 50 years or so in the United States there has been a big campaign to eliminate public spaces and privatize them. You see it as PUBLIC parks and libraries are being replaced by PRIVATE shopping malls and book stores. Unlike the old days where you used to be able to sit down and relax in the public park all day long even if you were broke or stand up in the public square and speak your mind, now you have to BUY something or leave and risk being kicked out and banned if you solicit or say something the establishment doesn't agree with. Perhaps we need a "public" Facebook where there's no one in charge and you can REALLY say whatever you feel like and post what you like as long as it's not calling for the harm of anyone.
  2. Troy I keep telling yall that she doesn't WANT me to leave, lol. I told you months (probably a couple years) ago that Cynique has mixed feelings for me that fluxuate back and forth between jealousy and attraction. - Jealous that I may get more attention from you than she does because she enjoys the attention of saying what's on her mind - And attracted to me (and you too...as well as Xeon and Nubian Fellow -but not Del....lol) based on the natural feminine desire for masculine energy. Infact, based on my observations I'd say the order for her attraction goes like this. 1. Troy 2. Xeon/ Pioneer1 (for different reasons) 3. Nubian Fellow For some reason I thought she'd be more attracted to Kalexander but she doesn't seem to care too much for him based on what I've noticed between those two.
  3. Listen, what's wrong with you? Why you gotta act all ghetto and savage in Mel's' thread? Now here we all are having an intelligent conversation about AfroAmerican culture and YOU had to ruin it.....lol. Get your emotions together. Anyway...... That delicious food made with cornbread is called DRESSING instead of STUFFING is another part of AfroAmerican culture that it especially brought to my attention around the holidays. And when I was a kid almost every Black family I knew around the entire city and even down South put GIZZARDS in their dressing.
  4. I also heard he was one baaaaad mutha--watch yo mouth!!
  5. Chev Ok, I'll concede on the Great Wall's date of construction. My original point about it was that it was built to keep wild Caucasian tribes from Central Asia out of their land. Whether it was 2000 B.C. or 200 B.C. the purpose remained the same. The dates of the pyramids are way before the 'Jews' became captive in Egypt! Black people watch too much TV. It's not just the television, the Bible ALSO claims that the Children of Israel built the cities of ancient Egypt when historical records show that's not true. it is important to understand how other civilizations date history as well in order to confirm facts. Maybe I didn't make my question clear. I know how planets and starts show a pattern of aligning with eachother. And ofcourse most ancient civilizations had their OWN CALENDARS in which to record events or recall them. Others used starts and planetary alignments as you mentioned to do it also. And yet others used both. My question more specifically is how are the dates from WESTERN CALENDARS for these ancient events like those claimed in the Bible confirmed and verified through the solar system? Also, my question remains how does the solar system and planetary alignment CONFIRM and VERIFY that an event actually took place? In other words..... If you said Jesus walked on water, how can I look up at the starts and confirm this or when it took place? If you said there was a major flood over the Earth and Noah and his family were saved, where in the sky can I look up at and verify this? Do you understand what I'm asking? This planet SATURN is called THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM ????? Who calls it that? According to the Bible the star of Bethlehem that the wisemen followed to let them know where Jesus was actually MOVED. It moved across the sky and then stood still....planets don't do that.
  6. Why THANK YOU dear! And I will BE SURE to recommend that this bit of knowledge you're sharing with us be included in the revised edition of:
  7. A guy who ADMITS he lives in a "different world" shouldn't mention split personalities, lol.
  8. Chev I am again repeating this statement that you are not understanding; THE SOLAR SYSTEM! The Solar System is one of many other methods used by ancient civilizations to record historical events and confirm. Dates and times can be confirmed through methodology. My 'assertions' are based on confirmations. You're right, I'm not understanding it. Since I'm not the smartest person in the world can you explain to me as best you can how the solar system is used to accurately verify or identify the time of an event? My relative has been to see the Great Wall of China first hand, and has verified this event with the people over there. But even still, this historical event can be confirmed in so many other ways. What event? We both agree that the Great Wall of China exists, the dispute is over WHEN it was built. Now what event took place that identifies the date it was built? What!? 1500 years ago would be AD 500. No one says this! I'm sorry I meant to write 1500 years B.C., the alleged time of Moses and the Exodus. But people were saying for centuries that it was these Jewish slaves in Egypt who built the pyramids until records and archeological evidence proved otherwise.
