  1. It's okay I often neither read what he posts and rarely respond to his comments.
  2. The Department of Justice (DOJ) has arrested and charged former police officers who were responsible for the raid and firing shots that led to Breonna Taylor's death. It took almost 2. 5 years to bring these killers to justice but better later than never. I hope AG Merrick Garland brings a solid case against them. Breonna Taylor's family has already won a civil suit. Putting these murderers behind bars would bring justice full circle. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  3. Well, gee, nice to see you've jumped aboard the Stefan Freedom Streetcar.
  4. ProfD One of my criticisms of Obama was that despite his intelligence and articulation he didn't seem to know how to talk to the average person Black or White. He's so smart and academic and like most highly educated people, he makes the mistake of assuming everyone can or should understand the points he's trying to make. He underestimates how STUPID the average American is....lol. But the Republicans DON'T. They KNOW a large (and growing) percentage of Americans are STUPID and gullible and all they have to do is tell a lie bold enough for long enough and they'll believe it. They know how to talk plainly and reach the masses of their TARGET audience.....poor White folks. Say what you want about Trump but when he gives a speech you know EXACTLY what he's saying and what he means when he says it, even if it's a straight up lie. There is little CONFUSION over what Trump is saying and means, even if you don't believe it.
  5. The terrorists that Black and poor citizens of the United States need to be most concerned about is the REPUBLICAN PARTY. Islamic extremists may pose a threat to those in various parts of the Middle East and Africa, but here in the United States it's these right-wingers who are primarily responsible for keeping up chaos and dysfunction in both the political and legal systems as well as in law enforcement, schools, etc...
  6. Herschel Walker....like Trump....is charismatic. He's stupid, but he has an element of charisma; as charisma and intelligence don't always coincide with each other. George W. Bush proved that over and over again. He may have been an imbecile with a stupidity so profound that even people in other countries could immediate notice; not to mention a psychopath who ordered the mass murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent people in both Iraq and Afghanistan. -but because of how he carried himself you just "liked" the guy when you heard him talk or spent some time with him.

This has been my complaint about them for decades. They don't go hard in the paint for anything. If it's not handed to them on a silver platter, they'll shrug their shoulders and say I tried and slink away. Meanwhile, the GOP will let proverbial nuts hang when they're steering thr ship. They are like a bull in a China shop when it comes to pushing their agenda. They routinely punk the Dems regardless or who's in charge. That's why I'll continue to beat my drum that these parties are two sides of the same coin. Maintaining white supremacy is the primary objective of both political parties. They've gotten n8gglets to buy into and fight over it. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Raises hand. My parents have always been my *heroes*. That's why I've never idolized anyone else. Great thread. Real parents never get enough credit for what they do. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. At this point, China is nothing more than a BIG PLANTATION full of docile well trained SLAVES for Western corporations. The Western elite and corporate CEOs are the slave masters and the Chinese people under the Communist Party are the slaves. The Communist Party acts as the overseers to keep the people working and producing for the Western Corporations. This is why so many Chinese are going crazy committing suicide and jumping off buildings and stabbing their own little children up in the schools. They're going crazy under the stress of an oppressive society that has made slaves out of them.

Coggins Lol...those grapes aren't "sour"...they're FERMENTED. And eating them obviously has gotten you DRUNK ๐Ÿคช if you think Trump would have been a better President. ??? Uhh...he was the ONLY man in the race. Stefan GOOD I hope the next time we hear from him is while he's UNDER OATH during his trial. Which...at the margin SHE won the popular vote by...doesn't make a lot of sense to me. There is no way you can win the popular vote by nearly 3 million and LEGITIMATELY lose the electoral vote, because the electoral vote in each state is GOVERNED by those who won the popular vote. While it's possible at a millon, it's still HIGHLY unlikely. The fact is, the Republican officials in most of these states...especially states like Florida and Texas...conspired and orchestrated to manipulate votes district by district to get Trump in office. Just like they did the same thing with Al Gore. The biggest problem isn't the Republicans cheating. We're used to that. The BIGGEST problem is the unwillingness of the Democrat party to even CALL THEM OUT on it, let alone put up a good fight. That was a FACTOR as to why she didn't win by a LARGER margin, but the facts is again....the lady got over 3 millon more popular votes. At that point Bernie becomes a non-factor. You would have gotten the same results if she had won the popular vote by 5 MILLION. They would have still cheated, gotten Trump in office...and goofballs would be on television "explaining" how Trump still won the electorate without the popular vote. Again, the biggest problem isn't Bernie or these other people pushed by the Republicans to siphon votes away...the biggest problem with the Democrats as a party is a lack of back-bone or fighting spirit. You saw this with Bill Clinton and you was it with Obama. CLINTON AND OBAMA are the reasons we ended up with Bush and Trump. A most people don't support the Democrat party...not out of ideology...but as an aversion to wimps and cowards who refuse to fight even when they are obviously being screwed over.
