  1. @Pioneer1 you have my head spinning, yo. In another discussion initiated by @Delanoreferencing Randomness, he shared a response from ChatGPT that says, 'IS anything random or are things so complex that the order isn't apparent?'. Are Proof and Evidence too complex to truly determine fact (I would argue, yes, in some cases), or are they random conclusions based on insufficient data? Do we lean on subconscious habits and/or conscious choices to resolve our position of proof and evidence? Using the definitions that you shared, how far do we dig to: Show Proof (sufficient enough (who determines this) to establish that a thing is true, or produce belief in its truth). Is this then, Proof? hmmmm. Does the Evidence (that which or tends to prove or disprove something(who determines this)). Is this, Evidence? Hmmm. or are some things too complex that subjective random opinions interfere? hmmm, maybe in some cases We've witnessed the impact of Proof and Evidence - conveniently. (in many cases) In other words, an apple is, in fact, and objectively an apple, (based on sufficient proof and evidence of what constitutes an apple) statistics about, for example, why there is an increase in crime in my neighborhood, is too complex to be objective, insensitive to be subjective and too complex to be random. Thus, proof and evidence can result in false positives. so, to address your topic, 'Evidence and Proof...there is a difference'. the difference depends on the intention and the ability to objectively conclude. But then again, how can we objectively conclude if these words are arbitrarily defined based on ones intentions?

  2. Stefan @Stefan I don't care how smart some people think you are, do you know what .50 caliber bullets will do a human body? It is not easy to depose an autocratic ruler who enjoys the support of a nation's military and police apparatus. If it were easy, there would be no dictatorships. Why do you think Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe lasted so long? It was only when the military was convinced he had to go - that he actually went. There are 57 dictatorial rulers on our planet, according to planetrulers dot com: While you're right and I agree with you that dictators rule many of these African nations, two things need to be kept in mind: 1. Most of the dictators around the world were PROPPED UP by the West and given the money and military hardware to oppress their people. 2. Not all dictators were propped up by Western powers, some of them.....as is the case in North Korea...are just naturally desired as leaders. Many if not most cultures actually DESIRE a dictator or strong-man to lead them. They're not down with so-called "Democracy" because it places too much responsibility on them. I'd go as far as to say that in some cases, a dictator is MORE natural than a president. Autocracies governed MOST societies for thousands of years right up until recently. ProfD @ProfD Folks run around the streets engaging in gangs and/or criminal activities knowing the risks. They might have to kill or be killed too. Well...MOST folks...lol. You got a lot of young pups out there who have bought into the "glorious" thug life they hear about in rap music and hood movies and although they know death and destruction exists in the streets, many are still naive enough to never think THEY would never end up hemmed up. The Russian military and its citizens are complicit in fulfilling the sociopathic designs of their dictator. The question is why won't they overthrow him I'm sure many people around the planet were asking the same question of Americans when Trump was in office. Rodney campbell @Rodney campbell Well said commentary on many of these "street" people. Most of them are absolutely a product of White racism. Monsters....Frankensteins...that have been manufactured by the powers that be through their self destructive music, drugs, and other influences that destroy the morality and intelligence of people. We can't expect much progress in our community as long as their is an abundance of them dwelling within. Dee Miller @Dee Miller I'm not in a position to judge, but my opinion matters, right? Well....uhhh...to keep it real: ONLY if it agrees with mine, lol.

  3. After Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez managed to get herself elected in a Bronx-Queens, N.Y., district in 2022, Democrats were ecstatic. "She's young! She's smart! She's beautiful. She cares about people" That is what many crowed. I took a wait and see approach. Heady with undeserved praise, AOC believed she was a political goddess. So much so, she decided she was going to end Trump's government shutdown all by herself. So she put on her red lipstick, invited chosen media types to join her as she stomped into the Rayburn Senate Office Building to find Sen. Mitch McConnell and force him to help her. Unfamiliar with the Rayburn building, Ms. Knucklehead got lost. It was then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who ended the shutdown. But AOC wasn't done. She appointed herself sotto voce ruler of Black people and her Justice Democrats PAC targeted eight elected Black Congressmen for defeat. No one else. Just Black representatives. I guess they weren't sufficiently radical enough. We know AOC loves Mexican immigrants. Which is why the folks who greet migrants at the Port Authority Bus Terminal fill their head with what they supposedly deserve from taxpayers. Because of the advice they got from AOC and her Progressive minions. To be fair, Chinese also do this for their new arrivals through their community agencies. Which is why many Latino migrants refuse to go shelters, which are at capacity anyway. They want three-star hotel rooms. Think Haitian immigrants are awarded hotel rooms, able to toss away carefully prepared meals, shun registering, according to our laws and are treated with kid gloves by law enforcement? A year ago, I predicted New York City would quickly run out of money trying to house and please these migrants. And it has. Mayor Eric Adams was forced to slash the municipal budget. So ordinary New Yorkers will have to put up with slashed services in AOC's Wonderful World of Migrants. Of course, you could always vote for Republicans and get your kids schools shut down, be told your history dosen't count, be ordered to never mention your Black heroes because that's being woke. Running away as someone suggested will never work. But Voting does.

