  1. Few Black folk recognizes these as vital to their business; most hire management who procure services separate from places of business. My wife would make me sleep in her garden if I hired a maid in our home, she has female relatives who help her when needed. What you advocate is like asking a Black Business to buy tickets to a movie for the neighborhood. Never heard of excellence with such a meaning, or in that term. As far as I'm concerned, every human being alive has exceptional espects to her/his nature that they simply need to expoit, instead of being expioted by others to their disadvantage.
  2. FAIR ENOUGH, no need to expose your real name or life identity, I need something in return, though I am only mildly insulted by your nondisclosure. Just apologize for not doing so. In which case you have my apology for insulting your "ancestors."
  3. The disclosure is meant magnify, drive home why you should never expect an apology (content people hardly ever apologize), that unless you apologize to this group for failure to disclose who you really are. Not honest disclosure, just an apology; in which case you're right, I will apologize! Until then, please be as hostile as you like, I'll choose whether I want to ignore you or respond, accordingly.
  4. This is true on all accounts. The great American past-times, to me, are a great waste of time, and money. Investment in the Children is the ultimate investment for any marginalized group.
  5. You make excellent, articulated points here. However, if creating student debt is fruitless than so is 'hand-outs' from more prominent Blacks. True excellence lay in 'simplicity' and complexity's simply not knowing, understanding how things work, not knowing self. It is true, writing books is not an, all, powerful formula for self-preservation but it can be a snug towards self-determination, an initial step towards control of self. I'd never underestimate the resolve of human determination or a person's ability to learn. Geniuses don't go to college, they learn and graduate from college. An ex-felon drug offender has much to tell her/his community, a murderer has many stories to tell about life and death. Learning to write is as simple as learning one's ABC's; learning to write well takes practice, time, and determination. Hence, the sacrifice.
  6. Impreachment coming into focus, more and more these days: Early this morning as the final precincts reported, Donald Trump recorded his first devastating November defeat – and it's not even November yet! In California's 76th Assembly District, two Democratic candidates rode a wave of blue voter turnout to grab both spots in the November General Election, freezing out all six Republicans in this GOP-held seat. This guarantees the first red‐to‐blue flip in the whole country on November 6th – because there won't even be a Republican on the ballot! In total, Dems have now flipped 43 seats from red to blue since Trump was elected, including California's 76th and Missouri Democrat Lauren Arthur's crushing, 19-point victory last night in a Trump-won state Senate seat. Now, its just six days away from a pair of Wisconsin special elections to flip even more seats before November. I doubt Dems will let opportunities like that slip away. When Walker tried and failed to block these elections in three different courtrooms, he really exposed the GOP's desperation. Flipping these seats right as the November campaigns heat up would deliver yet another huge shot of momentum for Democrats going into the fall. The GOP is desparate.
  7. Character and personality accessment based on Pioneer1's post responses. People often fail to ignore controversy because of personal dissatisfaction with themselves. Unhappy about their life.
  8. Pioneer1: last month I recieved bank/direct deposits in access of $23,000, has been that way for the past 2-years, expecting more in coming months, not counting retirement/pension. Even if you knew my social security, passport, drivers lic information. I'm cool with it because you can do me no harm. I don't care what people say, think of me because they can do nothing for me, I'm satisfied with what I have. NOW, just how sure are you that I'll apologize for something intentionally meant to say, what in the fu*k can your poverty stricken, scwany little butt do to me?
  9. More fuel for GOP fears, reasons to impeach DT if suspected he'll be found guilty of defamation, or tell lies at the deposition. GOP'ers are running scared since last night's primaries. A Manhattan Supreme Court judge on Tuesday ruled that Donald Trump must sit for a seven-hour deposition by Jan. 31, 2019, the New York Post reports. The deposition will occur as part of a defamation brought last year by former “The Apprentice” contestant Summer Zervos, who accused Trump of groping her in 2016. Trump later called the allegation “fiction.”
  10. Being Black, poor, and marginalized satisfy any three-strikes (you're out) rule, for success; a criminal background to boot cements a life of ever illusive opportunity. To try, is to do. To not try, is not to do! So, what are some choices felonious Black men/women who served sentences for criminal offences? Brothers and sisters just don't want to sacrifice what's needed to obtain a formal college education; which could grant near vindication of criminal backgrounds. But some sacrifice, like or not, is required to say you, at least, tried. Even if you ultimately fail. Changing lifestyles, habits, or environments are keys towards making a personal difference, whether you have what it takes to survive is simply a matter of how much work you put into change. Entrepreneurship is only way to go if you're a Black ex-felon newly released from prison/jail. Writing books is not only a respectable career, it's a way to make some quick cash. Subscribe to Black websites such as AALBC for insights on writing books, go-to guides for how to write, publish, and promote sales. After all, Being Black is having a lot of stories to tell people.

  14. YEP, we've already done that BET; and I'm sure the Black charity of my choice is going to be $50 bucks closer to realizing a needed goal. It won't be until after the November Midterms America can plan on it's future, but too many are afraid November may be too late. That's why some unpopular decisions (impeachment, etc.) will go from the table to dinner plates, last ditch efforts.
  15. New allegations Paul Manafort tampered with a witness in the ongoing investigation into his potential crimes could finally get to open-up on Trump's official violations. Witness tampering is the same as jury tempering (I think?) and doesn't require trial or other formal proceedings; just reasonable proof he violated terms of his bail/release and "BAM," 30-180 days in the slammer. I wonder if he can handle 30-180 days living in a controlled environment among all manner of criminals? A desperate Manafort is begging for DT to make a move, save his family legal fees (official pardon) or give him reason to finally cooporate with Muller. Does he really know enough to further incriminate DT; or just crimes concerning himself? The Manafort issue is getting interesting! AGAIN.