  11. @ProfD Let's establish the job training programs first. I'm not willing to write anyone off yet. That's what was done to our people for generations. I know we can get this done. There definitely is mental fatigue, so I agree with you. But we just can't stand around and let folks shuffle off to their doom either.
  12. Hey thanks to everybody for your feedback and encouragement. It means a lot. On the lighter side of this topic. I would like to see a black romantic comedy about a left leaning black man and a conservative rightwing black woman who manage to stop fighting with each other long enough to fall in love. Maybe a movie for streaming on Tubi or Vudu. It might be a good vehicle for Taye Diggs and Nicole Parker. It might be lighthearted way to explore romance, intimacy, politics, and serious issues from a black male-female perspective. Just thinking out loud.
  13. The availability of job training programs would help some folks. But, there has to be a stronger desire to work. Mental and physcal laziness are very real conditions. It's evident early when folks donโ€™t work hard enough to get an education. In addition to state and federal government, private investors could establish job training programs too. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  14. Genius is having exceptional intellectual ability, creative productivity, imagination and originality to the extent of being able to achieve new discoveries or advance knowledge. A part of genius is having the ability to recognize or envision patterns, shapes and concepts in order to produce tangible results. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  15. I feel the following: Genius is recognising patterns that others have not seen. Genius is visionary.
  16. Iโ€™m sure @Pioneer1 did not read the articles. In fact Iโ€™d be willing to guess that he does not read all the articles he posts himself. This is not to disparage Pioneer, because commenting on articles one has not read is pretty common. People will read headlines which are often misleading. for example the heading of this post stated that genius is pattern recognition. Neither article made that sole assertion nor did either article refute pioneerโ€™s statement.
  17. I don't know if it is still true, but more money is spent on the military than infrastructure in the US. There's always money for the business of war and the war business.
  18. @daniellegfny I am actually happy to see your name on posts. To me, you seemed to have disappeared for a few months and that got me worried. We may differ politically, but I admire your consistency.
  19. Here we are over 50 years later and the conditions that bred cats like the late Claude Brown remain unchanged. Voices like his are still necessary. It takes black folks who've lived both sides of the struggle to reach the younger generation and save them from becoming wayward and/or put them on a different path. A social worker on a salary doesn't have it. A message is better received when the listener either feels and/or believes the messenger shares a similar background and experience. In other words, knuckleheads rarely listen to squares and nerds. That's why Hip-Hop music is so powerful. Where folks might not be inclined to pick up a book, they will listen to music. Too bad not enough of those artists use their voices to teach and uplift the younger generation either.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  20. Hey Greg...we want Cynique back immediately. ๐Ÿคฃ I'm curious to know what the cautionary tale is and how her behavior was reckless. None of this happens under difference circumstances i.e. no dust up between Russia and Ukraine and the US providing support. Otherwise, sista Brittney has no issues traveling back and forth to Russia with her cannabis oil weighing less than a stick of gum and hooping to make extra bread in order to feed her family. Besides, it's not like she was smuggling nuclear material into their country and/or stealing secrets from them. In the grand scheme of things, the crime is totally ridiculous. The punishment based on man-made *laws* and in this case political pressure, is a complete miscarriage of justice. If I were to consider this a cautionary tale especially for athletes and entertainers...petition American employers to pay enough money for your talent that there is no incentive to leave the country in order to make money elsewhere. The WNBA should be paying its players enough money so that they don't have play overseas to make ends meet. That's the fight sista Griner should take up when she gets back home.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  21. The situation definitely does not warrant such an extreme. It takes a lot more than a bogus cannabis oil charge and a prison sentence to go to war. ๐Ÿ˜ The wheels of diplomacy are still spinning and will prevail. Don't sweat it. Our sista will be home before the holidays.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  22. Biden this, Biden that, it's Biden's fault, Biden should have done this, Biden should have done that ... Every succeeding generation needs a stronger dose of Ex-Lax.
  23. @Pioneer1 ๐Ÿ˜‚ A loser like you would know this; what woman wouldn't want to change you into something other than what you are. Um, - a loser. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ฉ
  24. @KENNETH Yeah, you need to post more often. You can help clear the "bad air" that sometimes accumulates around here....lol. Dank, musty air that give off "funny vibes" when you walk through it. ((shivers)). Your insightful input is MUCH appreciated.
  25. @KENNETH Why don't you post more often? I appreciate how succinct you are, something which makes your input even more anticipated. I also like that you solicit rather than impose opinions and, like Del, don't feel the need to be a stifling omnipresence. Oh, well. See ya when I see ya.