  9. Why don't you "behold" on to deez afro-centric nu -never mind....lol.
  10. .....yeah, and I'm the one who "prodded" your memory.
  11. Oh! I know you're a little "special"....so let me slowly explain.............. Both you and Del were INSINUATING (without being brave enough to come right out and say it) in the other thread that "Latinos" in New York are just as responsible for the invention/creation of Hiphop as the AfroAmericans. I believe you two were WRONG about this. Clearly Puerto Ricans (and Dominicans?) were PARTICIPATING in Hiphop during it's embryonic stage but that doesn't mean they came up with the idea. Where is the Latino version of Kool Herc? No matter how far back you go, the idea had to originate with SOMEONE and I maintain that that "someone" was an English speaking AfroAmerican. However my point for naming those countries is.... Even if we were to entertain your INSINUATION that "Latinos" either came up with the idea of Hiphop or deserve just as much credit: 1.Most Latinos involved in early Hiphop were Puerto Ricans of African descent. 2. And since Latino nations like Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Haiti are also part of the American hemisphere ....technically speaking most of those Puerto Ricans were AfroAmerican who just practiced a Latin culture. Which means the founders of Hiphop were STILL AfroAmerican.
  12. See that's why you didn't know Mexico and Haiti were part of America! Instead of paying attention, you were probably nodding off and sleeping in your Social Studies class back in Highschool like you're doing now...lol. WAKE UP! And STAY WOKE!
  13. Actually.........................
  14. After pondering the argument and upon further research I now realize I was indeed wrong. I now realize that the phonograph in it's entirety wasn't the turn table but that the "turn table" was an earlier name of the COMPONENT of the phonograph that actually spins the record. Although I knew the turn tables DJ's use was based on this and was a highly modified form of it, I didn't know it was actually called this BEFORE the Hiphop era. However I still believe that Break Dancing and MC'ing (as we know it in Hiphop) was born from AfroAmerican youth. But as it "turns" out.....lol....the turn table as it is named was clearly in existence.
  15. Del You may be projecting. Mel thinks you are several people perhaps she is correct. Is this the same Mel who thinks you and her are TWINS????? Unless you have a long lost twin sister, I wouldn't put too much faith in her diagnosis....LOL. Mel which makes me think that Pioneer is actually a 30-something woman! LOL.....WOMAN IS YOU CRAZY???????? I wish I had the number to some of your people and I'd call them and tell them to come and check on you, make sure you're alright....lol. Troy What's up with your people? One of them thinks I'm a gay White mason.... Another thinks I'm a 30 year old woman.... ....ofcourse you haven't met me so YOU can't dispute any of these assertions outright, but I can't be ALL of them....lol.
  16. Minister Farrakhan's Response:
  17. Cynique I corrected myself, something you never do, and Well your words are still there in the other thread just as I quoted them, no changes have been made to your statement that Haiti, Jamaica, and Mexico are NOT part of America. So you're STILL wrong. Troy can you reference a single incidence when you did this? Can you ponit to a reference when Del or Cynique admitted that they were wrong and I was right about an issue? I was clearly correct about this issue, but once again.....the women are sticking together while the Black men are divided. A microcosm of the macrocosm.....lol. Mel I would have agreed, @Pioneer1. If you wrote "the Americas" of even North America. - I would have given you a pass on PR and DR ... Yep! I will sometimes let those slide because I can’t keep up with the politics - like with Guam. BUT NOOOO..you tried to be tricky and write "America"...That was a technical foul in my book. There are no tricks and fouls, I was CLEARLY correct. The ENTIRE Western Hemisphere is America. You may have North America and South America and our nation is the United States OF America, but it's all part of America (proper). No need to qualify it with other words. Plus you tried to "shame" me - and that really pisses me off. I don’t take kindly to social engineering 😠 Listen..... If you aren't ashamed of coming on here and declaring how grateful you are that some blue eyed White man swooped down and scooped you up......lol....there's nothing I can say that will shame you. There IS NO shame in your game. Besides, my calling you into the dispute wasn't an attempt to shame you as much as it was a TAUNT. I figured you knew geography and were purposely remaining silent so as to show solidarity with Cynque rather than tell her she's wrong. I had no idea you'd come right on out and BACK HER UP in her foolishness though....lol.
