  1. When it comes to something I don't know, I'll admit it if asked a question that I either don't know and/or cannot find the answer. Otherwise, I enjoy a good discussion and will give my opinion regardless of my knowledge or ignorance especially if I can find humor in it. 😁😎
  2. Needless to say, i am very opinionated and hypercritical. And I didn't just gradually become this way over a period of time through extensive engagement with a broad range of people. It's simply an intrinsic part of who i am, and I have been argumentive since grade school, always posing the question "but, what if?". Fortunately, i don't take myself too seriously, and those who i take the most serious are, likewise, ones who can poke fun at themselves; these are usually the type who know the most. Knowledge is power, but modesty is endearing. People are quick to call me negative, but i like to think of myself as being realistic, and chronic optimists bore me. Bottom line, there's always an element of mischief in my bantering. And believe it or not - "i know that I know nothing." Oh, and by the way, I'm old and world weary. But what do I know?
  3. Voting helps, especially in LOCAL elections and even state elections to a certain extent. However it's only a FACTOR in the entire political process. Not only do you have to VOTE your interests and vote the people who promote them into office, but you have to FOLLOW UP your vote by constantly putting pressure on those elected officials to implement your agenda. Most Black folks don't understand that it takes money to keep people in office and you have to continue to fund their elections and political career if you want them to push your agenda. On top of that...... Giving them money will eventually get YOU more money and benefits; so it's more of an investment.
  4. I assume I'm ignorant in most cases. One can not know what they do not know. We are all ignorant about something and ignorance is relative. Sometimes you can tell when you are more ignorant than someone else. But you can be so ignorant on a subject that you don't even know when you are being feed a lot of bullshit, from someone even more ignorant. I never comment on The conversations @Pioneer1 and @Chevdove have on the Bible, I don't know enough about the subject to even step foot into one of those conversations 🙂
  5. There's no shortage of white thugs and criminals running around. I doubt they're cyborgs so they have losers and idiots, er, moms and dads too. 😎
  6. Police exist solely to protect and secure the interests of white supremacy in accordance with its laws. There's no level playing field. 😎
  7. All SCOTUS Justices are chosen based on race and gender. Look at their pictures. 😎

  9. Donald Trump was the best thing to happen to blacks.. at least to the ones that wanted to work and lead a lawful life.
  10. And in other news, Rudy Giuliani, the stoop shouldered, Frankenstein walking former Mayor of NYC is still dying from a supposed vicious slap in the back at a Staten Island, N.Y., Shoprite supermarket. Rudy, whose continuous eyebrow raising was a thing of beauty and weirdness, is also an ardent defender of Lord Dampnut who put in many moons of work for 45 (and rarely got paid). Rudy still claims massive voter fraud doomed his former boss and thinks his son, Andrew should've been be NY Governor. But voters said nyet. But I don't feel sorry for him. Rudy just cursed out NYC Mayor Eric Adams, a former police captain, who reminded Captain Anti-Crime that one can be punished for filing a false police report. Touchy, touchy. Rudy & Son are reportedly looking for investors and a producer for a full-length horror movie about the Shoprite incident incident. It will be called "The Slappening."
  11. You're arguing over which Black man beats up other Black men the most? Write a blog. An editorial. Tape a Podcast. Run for office. The latter is probably the most effective.
  12. Absolutely If we ONLY spoke about that which we knew for sure and never guessed, estimated, or speculated.....things would get pretty boring real quick, lol. Not to mention how SHORT and AKWARD conversations would be. "Hello...how are you this morning?" "I don't know yet. Ask me after Noon after morning's been completed and I'll be able to answer your question!"
  13. The system is jacked up. Choose the lessor of two evils, but choose. Dont let your vote not be counted -- especially if you are in a swing state.
  14. I strongly disagree with this. The media give trump attention. Many people seek attention indeed a lot of them pay for it and don't get nearly has much. Think about the presidential election. Trump got more media attention than all of the other candidates combined. As you suggested @Stefan I don't believe the people wanted all of this attention heaped onto trump, but if you've even driven a car on the highway you know an accident draws attention. Even the people pissed off for the delay will slow down and look. Not necessarily Professor, I have to side with @Stefanon this one: despite the electoral college, the gerrymandering, the changes to the election laws, and BS calms of voter fraud, if everyone person who did not want Trump in office voted Trump can not win. But the problem is too many of us spend to much time online and have become convinced that our vote does not matter, so we sit out elections especially the midterms. VOTE it matters.
