There is no need for me to amend my forum rules The issue with my challenging your sources is when you post something that is wrong then back it up with a questionable source. If I have the time I'm gonna challenge it. Have you considered reading a Black-owned newspaper. Again they should not be your only source but if might help give you a perspective that would service you better than the Daily Mail and that other propaganda engine you linked to recently. Hi @richardmurray in your blog post questioning Ebony's viability you wrote, "...in the usa people, all races, are buying less and less books in any form." I was wondering where you got that stat? No, I do believe a print version of Ebony will be wrought with challenges. I just don't think a lack of potential readers will be their problem. The need to publish substantive articles. Celebrity fluff will not cut it -- at least not with me. If they follow the mainstream media's lead, in the way Black people are covered, they will fail. Ebony needs to elevate itself above the fray -- the way they did in the past.

I have never followed a link of @nels, but I suspect this is true. The sheer number of the URLs has a spammy quality... Over the past few years I've observed that links offered to make a point usually do not support the point made. Often the linked article does the exactly opposite -- refuting the posters claim! That, or the source itself is specious, unworthy of being read. @ProfD Few humans get more attention than Trump. He plays the media like a fiddle and they can't help themselves because they crave the attention (read: revenue) that Trump creates. This will never change with the current system. Trump can very easily become President again under these conditions. Of couse election laws and gerrymandering in favor of his party with help make this possible. The mid-term elections will be very telling.

Actually having lost my ID multiple times at different financial states. There are government and social agencies which will help you get those need documents. I think that also is a gross underestimate. My average income fluxes from 50k to 130k. Now I would be more inclined to believe a regional breakdown of income by race.

I want to be able to enjoy, adapt and learn to appreciate the wonderful taste of natural foods, the right kinds of nourishment. I want to be able to see and behold all of the natural beauty that the world has to offer I want my offspring to be at peace forever I want to be able to make amends with anyone that I wrongfully hurt I want to be able to say thank you and show my appreciation to every human being who directly or even indirectly helped me gain peace I want to be healthy! Cynique, Some of the comments I come across on here are really pitiful. So much anti-Black sentiment from people who claim to be Black. Unsubstantiated charges, repeats of decades old anti-Black tropes and a whole lot of ignorance of recent history. I am beginning to become convinced that some of these Trump supporters look at this lying, racist and clown as their god. They need to worship Massa Trump so they can be told whom to hate, whom to insult and how to grovel if they are ever going to be acceptable to him. I am not sure this is the case with all of them. But I bet a few have a secret desire to be pointed to the fields so they can live out their true dream as a subservient toady to a man they deem superior.

Troy, I am so glad that you found this helpful. I don't see independent publishing as a competitive business, but a collaborative one. And so many people have given me suggestions and information, I am compelled to return the kindness when I can. Also, if I have made a mistake, there is no need for others to make the same mistake. That's the title for a documentary on the Black Books Ecosystem (BBE.) The concept is get a bookmobile, fill it with books and drive around the country interviewing authors, publishers, distributors, readers and bookstore owners about the Black books ecosystem. We would document the history, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the BBE. It could be a webseries funded by the participants themselves. The title iSankore is a reference to the University of Sankore at Timbuktu. The route followed by the Bookmobile would be a modern day version of the African Ink Road which ran from north of Timbuktu to south of Kaduna in present day Nigeria. Using the "i" connects to the internet, but also references individual, inform, instruct and inspire. All of which are related to the BBE. It uses the internet to connect individuals to instructive information that inspires.