  16. Thanks everybody! Don't have anything to add right now because I'm too busy considering how to incorporate all these great strategies into my marketing plans.
  17. Indeed, my usage of the word pinch was watered down; a more appropriate word is 'squeezed' to near death; threats in the November wind will be a sign of relief; Congress will ultimately conclude. In any-case I do not think they'll wait around for the mid-terms to get DT out. An 'all or nothing' last moment to save the GOP is risky.
  18. Dear Google, Black People are not a generic advertisement Marginalized, poverty stricken, and victimized but Black folk are not a dead advertisement line; We're alive, but Google says it can't offer a search for "Black People" except as descents of slaves or 'race' of marginalized immigrants. Google can satisfy search for White people, White supremacy, and even American Nazi with all their so-called rich histories; but not Black people as 'continental descents' of Africa who caused the world to be what is today.
  19. In direct conjunction with Delano's thread, prediction related to Trump' presidency term in office ending before 2019; and this responder's prediction, based on data and current events, concur. The ever-expanding economic wealth gap between Blacks and Whites in America is common in all human societies; old as Indian cast systems, is (as argued) today the new American bogyman of radical change that will bring Donald Trump down and usher in a socio-economic destruction we're unable adequately prepare for. White folk will feel a pinch, Blacks will get bitten, harder. Ethnic group distinctions have always existed, autonomously, under a cast system in all human societies since, well, forever. Nothing new under-the-sun and adds nothing new to this discussion. In-as-much as arguing with the 'race' aspect to support certain points removes any clarity making for unfound (questionable) assertions herein. If one does not understand this, one cannot possibly argument any point, herein, intelligibly.
  20. Stacking the Deck, Advanced Stage of Systematical inequality Wealth in America is systematically unequal by 'continental ancestry'—and particularly between Blacks and Whites. Blacks have a fraction of business opportunities creating wealth than that of white folk, resulting in more economical insecurity and far fewer opportunities for upward mobility. Even after considering positive factors such as increased education levels, conforming to social norms, etc., Blacks still have less opportunity and wealth than whites. Resulting into even fewer opportunities for upward mobility, is compounded by lower income levels in the Black community and fewer chances to build or pass accumulated opportunities down to Black children. And that's the problem W.E.B. Dubois alluded to in his rhetorical assessment of problems of the color divide in America. Internet and social media conglomerates are widening the gap with advanced systematic White supremacy aimed at suppressing Black owned business's. Google, without a core mission statement remain free to discriminate in their 'business opportunity' offerings and employment practices because they've yet to formally commit to equal opportunity policies. Now, google, aligned with the Department of Defense has government protection and a green light to discriminate. And Black are laid back, complacent, and willing to sell-out for a tidbit.
  21. Alan Emtage, thanks Jmachats, my first time hearing this. Learn something new everyday about Black folk! But not surprised because so much Black telent is still out there. Thanks again!!!
  22. Humm, interesting! I'am aware of issues related to Google and Black employment but thought they'd at least be more inclusive of Black presence in their offices, for camara opts, etc.
  23. Yeah, considering DOD's mission statement aligned with Google's lack of a 'core mission statement' with revenues more than $50.17 billion is scary stuff. I'm curious though, how did they treat you, make you feel; was the environment welcoming, dismal, secretive?
  24. Me too, brother Troy, 'conjecture' is quite different from suspicion. Though my persoanal right to be suspicious Pioneer1's motive's are not as vicious as he make them out to be.
  25. Valued social relationships versus individuality, where deception and truth merge and differentiated: From A Black Perspective. A published, 2008, research suggests that deceptive communication can serve a functional purpose. The study revealed that a person's motivation to deceive is influenced by his or her/his cultural self-identity [and] that one's cultural identity greatly influences whether a message was perceived to be deceptive. The research points out that: -- People who strongly valued their own individuality over the social relationships reported having a lower overall motivation to deceive; -- People who possessed cultural self-identities which emphasize placing group needs over the individual reported having a greater overall motivation to avoid telling the truth; -- When people were presented with a scenario in which deception would serve to benefit them, those who valued their independence were more willing to use deception than in cases where deception would benefit someone else; -- People who valued social relationships over individuality, reported a greater willingness to use deception to benefit others rather than for self-serving purposes; Western cultures have long been noted to cultivate members who value their individuality. Being a moral and ethical person requires avoiding any communication that would jeopardize one's own personal integrity, such as lying. By comparison, East Asian cultures have been well-known for endorsing more indirect styles of communication to protect the image of the other and promote trouble-free relationships. Deceptive communication has and continues to serve as a useful tool in the maintenance and preservation of significant social relationships. [Adversely, false identities (about one-self) can throw off and muddle 'well intended' sites. Deceivers of identity are of low moral; impostures, the main form of self-deception involves unreflective acceptance of belief(s) that impartial inspection would readily expose as spurious (ideas, principles, and aims) in the instance of lying to one's self, to deceive others; arises from the failure (or refusal) to analyze appealing ides of others from the perspective of the generalized other which we acquire through participation in the universe of rational discourse. This perspective rejects the two most prevalent explanations of self-deception - namely, Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic interpretation and Jean-Paul Sartre's phenomenological one - I provide a brief sketch of some of Dewey's and Mead's fundamental insights into the inherently social nature of mind. In a much longer analysis.]