  15. Just to be clear, this non existent movie is "helmed" by Conservatives debunking the excuses apologetic Liberals give for the disarray of the "black community". Whatever. Like Harry Brown's posts, "Greg" provides subject matter to comment on, and for me, in particular, a chance to engage in my favorite pasttime: belittling those who I disagree with. 😛
  16. Don't forget Jazz and gospel. There is zero musical culture that white people have created without the influence of Black Americans. You seem to have forgotten whites would have starved with help from the indigenous Americans. Which they repaid by slaughtering their hosts. Here's a hint Hidden Figures. White people all over the world are successful because of stealing and genocide. Read the real history of the Untied States. The suggestion that you either read or think is rhetorical.
  17. @Cynique @Troy @Mel Hopkins @ProfD @Chevdove I don't always agree with you but I enjoy your presence.
  18. We need to respect all. Let's not fall into the habit of those who oppress us by mislabeling another ethnic group. The Roma used to travel in horse drawn or camel led caravans. Once called Gypsies, they suffered the loss of millions during The Holocaust. They now travel in modern recreational vehicles. They are known as the Roma. The Nazis killed close to six million Jews in their extermination camps. But the Nazis also murdered nine million Poles, Roma, religious war objectors, POWs, LGBT folks and those who helped Jews escape.
  19. @Chevdove One of the reasons why the racist Afrikaaner government in Pretoria, South Africa, was able to hold out for so long is because Israel gave the South Africans nuclear weapons. Israel simply turned against the African National Congress because they wanted the gold and diamond riches of South Africa.
  20. @ProfD I do not believe you are fully thinking your position through. Any coordinated effort by Blacks to kill Whites will result in genocidal killings of innocent Black people. Black Americans are not Middle Easterners and most of us in the U.S. do not live to exact revenge. In some areas of the world, such as the Balkans, vengeance is expected. I will not agree with that - even though some may visualize this a pleasant fantasy. @Chevdove You are absolutely right. What happened in Buffalo, N.Y., is an example of domestic racist terrorism.
  21. Many people in East Africa, especially Muslim Africans in Somalia and Sudan don't like Israel. I tell Somalis and Sudanese Muslims "I don't care WHAT them Arabs say because they are just as racist against you as the Jews are. So Somalia, Sudan, and other African nations have no business taking sides in that Arab-Jew conflict" Black Africans look silly as hell taking sides with one racist over another when BOTH are working together for their destruction.
  22. The sistaz have lovely faces, but I'm not feeling the muscular athletic bodies. I'm glad they found success in track doing what they do, I'm just saying from a SEXUAL point of view I'd rather be with an obese sista than a slim hard-muscled one. Another thing too is, our sistaz need to chill on so many of them damn tattoos. We already have color in our skin. We were Divinely Graced with the gift of MELANIN....no need to add ink to it. Let the pale people ink up all they want, but let us keep our skin pure and perfect. Italians are Europe's honorary Black people. And the Gypsies are Europe's honorary Native Americans. I didn't know much about them until I visited Europe and saw them roaming around living totally contradictory lives to the rest of the Europeans in their environment.
  23. Sha-carri Richardson got the shaft when she was disqualified last year for testing positive for marijuana. Glad to see she has made an impressive comeback. I love women's track. Especially the Relays. Sistas really perform impressively in that event. These ladies are all following in the tradition set by Flo-Jo who was the first female track star to bring style and glamour to the sport! Thanks, ChevDove. Assembling those pictures and compiling the accompanying info must've taken a lot of time.
  24. Man, is Pandini the fastest white girl ever? I think some of the sisters could shave a couple hundred of a second if their hair was less "big." The sprints are one of my favorite events - thanks for sharing @Chevdove and providing a break from all the negative stuff algorithms like to shove in our faces.
  25. Consider that the media hype is actually what makes you think that is more than media hype. This is how our brains work. For example, New York City used to had more than 2,000 murders a year when I was under. In the last decade I doubt they went over 500, but people are under the impression that the city is as dangerous as it has even been when the opposite it true. But when the subway gun man is repeated a bazillion times -- it makes you want to be strapped to ride the subway. Good question. But you must agree buying an AR-14 is not the answer either. True, and not profits are up for gun manufactures every time there is a "mass" shooting.
  26. Thank you, this post brings some much needed light. Del In one of my visits to Switzerland I met a Swiss man whose father was African. I also met another biracial Swiss person in NYC. So thanks @Chevdove. Keep on Keeping on
  27. Black folks have always been naturally beautiful but that has never kept us from turning up by accessorizing i.e. hair, nails, clothes, shoes, etc. I'm so very proud of our sisters who are not only beautiful in appearance and great physical shape but they're also smart and intelligent and savvy when it comes to handling their business too. As a counter to the negativity and stereotypes that come with obesity, it would be awesome if our athletes used their platforms to motivate black folks into becoming more physically fit too. There is a huge health benefit to being in great shape without training for the Olympics. The accessories I cannot get with are tattoos and eyelashes. I realize it's the thing among younger people. I'm an old man. Otherwise, I applaud their successes.😎