  18. Troy So even when I'm clearly correct you're STILL going to give it to them???? I'd hate to have YOU as a judge in a divorce proceeding..... A woman could kill her husband's dog, set his clothes on fire, and demolish his car and you'd STILL rule in favor of her and give her the house and the money because he "didn't make it clear" that he didn't want her to do those things....LOL. Cynique I did not include Puerto Rico in my statement because It is a possession of the USA. The natives of these other 3 countries when asked what they are, would in all probability say Haitian , Jamaican or Mexican, not American, although technically their countries are located in the American hemisphere. Ahhhhhh....you fucked up, lol. Don't try to clean it up NOW. You said specifically and I have you in quotes that those other nations are NOT part of America: You were clear in your words. What people CALL themselves is irrelevant, facts are facts. You guys keep getting on me about not admitting when I'm wrong but when have YOU admitted that you were wrong???? You certainly aren't doing it now.
  19. Chev I do understand this too. But no, the GREAT WALL OF CHINA was not built between 3000 and 4000 BC. That is ridiculous. You are not considering any form of historical timing. Lol..... Why do you believe my assertions about the so-called historical timing being incorrect ridiculous, but YOUR assertions about them being incorrect...valid? My points was that just like you're saying that the dates many of these modern archeologists give for biblical events aren't true, I'm echoing your sentiments but in reference to the Great Wall of China and certain other wonders of the ancient world. I don't necessarily believe that Great Wall was built that recently. It's much older and there are no records from the Chinese themselves claiming 200 B.C., only Western scientists. Remember, they were saying not too long ago that the pyramids were built by Jewish slaves about 1500 years ago until more information came out and they were forced to change their story.
  20. If you're referring to your psychiatrists................ You should know they are devising medication to bring your "internal world" to an end, so be careful....lol.
  21. He probably didn't condemn Elijah for the simple fact that he DIDN'T do it. .....and there's no proof or credible evidence that he did.
  22. Wow...lol. I'm actually a bit surprised that you consider what she said factual. I didn't actually expect for you to side with ME against Cynique on this or anything else....lol....but as much as you've been around I thought YOU knew better and would have just said nothing; but to consider it "fact"?? Del may have been relating his first hand experience but his experiences are irrelevant to his argument because none of those he's related have proven me wrong. His telling me about what he was doing in the 70s has no bearing on who invented/create/made/whipped up/molded together/conjured up Hiphop and the elements of it like Break Dancing, MC'ing, and the Turntable which I maintain CAME FROM AfroAmericans and so far his so-called experiences haven't proven otherwise. Troy White people not using wash cloths sounds like an urban legend to me. It's no urban legend, it's quite true for a large group of White people. Having worked in an extended stay residence as well as a couple fitness centers I can attest to the fact that most White people don't. But the strange thing is most White people in the South DO while most White people from the North and West Coast as well as from Europe don't. I'm not sure why, but this is what I've noticed. Another thing is most White women wash their hair in the shower while most Black women don't.....lol. BTW....I started a thread with a question in it for you: https://aalbc.com/tc/topic/5855-calling-professor-johnson-what-is-america/
  23. Hey Troy, there seems to be a bit of confusion about what constitutes what is known as the Americas. I said that Haiti, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Jamaica are nations that are part of America. Cynique said NO they aren't and Mel (to my surprise actually) supported her and said this was fact. https://aalbc.com/tc/topic/5840-what-is-african-american-culture/page/2/?_fromLogin=1 I know geography isn't your field but since you are an educator and I assume have a general foundation of geo/political knowledge as part of a well rounded education, so would YOU care to set the record straight? Are Haiti, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Jamaica nations that are part of AMERICA (not U.S.A), or are they not ?
  24. Yep....spittin' image of each other, lol. Why....I saw a DJ using the good ole phonograph on the right just a few days ago mixing it up at the club LOL. I wonder did Edison "invent/create" the headphones most DJs use to go with it also????? BTW....exactly WHEN did I say those nations were part of the "USA"????? I don't recall saying that. I said they were part of AMERICA, not the USA. Mel Where are you??????? You've been sitting mighty quiet over there......lol. Why don't YOU go ahead and back up your girl Cynique???? You agree with her that those nations I mentioned are NOT part of America don't you? Right????? Go on ahead and show your girl some support.....lol.