  4. Not surprisingly, i reject pioneer's self serving contention that our argument was not a debate. As in all debates there is a pro argument and a con argument, and each side states its case. (This procedure occurs on a regular basis in the U.S. Supreme court where the majority opinion rules.) At the risk of being repetitive, this debate is also a text book example of how semantics come into play, something implicit in Dee Miller's observations. What also comes into play are personalities and pioneer can always be depended upon by word or deed to try and prove what he gives no evidence of, which is that he is the "smartest person in the room". To do otherwise would deflate his bloated ego and inflated sense of self esteem, something that can be traced to a deeper psychosis. Del and I, in essence, agreed to disagree which is moreorless a draw siince we never really declared either of ourselves the winner. But pioneer persisted because he imagines that this forum is a stage, and he desperately wants the audience of lurkers to look upon him as a super star rather than the mundane mope that he is. He obviously ruminated all week long and then grasping at the straws afloat in his wet dreams, reappears on this thread, pouncing on one of the definitions of "multiple", - another being a number that can be divided by another number without a remainder, something 3 isn't. Context, context! What was also a blatant example of pioneer's inadequacies were his usual straw man distortions, false equivalencies, non sequiturs and ad hominem attacks. And It really says a lot about how illogical his thinking is to say i didn't get past 2nd grade when he in his playground mentality bites his fingernails trying to best me. zzzzzzz @Dee MillerYour analysis was a valid one, particularly because it wasn't the rant of a numbskull whose head it will go right over because he is unable to think in the abstract. Thank you for your input!

  8. Nels and Coggins are clearly Republican Stefan and maybe Cynique are clearly Democrat. Everybody else seems to either be double dipping from both sides depending on the issue or like Rodney totally anti-politics period.

  9. Rodney campbell It's working, but not to their liking....lol. I'm sure whoever was/is orchestrating the organized outrage over this sad incident were looking for a MUCH larger reaction from the AfroAmerican community. Certainly a more violent one. And they didn't get it.

  10. Human beings would have better luck in life if it was less random. We create patterns and rhythms to increase the probability of desired outcomes. Even with humans best laid plans, random sh8t makes it go sideways.

  11. Just know that our position is a minority around here. Many folks line up on one side of the aisle or the other politically. A classic case of insanity.

  12. I can't say that I've experienced obsession....but I HAVE definitely experienced Love, many times. It has inspired me to do many things. Simply thinking about the woman I loved at the time, and what it would take to impress her. Years ago a secret was uncovered........... Most men will do almost anything to gain the Attraction or atleast the Attention of the women he desires. This is one of the reasons sports teams often have scantily clad cheerleaders making noise and bouncing up and down while showing support.

  13. It stops when intelligent AfroAmericans...especially the men....DECIDE to stop it. When they decide collectively to stand up and put an end to it, it will stop.

  14. I think China knows better than to put ANY type of ballistics or weaponry inside of anything they send over here....lol. They aren't stupid at all....let alone THAT stupid. I'm thinking it was one of 2 things: 1. China simply testing the waters to see how much they could get away with.....as most nations tend to do from time to time. or 2. That balloon actually belongs to the United States and they are operating THROUGH the Chinese government in order to spy on it's own citizens. In a global economy, there is no U.S. vs China....it's the rich vs everybody else. The same rich people who control the U.S. also control China, so it's not a stretch to believe that both nations could be working together to maintain control over their masses.
