  1. Physics is definitely a part of STEM. The tenor of your posts suggest a greater emphasis shoukd be placed on it.
  2. Now, it's being reported that VP Harris' campaign is $20 million in debt after raising $1 billion dollars. The math doesn't add up. Reads like the media is piling on after her POTUS defeat. I'm not worried about the VP going back to her McDs job next year. Debt will get paid. VP will be free to live her best life away from the fray.
  3. Definitely not a desktop either. While there may not be enough emphasis placed on economics, accounting and physics, no shortage of STEM folks in every generation. I hope that woman isn't teaching STEM classes. While the metric system is taught in US schools, the Americans who seem to use it the most are dealing with grams and kilos.
  4. A 1TB external SSD can be bought for the same price.
  5. The same technology becomes cheaper over time. A few megabytes of computer was expensive a decade or so ago. Nowadays, terabytes of memory cost less. Same goes for consumer electronics. 4K TVs are cheaper now. Of course, planned obsolescence is very real and always in effect. Folks have been conditioned to expect that they will have to replace a TV every 5-7 years.
  6. I don't believe AI will reach the point of salience to develop desire, ambition and initiative. H8ll, we have a hard enough time programming humans to get off their azz and do something constructive and productive. AI will help us with tasks and problem-solving. In advance, AI cannot see a task that needs to be performed or a problem that needs to solve. I doubt that someone will wake up one day and AI has already produced whatever they had dreamed about while asleep.
  7. For several decades now, global warming has been blamed on humans. It would be something if cosmic activities is the reason for earth changes. That would be more consistent than our footprint changing weather patterns and causing natural disasters.
  8. Figures in my post above adjusted to correct mistakes. Fact remains that white folks will be the minority of the total US population in 2045.
  9. Maybe it's semantics. I believe the Republican candidate appealed to swing voters more than the Democratic candidate.
  10. I was kidding about the wall. Doubt paying for it will come up again. However, Mexico may be asked to tighten up the border on their end. As long as people have to earn a living, the oldest profession will always be around from street level up to high class escort services.
  11. Flat tires and a honey smeared windshield doesn't make us crazy. Well, it's too late to get yourself some crazy cat. Mature women have just as much to lose as a man. They see the value in boundaries too.
  12. Jaguar Wright has been gossiping since shortly after her singing career stalled over a decade or longer. Unfortunate that her son was murdered. Telling celebrity's business isn't going to bring him back.
  13. That's right. The Civil Rights movement inspired white women to be more than homemakers. White women do not and don't want to do it. Natural born citizenship is the only difference between the average white woman and POTUS OJ's wife. White privilege affords white men in such a way that they don't have to be dominant in order to benefit from it.
  14. I wonder if Mexico is worried about getting back on the hook to pay for building the wall when the incoming POTUS administration takes over in DC.
  15. $16 billion dollars were spent during last election cycle. Money burned up like kindling. No accounting whatsoever.
  16. Absolutely not. Admittedly, I made a mistake on the Black population number. The overall point remains the same. Things will be interesting in 2040 from a population perspective. I'm not looking forward to it.
  17. Maybe not. IMO, it's very similar to 2016. GOP candidate was a white man. Gender appealed to more people than the party. The Democrats would have won if their candidate had been a white man. Just like 2020.
  18. I don't believe the Republican party appeals to more people. Doubt we'll see GOP registration go up. They seemingly had the more popular candidate according to election results.
  19. According to the search engine, US Black population is 47.9 million which rounded is 48 million as you cited. I just rounded to the nearest ten.
  20. https://nypost.com/2024/11/08/us-news/liberal-women-vow-sex-strike-in-protest-over-trumps-win/ POTUS OJ returning to the White House may potentially affect relationships. Some women are threatening to withhold romance and s8x with men over the next 4 years in protesting election results. I cannot imagine who these women are planning to punish with that foolishness. Maybe this movement will fizzle out like the p8ssy hats.
  21. Clearly POTUS Obama was the best candidate. He won twice. The Democrats need to find someone who can sell their message.
  22. Swing voters are neither Republican nor Democrat. They make a huge difference in elections.
  23. My mistake. Black population is closer to 50 million. Otherwise, the overall points stand. The Black vote will be marginalized in the future.
  24. I'm not taking anything away from AI. I don't think it can do what Del does without being trained.
  25. That's right. You've never seen me write that POTUS Obama was a great leader or policy-maker. I'm merely stating that POTUS Obama was the *perfect* candidate for the Democrats back in 2008 as evidenced by him winning the election twice. POTUS Obama fulfilled the purpose of symbolism/tokenism to both Black folks and white supremacists. White folks can scratch off the list electing a Black POTUS. It's in the history books. One and done. Back to white patriarchy running America.
